Dr Kainth Doctors Surgery

Doctor

😠 I have been a patient here for many years. I have never really had a problem with Dr Kainth, always polite and friendly. The problem is the phones and appts. You can be caller no 1 for half an hour , how on earth can that be? Since Covid , it is 10 times worse. I really am not someone who complain... People often mention doctor, appointment, time, phone,

I have been a patient here for many years. I have never really had a problem with Dr Kainth, always polite and friendly. The problem is the phones and appts. You can be caller no 1 for half an hour , how on earth can that be? Since Covid , it is 10 times worse. I really am not someone who complains very often but I feel this is justified. I work at a GP surgery myself so I know how hard it can be , but to me you need to have patients to have a job , without them there is no practice. I have had a medical issue for a few months but as I am always at work I waited till I had time off to sort it . Called yesterday to ask how I get to speak with the Dr to be told to call back tomorrow before 12. Called back today at 10 am , was caller no 1 for 33 minutes. A polite lady answered and asked me what my issue was , I gave her all the details for her to tell me they are finishing appointments at 11 so I can not be seen today .I said I will wait till another day but she said they can not prebook appts. First she said you would need to be here in 5 minutes and when I said I could she was a bit shocked and put me on hold . When she came back on the phone she said it was too late for today now. She said to call back at 8 the next day , obviously with everyone else who wants an appt. I explained you can not get through that I have been trying for 33 minutes, apparently that is what you have to do . I am so frustrated and disappointed with the service 😞 😒 Sad to say but I think it is time to find a new surgery that actually want to help their patients.

Doctor kainth is great. Trying to even get through is a joke! I've tried ringing this morning to confirm the time of my appointment to be on hold to get through for half an hour. Would be quicker by carrier pidgeon or posting a letter.

My son has been struggling with his mental health for coming on two years. At the beginning, I considered circumstantial reasons such as teenage hormones, change to high school, and covid. After trying various options it became clear that he needed further support such as counselling and has been referred. Now as everything medical there is a waiting list which is fine but in the meantime I need support. My son isn't sleeping and is awake most of the night crying due to extreme anxiety, he shakes uncontrollablly throughout his whole body due to anxiety and is also struggling at school. He is in pain and suffering and I know there is medications to support in the meantime whilst we wait for therapy. I am disgusted with Dr Kainth, he doesn't even have the common decency to talk to me on the phone. He says he won't prescribe medication for children, despite pharmacies and other doctors saying there is support available. I am now changing doctors to someone who has some compassion and wants to help. I understand my son is a child but he is suffering daily and all this doctor does is refer us onto other people so he doesn't have to deal with it. The patient care is shocking and I urge anyone to seek a new doctor. My partner was diagnosed last year with cancer and his only symptom was acid reflux, luckily he had a doctor who took time to investigate and help him. If he had, had Dr Kainth as a doctor, he would of sent my partner home with medication for heart burn and most likely died. Thankfully my partner had a good doctor who took the time to listen and help. I guarantee at some point someone will have a serous illness undetected because this doctor is useless and doesn't care about his patients. Never use this doctor if you care about your health.

Individually the staff are fine. Overall the practice is a shambles and the booking system is a disgrace. They only allow booking of appointments up to four weeks in advance (why?) and they are permanently fully booked. Every time you try to make an appointment you are told to phone back the following Monday once they've opened up another week in their diary. On the last three occasions my family needed appointments we started phoning on Monday morning as requested. It took between 45mins and up to TWO HOURS to get through (repeatedly phoning and being cut off after 10mins or so listening to it ringing out) only to be told that the new week in the diary was already filled and to please phone back in another week. In an emergency they will find an appointment, but if you need any kind of routine or on-going care, forget it. If there was another practice in the area with an open list I would move in a heartbeat - there's no guarantee that it will be any better, but it absolutely couldn't be any worse.

They are actively open yet its impossible to get through to reception unless you go there personally. Honestly very disappointing, office staff should all get fired immediately, they using this pandemic as an excuse to be lazy. What a joke, phone never works, so less people able to attend, yet in person you see the staffs acting like they been working hard.

I have been with the practice since I was a child and the staff and Dr Kainth are friendly and helpful but becuase there is only one doctor here the waiting times to get an appointment are appauling. Having to wait over a week for an appointment for myself or my children is terrible and unrealistic. The nurse is only there once a week so trying to get an appointment to see her was a wait time of over 5 weeks....really?! Which is why I moved doctors.

If I could give no stars we would!! Doctors still not seeing patients asking for photos then diagnosis from pictures and reception calls back. Charges for sick notes only doctors that I know of that does this.

Disgusting customer service, staff don't send the correct medication over to the chemist, can never get through, can never get a Doctors appointment, you ask them a question why they haven't done there job properly then they don't answer the question properly

Got to be one of the worst GP in the UK if not the worse in England, the female receptionist are not helpful and dont pass on messages. Furthermore they dont even answer there phones they keep you on hold for over 30min, i went in once frustrated from ringing only to find the receptionist on a private call and then she had the audacity to speak with me in disappointment that i interrupted her call " i will have to put you on hold again" was what she said to whomever was on the call. So instead of having the phoneline free and reserved for patient she using it to have her private gossip. They have given me wrong prescription aswell as telling me they cant help me with certain things and i should go to the hospital, go hospital sit for 2hrs only to be told this is a matter for your GP. BUNCH OF JOKERS needs to be striked off
