Painting chipping falling from the ceiling, cracks in the wall and where the ceiling meets. Bath tub won’t drain as you shower. Toilet doesn’t flush properly and takes another 20 minutes to be flushed again. Window to look outside doesn’t lock, the magnet for the room key doesn’t work and my daughter was inside the room sleeping. So I stood there for 4 minutes and even with the new room keys I requested. It worked when it wanted to. It was nerve wracking. There was a party down in the venue and another party and parents were letting kids run around the hotel until 11:30/midnight on Saturday of our stay for the weekend. I contacted front desk and they didn’t do anything about it until the parent told them to stop. We didn’t get to swim until 9 p.m because the pool and hot tub was over capacity. As there was children running around the pool area. $25/night security deposit so I guess the price wasn’t too bad for a 2 night stay. If you stay here stay upstairs on the second floor instead of the main floor to Green Mill.

This was the worst hotel experience I've had in a long time. I would five 0 stars if possible. Our room was not cleaned well–the floors felt like there was residue and the shower still had hairs around the tub. The shower faucet dripped the entire time we were there. The shower drain was clogged and did not drain during showers which was disgusting. The kleenex box came off of the wall. The air conditioner was broken (we tried to use it to drown out the sound of disruptive guests next to us). The pool area was an unsafe mess, and not to mention way over capacity. No clean/dry towels; I had to ask the front desk two separate times to bring new towels so we could get out of the pool to dry off. There were kids running around unattended, crowding the hot tub, beer cans scattered by the trash cans, and the door handle of the pool area broke off which made it difficult to get out. The worst part was how inattentive staff was about helping or solving issues. Around 11pm when we decided to go to sleep, there were kids running up and down the halls, slamming doors, and singing on a KARAOKE MACHINE in the room next to us. The walls were paper thin and we could hear every word being yelled on the microphone. This continued on until around 4:30am. I did not sleep for more than 2 hours due to constantly being woken up by noise and doors slamming. I made at least 3 calls to the front desk to have staff confront the guests who were being incredibly disruptive, after the first 2 the front desk stopped answering. I have never in my life stayed at a hotel where noisy guests have complete free reign– absolutely nothing was being done about it. I will never stay at this hotel again and I would never recommend it to anyone I know. I felt as if my money was wasted on a horrible stay--if you're looking for a clean and peaceful hotel with helpful staff, look elsewhere!

I am not one to complain or super hard to please but after our experience at this hotel I had to! This was the WORST hotel experience I have ever had. Don’t let the advertised pictures of this place fool you. It is FILTHY. It’s as if the housekeeping do the bare minimum. Change sheets and bedding, take out garbage and vacuum. Very old, outdated and smelly. Our room had clumps of hair in the drain. The shower didn’t even look like it was cleaned at all. There was a hand towel hanging up that was still dirty. There wasn’t any toilet paper. Rusty and dusty vents, cracks in the doors, walls, ceilings. The carpet felt moist and it smelled of mildew and puke in there. There wasn’t even a bathtub. I have small children and for the price we paid I expected at least a bath tub in the room. The microwave was covered with old crusty food, the windows were FILTHY. Cigarette butts and old garbage throughout the patio. Like I mentioned, I have small children. Seriously? How disgusting! Some of the signs pointing to where the room numbers were made no sense and made it difficult to even find our room. I will NEVER come back. Please do yourself a favor and forget about this place. There are much much better options out there.

My kids loved swimming in the pool and I liked the family friendly design of it. I was frustrated that we had to ask and wait for dry towels and that the staff hadn't cleared the pool area of wet towels and trash overnight when we went to swim in the morning again. We enjoy staying at Country Inns for their full breakfast, although my husband chose to skip this time based on his concerns about cleanliness and staff responsiveness.

I am very disappointed. There are stains everywhere in the room. Outlets have a plastic lining over it. In plain sight, there was hair and small debris at the corners of bathroom and main room that the vacuum didn't pick up. Expensive room for the service and amenities provided. Avoid booking here unless you want to add on the bad reviews.

Highlights of our stay -Children stomping around hallways and making lots of noise. Called the front desk and they did nothing about it. -Key cards were not working throughout our stay. We had to go to the front desk several times to get new keys. -Hot tub was broken and filled with cold, murky water. Absolutely not. -Our friends were staying on a different floor and when asked to be closer to them, staff refused to move us. -Room was almost clean. Zero attention to detail (dusty and smelled moldy) -Musty hallways -Breakfast was alright, but extremely crowded.

The 2 guys who work in the evening and overnight are jerks. Always rude, not helpful at all. The lady who works in the mornings, I believe her name is Amy, she Is wonderful! Always helpful and kind. The beds were very cheap and u comfortable. I stayed in the 1 bedroom 2 queen bed suite. I come here often because my kids like the pool. But I won't be back. The hotel needs a major update, and to find new guys to work the front desk! Someone who likes to help people.

I've been coming to this location for years and I have to say it has gone down hill tremendously. For starters I had to replace my key daily, maybe training how to set up a key for multiple days is needed.... this specific trip was only to spend some relaxing time in the hot tub, first day the water was disgusting.. I choose this hotel because if respectful and quiet they usually allow people to stay in the pool area after 10. This year we got told to leave at 10 only to see people swimming an hour later... someone tried to go thru my truck (handles pulled out) when I mentioned something they blew it off... my room wasn't the best and the shower didn't seem to be cleaned at all, just nasty... when checking in I asked to pay 1 night cash, they said that's fine but must be done at check out. When I checked out she dis-regarded my request to pay in cash and just charged my card and got an attitude with me when I demanded a refund after that last straw being broken (never got the refund, i still want my refund). Lastly when I asked for management I was told they were not around and was denied a phone number to contact them not to mention waiting 10 minutes to see what I assume to be the counter lady and her boyfriend coming back in from outside and going into the staff only section, she really needs to be fired (only white girl i saw at the counter my whole stay). I can honestly say I will NEVER be returning to this location if I even entertain country inn suites any more I the future. I still want to speak to management or better yet the owner of this establishment that is slowly falling apart.

Years ago when visiting our relatives, we would stay at this hotel and we loved it. We love the idea that the hotel was located close to the freeway, there is a restaurant next to/attach to the hotel, and the hotel pool is big. coming back to sleep at the hotel after years of enjoying our stay, it has changed tremendously. Nothing has been updated, everything from the walls to the door and bedrooms seems very old. Our bathroom door does not lock. Not to mentioned, our first night sleeping at the hotel, there were cops and k9 dogs outside our hotel room. It was a terrible experience here and we won’t be coming back.

This hotel is truly the definition of false advertising. This hotel is clearly a disgusting road-side motel that has been poorly converted and/or purchased by Radisson. The concern began the moment we arrived and drove through the parking lot. We drove around the back of the hotel to pull up to the front desk and the back of the motel, not facing the street, was still in the disgusting pre-renovated state. Whoever remodeled this property clearly cared about changing the face value presentation and not the actual quality of the property, which was made clear by the inside once we entered. Th lobby was decivingly nice, but everything beyong was disgusting. The hallways and our room were filthy, smelly, and had stains on the walls, carpet, and the ceiling. Our room actually smelled like a petting zoo. I was so apauled and upset, I was fighting tears not to cry since I knew we wouldn't be able to change rooms or hotels. We booked this many months ahead of our trip and selected this location because it looked nice, which was all a deception. In addition to barn yard smell in our room, our bathroom and room were visibly filthy. I wore my shoes in the room 100% of the time and wore sandals in the shower because it was so disgusting. The renovations of this crack den were so poor, paint was left to dry dripping from the ceiling and walls. This property received the worst landlord-special I've ever seen. I will never be back and recommend sleeping in your car.

Booked a double queen room, stayed 4 days 3 nights. The sink in the bathroom was permanently plugged, the air conditioning could not be adjusted, had to unplug it to turn it off, or just let it run. Phone wasn't plugged in, when I found the phone cord and plugged it in, it still didn't work, had to call the front desk with my cell phone. There was no turn down service for any of the days we stayed. Had to put dirty towels and trash in the hall. Hot tub was dirty and luke warm, smelled incredibly strong with chlorine/chemicals. My key cards stopped working every day and the man at the front desk was snarky about me keeping the keys away from my phone/wallet (they weren't near them). WiFi is inconsistent and awful. Overall the hotel is in dire need of updating. The breakfast was the highlight, great food, and wonderful staff handling everything in the mornings.

I appreciate the helpful staff and the flexibility this venue offers. It is perfect for hosting parties of all ages. The rooms are clean and it’s conveniently located right off of I-94 and connected to the Green Mill restaurant which serves delicious food! This hotel is shaped like a U and half first floor guest rooms are equipped with patio doors that walk out to the courtyard which is perfect for summer family activities like grilling, playing Red Rover, or Hide-and-Go-Seek.

The front desk staff Mian was very accommodating and friendly. He brought me fresh fruit and just completely turned my night around. I was staying here overnight before a doctors visit for health complications and have been going through a rough time and he really made a good impression and gave excellent customer service. I would and will stay here again because of him and the quality of the hotel. Great room and the hotel and pool are excellent. Good location. Thanks again!

I had to switch rooms twice because the toilet didn't work in one, a fridge didn't work, and there was no hot water. They wanted to switch me again, but that room smelled like an old ashtray. I was supposed to move to ANOTHER room today, but because of all the moves, housekeeping came into my room at about 7:20 am, and then a call from front desk scolding me for not being in my original room. Please tell me how that was my fault? I had to go to the other room to take a shower, and then stayed in the room with no hot water and a funky fridge. The room was very difficult to find. And I'm told the guy who checked me in enjoyed watching me walk in circles with three bags.

We arrived, got to room, the door would not close unless you slammed it. The dead bolt lock didn't work. The TV wouldn't pull up any channels. Called front desk from my phone because no one picked up from phone in the room. They said that it would be about an hour before they could get there. We needed to still get ready for our engagement for the night and would be leaving for that before the door could get fixed. Two from the front desk came and wouldn't listen to me about the door. Said that I wasn't closing it right. I had to tell them to listen. Then showed them that it was indeed broken. They moved us to another room, which took more time from us getting ready. Didn't offer to help move things. While getting ready had to listen to kids running up and down the hallway, screaming also. When checking out, asked for a receipt for the $100 deposit I had to put down on arrival and a receipt for the deposit back. They couldn't give me a receipt. Said it wasn't possible. Being in the business, you should be able to pull up everything and give the customers what they need. They wouldn't do it. Very unhappy with this hotel. Wouldn't stay there again.

They charged two separate credit cards for the room for one night. They also charged one of the credit cards twice for the one night. In addition, there were no washcloths in our room and there was feces and other yuck on one of the bed sheets when we pulled the bedding back. This is possibly the most run down Country Inn and Suites I’ve ever stayed at. Location is very convenient to the highway access otherwise I would say it is in an area that I wouldn’t recommend because there isn’t anything else around.

If I can rate this, a negative star I would! My family and I decided to stay here because it was affordable. We went to the first room that was given to us and the whole room smelled like cigarettes!!! We left that room to ask for another room because we are not gonna sleep in that air. The front desk got us in a different room stating that this room is a business upgrade room with no additional charge. Let me tell you, the length of going to these damn room is a long distance. When we got to the second room the air was pleasant, so we decided to stay in that room. We unpack our things and was gonna call it a night. However, while just being in that room for 20 minutes, we saw a bed bug on the bed sheet that appeared out of no where waiting to bite one of us. I am thankful that my aunty was able to point it out, if not I would gotten bit! Really disappointing and this place need to be inspected!

The location was convenient for the event my family and I attended. When we went inside, there were people moving a lot of their big equipment from their gym. The hallway smelled damp. The room was not in the best shape. The bath tub did not drain unless we physically held the drain up. The bed sheet had a blood stain on it. We did request for new sheets which was given to us. The place served it's purpose but I would not go back. It looked and felt like it was cleaned just enough for the next guest.

Awesome hotel, non-stop fun for the kiddos, and their breakfast is GREAT with lots of options! Incredibly clean and extremely friendly front desk people. From check in to check out you won't be disappointed!

Location and price were good, but that’s about it. We always check the bed for cleanliness before unpacking. Everything looked fine until the next morning when we went to take a shower. My fiancé found a dirty pair of women’s underwear hanging from the shower rod. It was behind the curtain so we didn’t see it until getting in the shower. Disgusting. We placed the underwear in a garbage bag and took it to the front desk, where the clerk laughed, as if he was amused, and apologized. The only bright side was our shuttle driver who picked us up from the airport after our stay. I believe his name was Sam. He had been working there less than a week and was very polite and helpful.

This was the most respectful staff I've ever dealt with as far as hotels. As far as the cleaning it was up to par, I loved the rooms very cozy I recommend country inn and suits in Woodbury to anyone. hope to see all again in the future thanks.

If you want an honest review, look no further. I'm about to blast this place. I've NEVER stayed in a hotel so absolutely terrible. The only good thing about this hotel was the Noon checkout time. The rooms had visible damage to literally everything. The lamp shades, the walls, the carpet. The bathroom constantly smelled like sewage. There were several nights in which I couldn't get hot water. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything and everyone ALL THE TIME. The door closest to our room had a broken key reader and people were shoving rocks in the door so they could get in. Because that doors key reader was broken we had to (several times) walk to the other door. A lady we spoke to said she had been staying there awhile and that the door had been unusable for a week prior to us getting there. The microwave in our room was broken, and I had to walk up to the front desk at 11pm in my pajamas because "they had no maintenance man on duty". Had to wait like 15 minutes until they finally took me to a microwave. The lightbulb over the outer bathroom sink was broken when we got there, and broken when we left. The pool was okay, but there were always shrieking children in it. The carpeting in the hallways was stained. We admittedly never went to the continental breakfast but it probably would have made us sick. There were never any fresh baked cookies in the box. TLDR: If you need a safe and cheap place to sleep, this is it. It's not nice, and it's not luxury. It's run down and filthy. EDIT: I left a 90$ memory foam pillow in my room. I called the place a few days after I checked out, they didn't have it in lost and found. So, a maid or staff member kept my pillow. Neat!

The pool area was probably one of the best I’ve seen. The hallways smelled a little damp and like smoke (I think it was the carpet), but the room itself was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the desk in the room was very spacious. The breakfast was pretty good as well. The staff was friendly.

  • 5/5 Jana L. 8 months ago on Google
Room was very clean and spacious and quiet. Weekend rate was average and comparable to most nearby hotels. Bed was so comfortable I almost overslept past checkout time! Would stay again.

Staff were friendly and patient. The housekeeper did a great job at cleaning in between the day when we're out. It is a friendly family hotel. Close to everything that we had planned. I think the downside would be that walls are super thin, the toilet seating we had was off, where you sit down, and it would move. I think we would come back and stay since it is in a convenient area for us.

Crowded pool area, 1 ice machine for the entire hotel (it was empty), TV not working correctly, no shower curtain. No attempt by anyone to correct any of the issues when I reported them. I was contacted via text to ask how my say was, I responded with all of the issues and none were corrected. I wish I was not asked if management doesn't really care. As for the Crowded pool, a suggestion would be to dedicate 8pm to 11pm as adults only and require adult supervision for kids in the hot tub, raising the water temp a few notches would be good also. The poor customer service was the most frustrating. I don't like simple, correctable issues to be ignored.

Me and my friend decided to stay at this hotel because of the cheap price and of course you get what you pay for. Horrible service and when we requested to get new towels, they refuse. We even got locked out of our room for no reason..... The staff there looked like it was run by teenagers and that's not a good thing. Save your money and don't say here. I came all the way from Wisconsin only to be disappointed with my stay, never coming again.

Was kind of leary about this place but once I got checked in and saw the room I was better. The room had an open ceiling concept as well as a balcony that you could actually go out on and sit. Clean and presentable room. Looked like was remodeled recently. Quiet place didn't hear much of neighbors like in some places. They do have a hot breakfast.

  • 4/5 Julie H. 9 months ago on Google
The rooms are nice and spacious. The pool is very nice. The breakfast is good. The service for the room was less than par, you have to go to the front desk to get towels, soap, coffee etc because they only do room cleaning every 3rd day . They did not mention that when we checked in.

  • 1/5 Jenna W. 9 months ago on Google
Tried staying here for 3 nights, immediately checked out 2 days early, charged 3 times the amount we agreed to. Our room was freezing cold to the point we couldn't sleep, one part of our suite was hot due to air conditioner not working, on side we did sleep on the a/c was blasted and we were unable to turn it off ( not working ). There was a loud children's party going on for almost 7 hours or longer blasting music in the hallways, children running wild, balloons and garbage left everywhere in the hallways. Unfortunately our door was broken near our room so we had to walk with all of our stuff down the longest hallway. Dead spider left on the floor in the bathroom, pens lodged in the air conditioner, overall disgusting and some of the most awful customer service ever personally had to deal with, not a single apology throughout the experience

  • 2/5 Diane K. 9 months ago on Google
Disgusting. It's musty here and the air feels damp. There's no vent in the bathrooms. The floor is also disgusting. My daughter's feet turned brown after an hour or two of just in our room. We also asked for extra sheets and blanket for the pull out bed and they forgot the blanket so I had to ask for it again. The walls are also very thin. The only thing i like is the grass area in the middle of the hotel.

  • 2/5 Jade H. 9 months ago on Google
A water main broke while we were there. The hot tub is not clean. There is new ownership here, Franchise I suppose. Best continental breakfast I've had this year.

We booked this hotel a couple of days ago on Saturday on online booking agency we get to the hotel and check in we go into our room and it smelled awful the carpet had a rip in and it was pretty much just a really run-down hotel when asked to be switch to a different room so they said they upgraded us we went to that room didn't realize that were to be like carrion a perfectly good conversation with the two rooms at budded up against the walls of the room we were in absolutely not a chance in hell would I ever suggest someone going to stay at this hotel that is absolutely rundown run by a bunch of freaking won't even say people but was absolutely disgusted with the customer service and needless to say I did not get my money back so stay at the hotel from wapping 10 minutes just to be able to call the booking agency not be able to get a refund and said to give the hotel a call and talk to their manager about getting a refund and the one person I talked to says we don't do refunds so that was $125 learning lesson would definitely pass on even considering staying at this hotel

Room was fine. Pool / hot tub were nice. Green Mill was delish! (Pricey with kiddos). Breakfast was great, lots of choices. We only got one channel at night and a few more in the morning, maybe due to weather. Fairly quiet. I would stay again.

  • 4/5 Samantha F. 1 year ago on Google
Love this hotel. First it is connected right to the green mill restaurant second the pool area is really nice and third all the rooms have balconies or walk out patios that lead to an enclosed yard which also connects to the pool. One of my favorite hotels to stay at. Service is hit or miss at the front desk.

Bedbug alert! Stay FAR away! As someone who has been through that trauma, trust me, it is literally never worth that risk. This was one of the most poorly maintained hotels I've ever been in. The rooms, while non-smoking, smelled faintly of soggy cigarettes. The beds were damp and lumpy. There was wetness around the outer wall on the floor. The bathroom had mildew forming around a number of surfaces, but I didn't get a good look as I tried to spend as little time in there as possible. The curtains were torn and the paint on the walls was peeling and chipping. The breakfast area's vents were full of some sort of gunk, along with wrappers and peels from a variety of foodstuffs, clearly it has been a LONG time since that has been cleaned. Here's the biggest kicker: We found a bedbug in our room. I say "a" because that's all I needed to see before I got my family out of there and searching for a new hotel. A bedbug infestation is absolutely unforgivable, and after having gone through that experience a few years ago, I have been hyper-vigilant with checking every hotel I visit. I post this review fully knowing it carries heavy accusations, so that if I can save even one person from that hell, it will be worth it. They cancelled our room, but I hope that through posting this review they will not try to quietly sweep this under the rug (or the bedsheets). It is very clear that this hotel does not undergo regular inspection, and the upkeep is extremely lacking. They need to raise their standards by a mile.

The hotel lobby was amazingly very nice and clean. But once I went beyond that lobby, the room we had was despicable. The bathroom had trails of some form of liquid running down the walls in many areas of the bathroom. The carpet was so dirty that I didn't dare remove my shoes to walk on it. I returned to the front desk requesting another room or leaving the hotel with a refund. Raj was very helpful and eventually found us another room on the other side of the hotel layout (I asked the next morning, they have an 'old' side and a 'new' side. The old side is considered standard rooms and the new side is considered premium rooms. Well, Raj moved us from the 'old' side to the 'new' side. This room was much better with newer furniture and bigger size fridge, looked to be cleaner, but I still would not want to stay there another night. The breakfast was good and offered many options. The floors in the breakfast room were very sticky and our shoes made the sticky sound with every step. The hallways had very dirty carpeting and needs to be replaced. My first impression as I was walking to my room for the first time was....NO, the hallways are bad - What will our room be like?! We were in the area for a family wedding so our family had multiple rooms booked (5 qty rooms) and every single one of us stated we would never stay there again. The pictures on the website are deceiving and don't match what you will be getting. If it wasn't for Raj, I would've left and my family would've too. Upon checkout morning, the gal at the front desk was on her phone and had it on speaker with whomever she was talking to. We couldn't tell she was on the phone at first. She was constantly laughing (bent over hanging onto the counter laughing) and making comments about some guy named Nick. We thought she was on something she was acting so strangely. Finally we figured out she was on the cell phone because she told whomever she was talking to that she was checking out some 'guy' at the counter. My advice....travel to the next hotel!

We had really great service!! We had a room upgrade to a 2 bedroom which was nice. When we got into our room it was nice. But then we looked around the wallpaper was peeling off in one of the bathrooms and there was clearly black mold under. There is obviously serious plumbing problems we we were brushing our teeth and the sink backed up, I used the toilet and that backed up as well.. I didn't dare use the shower as I was concerned it would back up as well.. We were got ready for our event and I had seen a boxelder bug on the floor, of course I killed it. I had seen two more after that. I let it go and made sure that my suitcase was zipped up. Later we got in bed, the bed was comfortable but the pillows were the size of a throw pillow in a king bed...not great. We woke up very early with extremely sore necks and left early to go back home and sleep in our own bed.

Right next to freeway. Big hotel on two floors. Nice staff, friendly front desk. Room was booked thru work for seminar. Pool is huge, unfortunately they prop the doors open. Seems dangerous if little ones wander in. Nice breakfast with a large selection of items. Large king size room. Odd that there isn't an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Overall would recommend just concerned about the open pool area.

  • 2/5 Kathryn N. 2 years ago on Google
The public Areas are very nice and looked well maintained. But the room was the opposite. There were 2 light switches when you Walk in. One went to nothing, and the other did not work. The lamp on the desk was flickering, there was paint peeling from the walls, and the room was so dry you would think it was the Sahara desert. If we were not just using this room to sleep, we would have asked for a new room. The staff was very helpful though when we could not find parking due to other patrons not knowing how to park in the lines.
