New update: this is now powerhouse Gym not Gold's gym! Still needs an upgrade...some machines have been fixed and then others are now not working 😸 maybe it's time to switch to planet fitness there's only one working stair Master and about 5 ellipticals out of order. This gym does not live up to the Gold's name. I've visited other gold's gym in the past and unfortunately this one is by far the worst one I've been to.... The cleaning ladies do an amazing job at keeping it clean and the front desk girls are super friendly.

A long time member of 24 Hour Fitness due to where I live but my heart lies with Gold’s. Always serious workouts going on here. The manager was super nice and efficient, allowing me (a visitor on business) to work out on a $15 day pass. Thanks for the great workout! Fix your sign lights though!

Owner is banking on unused memberships just sitting back.. They have no intention on fixing broken equipment or renewing the facility, it is constantly run down, dirty, and just barely in service. I would love to go to another gym but it is the closest one to me with reasonable free weights (the only thing that seems to work regularly because it needs no maintenance..) owner probably knows many are in the same situation and preying on them... I have no idea what the annual maintenance fee is for..

Love Powerhouse Gym! The variety of classes is great for all levels, and the trainers are by far the best. I appreciate the women's section but feel comfortable in all areas of the gym. It is truly a great place, with good equipment and fantastic people.

The cleaning ladies are amazing and keep the gym clean. Stair machines have been broken for nearly a year, with only one working. Went to this gym for years because it was the closest to my work. Visited the Golds in Newburgh once and immediately canceled my membership here and am now adding 20 minutes of travel to my day just to go to a gym that has working equipment.

I love gold's gym! After I retired, I hesitated in going back to the gym. It was a long time. I am so glad I went back. As soon as you walk in they greet you. The young lady is so friendly and pleasant at the counter. My trainer is awesome! She motivates me to be the best. She is so positive and very knowledgeable with nutritional information as well as the anotomy. Not only do I get to tone my body I get a great educational class The yoga instructor is awesome as well. She is so knowledgeable and focuses on the students' physical ability and challenges. She had such an impression on me that I entered the Yoga Teacher Training. Gold's gym is a great place everyone is so nice. The two ladies that clean are amazing. They keep it so clean!!

New owners that are investing a lot of time and money into great management employees and equipment/ aesthetics Just re joined after moving back to the area. Kudos to all the work being put in

This is one of my favorite gyms. It is clean and well maintained, with enough weights and machines that you're not wasting any time waiting around. Best of all, everyone there is focused on their workout and nothing else.

Formerly called Gold's gym, now as Powerhouse Gym is improving an already great facility to accommodate it's members, focusing on a family oriented gym
