Pondera is a good sized tasting room located in the heart of Woodinville. We visited on a typical seattle fall day (crisp and rainy) and truly enjoyed the escape it provided. From the moment we stepped foot inside it just felt comfortable. The temperature, the decor, the team working hard to keep everyone happy, and the wine. Decorated with art from various artists, the space feels cozy, but as you walk around you realize it’s bigger than it feels. We were seated in the window up front by the door and felt like we had our own little cafe. The team was friendly and seemed to have a genuine love for what they do. We learned they are family owned and operated and while their son produces the wine, they offer tastings, run an art shop, and run a framing business. We, of course, liked their most expensive wine on the tasting menu, and had to have a bottle. Following suit with all other wineries, this waived a tasting fee. I highly recommend this wonderful spot for those rainy days when you just want to get in out of the cold.

Excellent wines and we even got to take a short tour of the new wine making toys seeing what a new grape press can do. Pretty cool. Also, lots of interesting paintings available for sale, if you’re into that — we are.

Love this place! Super friendly, beautiful art to look at while tasting, feels like family each time and never a stranger. I loved it so much, we finally became members! Each wine is so good, it’s hard to pick. Smooth and delicious:)

A beautiful art gallery with fantastic wine selection from a family owned winery/art gallery. What is there not to enjoy? Not only is the wine incredible but the art pieces on every wall will steal your breath away and wish you had more walls to take them home. UPDATE: the best experience still after multiple visits. Here are some fun pictures of their Halloween event.

A fantastic experience for a first-timers trip to the Warehouse District/Woodinville winery area. Toni led us through a tasting of 5-6 pours, which we purchased from a Groupon deal. Not really knowing what to expect, or knowing about the area, we were pleasantly surprised when we tasted each wine, and loved one after the other! Toni was knowledgeable, and personable, and made our first experience very memorable. We purchased several bottles to take back with us to the Midwest.

The wine was excellent and the people were friendly and informative. They have beautiful artwork and sculpture to look at and they had just had a "Young Frankenstein" party for their members and the release of a new wine. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

The first time we walked into Pondera 2yrs ago we immediately joined! Not only for the amazing wine that Shane makes but also the lovely atmosphere and the amazing people who are all part of the Pondera family. As your sipping on some of the best wines Washington has to offer you'll get to enjoy great conversation and wonderful works of art from local artists that rotate throughout the seasons. Yes that's right, Pondera is a winery and gallery in one!!! Honestly I can't say enough good things, you just have to go and experience it for yourself. They just opened up their new summer patio too, so enjoy and cheers!

What a fabulous place! I LOVE wine culture; the people are always so wonderful and friendly. And the wines here are AMAZING! They definitely rival some of my favorite Napa Valley wines. We joined the wine club because we loved so many of their reds. The tasting room is beautiful and well-appointed with lovely art. Kristie & Holly provided great service and an abundance of friendly conversation. We had a wonderful time there. Can't wait to go back!
