Pondera
is
a
good
sized
tasting
room
located
in
the
heart
of
Woodinville.
We
visited
on
a
typical
seattle
fall
day
(crisp
and
rainy)
and
truly
enjoyed
the
escape
it
provided.
From
the
moment
we
stepped
foot
inside
it
just
felt
comfortable.
The
temperature,
the
decor,
the
team
working
hard
to
keep
everyone
happy,
and
the
wine.
Decorated
with
art
from
various
artists,
the
space
feels
cozy,
but
as
you
walk
around
you
realize
it’s
bigger
than
it
feels.
We
were
seated
in
the
window
up
front
by
the
door
and
felt
like
we
had
our
own
little
cafe.
The
team
was
friendly
and
seemed
to
have
a
genuine
love
for
what
they
do.
We
learned
they
are
family
owned
and
operated
and
while
their
son
produces
the
wine,
they
offer
tastings,
run
an
art
shop,
and
run
a
framing
business.
We,
of
course,
liked
their
most
expensive
wine
on
the
tasting
menu,
and
had
to
have
a
bottle.
Following
suit
with
all
other
wineries,
this
waived
a
tasting
fee.
I
highly
recommend
this
wonderful
spot
for
those
rainy
days
when
you
just
want
to
get
in
out
of
the
cold.
