The food was good. The options are a little overwhelming. My life partner was very impressed with the crab cake. She said there was no filler. Idk what that means because I'm originally from Philly lol the service was great. I love the Hot Toddies they serve. Delicious and strong 😋

Worst service. The waitress were rude. The broccoli came to the table ice cold. When we told the waitress her response was "what you want me to do about it" with lots of attitude. Then we had ordered to go a Ceasar Salad with Chicken and it came with a cup of soup ($13.99). They give us a small side salad ($6) and chicken ($6) no soup. Then acted like we were the problem. Had to call the manager to get it straightened. And to add insult to injury, there is a 15% automatic tip for any bill over $30. So there was a $9.75 tip. In the middle of my salad was a huge green pepper ring. Overall the food was just ok. This is not the Double T Diner I grew up with.

Waiter did his job and provided good service to two hungry customers. The turkey dinner was a huge portion. The raspberry cheesecake is to die for. Service was quick a d the food was hot.

We’re having a late dinner, around 7.30ish, some of the customers just finished and left. We’re seat on the left corner near the bar and restrooms area, it was very warm in that corner, probably all the heat accumulated there. It was wet and chilly weather, so the warm inside was perfect. A few moments later, our server came taking orders. We had a delightful chicken pot pie, which come with soup of the day, we chose chicken noodle soup and house of salad which will never showed up if you hadn’t remind the server for couple of time. Another entree was Phily Cheesesteak, their subs always delicious as always! We also ordered kid’s meal, Jetson’s with angel hair noodle. It was a huge portion for kids! Kid’s get glass of apple juice this time. Don’t forget to ask if you have kids next time. The restrooms are clean as always, and this time the heater work! Overall it was a pleasant visit, it’s just took longer time since have to keep reminding the server for our order. He also forgot to ask about high chair or booster chair at the beginning. Maybe tonight wasn’t a good night for him! Hope he feels better the next day!

It's hit or miss as far as the food quality goes. Stick with the crabcake and sweet potato fries and you can't go wrong. It's made with lump crabmeat, large, but could improve with some Old Bay seasoning. The Ruben sandwich was a misser. Will return to give breakfast a chance. Love the nostalgic ex- and interior, too bad jukeboxes don't work anymore.

I ordered their Chef salad, and it did not disappoint. I could not believe the amount of meat on this salad. There was probably enough to make five sandwiches. It was delicious. Next time I get it, I am going them to toss it the kitchen as it was so full of ingredients there was no room to mix it on the plate. Also, a cup of soup came with the salad. I chose their Chicken noodle, and it was the best I had ever tasted. Of course my whole party had to get dessert to go as we were all too full from our dinner.

Loved it so much we went back. Food is delicious and portions are large. Had the fisherman's platter the first time and the breakfast special the second. Service was great both times. Heads up, there is a 15% service charge on $35+ dollar bills but prices are still reasonable with it.

The amount of food served was amazing my friend and I had to take some home and we used it for dinner. The prices are very low and you will get a complimentary bowl of soup. The only down side was that the main dining area is a little bit hot when packed full and the restrooms needs constant cleaning. Updated- We all know that there is an inflation going on but the prices in double t have doubled and the food quantity is not as good. The waiters are struggling to catch up with all the crowd coming in and at times they forget your complete order. Today I ordered pancakes carry out and I came home and noticed that they forgot to add the syrup. Please make sure you throughly check your order before you leave.

I haven't been to Double T Diner in a while and can say I have no intentions on going back anytime soon (or possibly ever). We were seated right away, but then basically ignored for at least 15 minutes before a waitress came and took our order. My husband ordered steak, eggs and home fries with onions. The steak was good, but the eggs came out with two slices of American cheese laid on the top. It was weird seeing it that way as opposed to mixed in the eggs. The home fries looked one stir short of mashed potatoes and had no onions. My son ordered an omelet with home fries. The omelet was ok but his home fries were overcooked. I ordered a Tuscany salad (grilled chicken with roasted veggies over greens). It comes with soup so I ordered vegetable soup. I have never seen vegetable soup look so unappealing and my son said it looked like it came from the sewer. I didn't touch the vegetable soup. My salad was ok but the chicken was overcooked so it was dry. Also, everything was incredibly bland. I only ate about two bites of the salad, brought it home, added seasoning and put it on a tortilla. This made it much better, but I shouldn't have to doctor up food that much to make it palatable. Also, the waitress never returned with our bill, so we ended up having to ask someone to get her so that we could get the bill and leave.

Took one of my kiddos here for lunch. Service was fine but they were crowded. I guess Presidents day will do that. Got a burger with bacon well done and they nailed it first time. I usually have to send my burger back to be cooked longer when I go out and purchase one. They got it spot on today!

I have been to this diner a few times over the last 6 years. Always liked the food. My most favorite are the eggs with home fries. This time I ordered Mediterranean panini sandwich with grilled chicken and french fries. Liked the Mango margarita too. The place is clean and our server was very nice. Thank you Celine! ( I hope I write her name correctly) They probably added some new items in the menu as it felt bigger. I though had not been there for more than a year. Make you happy kinda a food, as a diner should be.

We thought we would check out another Double T location since there was one in the area. My only complaint is that my food kept falling on my shirt lol forgive me I was hungry! 😋. Lisa our waitress is what made this location 5/5. She recommended the Chesapeake Benedict. I don’t eat that so I went for the double T breakfast. No complaints I am stuffed they cut no corners fresh hot food. My bff had the grilled cheese which she said was perfectly made. The bread was buttery and melted gooey cheese set off her taste buds. We full and happy! We didn’t have a hard time parking. There was no wait.

This is the 1st time we’re back dining in since the pandemic start. The restaurant feels cleaner and brighter than before, they set a plexiglass between seats in dining bench area, and the restaurant’s atmosphere also feels refreshed. Our order was: Kid’s Menu: Spiderman! It’s a crabcake with choice of side! The crabcake portion is huge for a kid’s menu and it’s super delicious! We choose greenbeans as side, it’s super soft and tasty. Triple Decker Sandwich! The portion is unbelievably big, and all ingredients are fresh and delicious! We got soup of the day; shrimp bisque, yuuum 😋 Have I mention their fries? Their fries very unique, they stay as delicious as fresh even if you warm them up as leftovers the next day. Beef Stroganoff over noodle! By reading the title, it’s already sound delicious! You can taste the freshness of beef stock within noodles with mushrooms sauce, come with choice of salad and soup. We chose salad with thousand island dressing and shrimp bisque soup! Yuuum yuuum 😋😋 The ladies restrooms are somehow super cold due to no heater working, asides from that, the restrooms are clean and spacious! We miss the food already!

Food was a serious issue today. Who makes cream of crab with a red tinge? Half and half maybe but no. Asked them to replace with MD crab, and found evidence of chicken in the soup (shredded chicken is a common replacement for crab for people with shell fish allergy). So no crab meet in the soup but did find chicken fat and bone. Could not find any crab in the cream of crab. Anyway enough about soup. My main was a gyro platter. After taking a few bites, not very outstanding at all where gyro are concerned. Pre packaged and pre cooked meat. Not off a rotisserie. But the straw that broke the camel's back was a couple hairs that I found in between the meat and the pita. See the attached pic. There was a third I found after the pic. Waiter tried to say the hair was a brush bristle. Well you have to come up with a better system if you cooking methods make hair like substance appear on the plate. Wife had Chicken tenders. Menu said 4, she got 8 half sized ones and they were cooked very dark like the grease needs changed or at least filtered. If that was the only issue we would have given a much better review. Alcohol served from a drink making "Bar" at the door that looked like a bomb hit it. By far the most unappealing area of the store. Looks like a teenager's bedroom. If you are going to have a bar that you want to be presentable to the customers, well make it presentable. There is a very nice looking dessert case with a lot of large treats. We did not partake at that point because we wanted to get out of there as fast as we could.

Great place for breakfast. The omelette was hearty and made from fresh ingredients. Really enjoyed that! The diner has the most beautiful selection of cakes and desserts around including tiramisu, Napoleon bars, decadent butter cream cakes, and so much more. The coffee was decent, but it's also nice that they serve beer. All at an affordable price with large potion sizes and great service. Also loved the retro decor though I wish the table top jute boxes actually worked. Instead, there are large screen TVs where you can catch a football game while you dine if you choose

We arrived at 9:20 pm. They were closing down, but they let us in. Liked that part. There were last 1-2 customers left, but the waitress cordially took my order, and mentioned we can keep eating until we finisheven though all the staffs except one will leave. So kudos to the servers. But coming to food, I think they didn't serve the food entirely fresh. A portion of the food felt cold. Parking spaces - more than ample.

CHECK YOUR FOOD and CHECK YOUR BILL. We haven't visited this location in about 3 years because our last visit was awful, now last night it proved that nothing has improved here after all that time. If you eat here, please CHECK YOUR FOOD. We found inedible things in our food like aluminum foil, it was a sandwich where there's no reason for that to be there INSIDE it. For some reason, the sandwich also had completely different meat mixed in around the same place we found the foil, which is extremely worrying because that makes me think we just ate someone elses leftovers. My food also had random hard pieces in it that tasted like old potatoes mixed in with new ones, which still confuses me even now. Our sandwich was taken off the bill and the server just kind of took it from us without any other type of consolation, they honestly looked at a loss for words and that does not speak well for how often this may happen here. We get ready to leave and receive our bill, which had the sandwich removed and only had an order for one person now with two drinks: $45. Sorry, what? $45?? How does that make sense? Turns out- this location puts a MANDATORY SERVICE CHARGE 15% on your bill. No matter what. You feed us an order full of presumably old food and one that even has ALUMINUM FOIL INSIDE IT which someone could had eaten and been harmed, and this place has the nerve to put a service charge on my bill?? I didn't pay you to feed us inedible food. I question the lady upfront and she says "It's tip." Mandatory tip, placed on my bill, when I had a horrible experience that no one should ever reasonably have to pay for. It is a joke. Lady even still gestured towards me adding MORE tip when I was paying at the kiosk. A chain restaurant as big as Double T has NO business putting a service charge on their bills. Pay your employees. Serve fresh food that doesn't contain foreign objects in it, and you won't have to worry about your customers not tipping. As someone who always tips even when things go bad (because a lot of the time it isn't even the servers fault, they should still get paid), this was the biggest insult ever. If you care about your health and time at all and want to have a pleasant dining experience where you aren't pointlessly robbed, do NOT eat at this location. I hate to say it but they deserve to close down. Go anywhere else, anywhere.

The fries were the only thing good. My open faced turkey sandwich was just covered in gravy whic didn’t taste good. The broccoli is just steamed by it’s self no flavor, as you can see in the picture I keep having to put butter on top. And we are missing a side dish. Customer service was also not that great from everyone except one server. Don’t remember her name but I think she was a mixed girl with freckles

Generally a pretty good diner experience. Cooks are usually pretty good. Try to order stuff that is composed fresh rather than piece together were heated up. Avoid their open face roast beef. The vegetable soup is not vegetarian though we have had a. Waiter tell us it was once. Favorite and most reliable stuff. Here is the breakfast, a lot of homeless to choose from and one of the few places to sell scrapple. I don't like there breakfast sausages. It's not a Jimmy Dean style.

Double T Diner is like every other family own Diner on the east coast. I would say there food is good and prices better. The only thing I didn't like and why I didn't give a 5 is that my waitress was rude for no reason at all!

Will try it again, nothing was bad about it but they had so many items on the menu. Where it's at so far is pastries, I wanted to try all of them but got 6 pastries. Elephant ear the size of my fat head was eaten while hiking amazing. I will rerank as I try more items on menu. (Elvis waffle is my next try) Stuffed cabbage today bland needed to add tobacco and salt, good fatty sausage links

This place is a staple for the community! They have survived the COVID from take out only to full service. I remember late night back in the 80's after clubbing this was the spot. Good food and large portions to go with friendly service.

I ordered he chesapeake eggs benedict, home fries, and grits through doordash. The food was prepared quickly but the quality was not good. The grits tasted awful and almost soapy. The home fries snd eggs benedict had absolutely no flavor. The absolute worst part was that I found a hair mixed in with my food. Completely disgusted.

I will never go to this diner again. We ordered calamari which was pretty good except it was full of grease in the bottom of the dish. I took napkins to soak up the grease because there was so much. When I showed it to the waitress she said, "sorry for the grease". When I received my entree, it was also full of grease. I ordered salmon which was cooked well but had no flavor. Use more napkins to soak up the excess grease. Not sure what's going on but now know why the place was empty on a Friday evening.

Morning hangry, drove to the other side of town for breakfast. Oh, 30mis wait, oh ok, nay. Told the next guest asked, how long, response was 30mins, inform him to take my name, he was shocked and left. Drove back to the first suggestion, Double T Diner, few cars, walk in, immediate choice of seating, friendly waitress, and WOW with 5 minutes. A full display of breakfast included not ordered hash brown, side of bacon enough for tomorrow breakfast, bonus was perfectly scrambled eggs and cheese, the best eggs ever. Next week's Sunday breakfast here I come.
