    SLOWEST SERVICE EVER! My husband and I waited almost TWO HOURS for our food and were told we would receive a discount. They only took off the appetizer. We ended up taking our food home because by the time we got it, they were closing. Terrible.

    Service: - Personally I adored our server, she was supper sweet and checked in on us many times. - I read all these comments about poor service , but can we please give them the benefit of the doubt when it comes to staff? Food: - Biscuits were delicious as always. - I had a side Caesar salad and the lettuce was wilted, I still enjoyed it but it was not fresh lettuce for sure. - We came on a Wednesday and got the Sirloin and Lobster tail meal for $20.99 what a steal! - Steak was tender and juicy, it was perfect! - Lobster was heavenly. - Sides we're all amazing, fries were nice and crispy. Overall I had a wonderful experience, the reviews really put me off, and we almost didn't come but I'm glad we did food and service we great!

    I was just tired of the traffic, trying to get back to my hotel, so I pulled over to grab a burger, but saw the Red Lobster was there and not too busy. I decided to settle in, have a good meal, and wait the traffic out. This was a really good decision! I was moving at an average speed of 2 mph on the freeway and was projected to take another hour hour and a half to get to my hotel. Red Lobster was a fun, quick diversion, from the tension of traffic. He was near my birthday, so I decided to give myself a treat and had steak and lobster with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Wow! It was so so good! It was definitely an indulgence, but the result was a decent meal while on travel, a lot less stress trying to get where I needed to go, and a more pleasant trip overall. I definitely recommend Red Lobster to anyone looking for a nice meal out.

    The service was the worse I ever experienced. It took 35 minutes to get bread. And to take our order. The server did say it was only 2 of them there. And she also was the bartender. She did her best. I will never again go there! Branch avenue Red lobster here I come. Very disappointed also with the gas we lost.

    We came to this place to have a good family dinner the time we got in the waiting area 6:45 pm and we were told time waiting 40 minutes after 30 minutes they gave us a table and we sat for another 15 minutes for our drinks and biscuits another customers got also tables after us they took theirs orders while we wait for them to take our orders they brought the food to other customers and the process of waiting next to us it was a table with 3 people they were laughing and making funny jokes and they started to mocking and making funny conversations because we were speaking Spanish and the service was more focused on them while we were still waiting for our food around 8:45 pm we decided to go because we felt the service was too long waiting and bad customer service also and we were so disappointed knowing they were customer next to us mocking us for our language we asked the manager we will like to pay for the drinks and biscuits but he said WE ARE SO SORRY FOR THE WAITING AND DON'T NEED TO PAY NOTHING, honestly we are not coming back to this restaurant we will prefer to go different restaurants where they will have good customer service and don't need to wait 2 hours just to eat

    Jan 2024 Update: Still 4 Stars. Food was great but yet again service was lacking. A bit worst this time as I had to go to the bar to ask for help after we sat for about 10 minutes without service. It wasn't busy as our waitress (when she arrived) was only serving 1 other table. The Food saved them as it was great eventhough the food was borderline drowning in sauce. I'll be back for my BDay as always. 😀 March 2023 Update: 4-star service. Food was great as always but service was lacking. I blame it on it was very late, less than an hour to closing. 6/24/2022, Gave this particular Red Lobster another chance and it was much better. Solid 4-star visit. Food and service were great. The atmosphere was a bit loud but my lobster, salmon, shrimp and calamari were delicious. Also our server was very attentative bringing refills be we finished our current drinks, checking on us and giving updates. PREVIOUS REVIEW I luv Red Loster, but today service was ehh, b/c of lack of communication thru out service. First they said the table was ready but it wasn't for it still needed clearing/cleaning. Then someone else took out order b/c our waitress was busy at that time. This I can understand b/c of how things r nowadays but what I can't accept is the waitress never taking the time to learn the order from the one who took our order. She came back to us to find out the drinks and then we had to keep reminding her about items we were missing. At the end we were still missing an item but just let it go as we were done for today. The lack of comms between staff was so evident and that could be felt and tasted in the food. It was good but not enjoyable 😒 especially since we had to keep asking. I shouldn't ever have to ask where is my 🦞 lobster at Red Lobster.

    Absolutely horrible food as well as the standard of service!!! I am surprised how this place is operational with this service and standard of food!! I ordered the kungpao noodles. The shrimp was over salted and the noodles was swimming in over sweet sauce, the men ordered 12 oz steaks but got only a 6 oz size!!! We had to wait 45 minutes for our drinks to arrive and another hour for the food to arrive!! We were too hungry and worried to send the food back to the kitchen!!! Coz,we might have to stay the night there to have the food!!! But the appetizer of squid and the fish and chips were good.

    I personally don't care for red lobster but since my friend wanted to eat there I said OK. The display of the food was not perfect and the quality of the food is overpriced. The staff was very playful not professional and vulgar language. 2 of the waitresses didn't even know if they had happy hour or not. One of the hostess dropped the utensils wrapped in a napkin on the floor and put it up and put it back onto the tray/menus in which they were carrying. One pic because it was the best part of our evening and it was made perfectly and it was delicious.

    The food was good. Waitress?????? She doesn't acknowledge her guest (like she walked past us dozens of times serving other tables) and never said "are you okay", "would you like anything", I always had to say HAYYYY, them she snatched around like we weren't even her customers. And we were having the endless shrimp SMDH!!!!

    I honestly don't understand how this restaurant has customers. I came in trying to spend some money on my staff waited by the to-go area for about 20 min, and not one person came around to greet. Walked over to the bar to try and place the order and, to my surprise, 3 staff members are hanging around eating and have a good old time. Bartender same to be upset that I wanted to spend some money at all. Last time I'll ever come to this red lobster.

    The food and drinks were great, however the waitress was going off memory instead of the trusty pen and paper, well my sister never got her fries smh. When she left she left, we literally had to get her attention because she apparently was not interested in checking on us. This Maryland location needs a bit of retraining

    On 02 April 2023, I came to this Red Lobster for my mother's birthday. We had one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The service was utterly terrible. Upon seating, the tables were not clean. We did not receive any utensils. It took nearly 15 min to get our order taken. It took another 10 min to get our bread. It took 25 min total to receive the cocktail drink we ordered. Then after nearly an hour the part of the order came out, the other part was still being prepared. The server still did not give us any utensils. She ended up giving us their takeout PLASTIC utensils. Who can eat steak with a plastic fork and knife?? In a sit down restaurant? This is absolutely ridiculous. The server barely apologized or seemed to care. No manager came to say anything. Easily one of the worst dining experiences ever in my entire life. Place deserves negative stars. Would give them negative 5 stars if I could.

    This review is of the dinner crew at this chain restaurant. The team who handles lunch here does a decent job. Overall, the restaurant looks run down and is in desperate need of repairs, deep cleaning, and new lighting. The night manager is inexperienced and seems to enjoy being a waiter and getting tips rather than organizing the crew. As a result, I waited 45 minutes for an order I placed 1 hour in advance. The pickup server was not smart enough to handle her job, I'm sorry to say. She could not remember anyone's name, wrote nothing down, was disorganized, and thus could not communicate to the cooks which customers were waiting for their food. She kept bringing out food for people we all knew weren't there, and when those folks did arrive, she had to hunt for several minutes for their bags full of ice-cold food. I ended up canceling my order and going to Red Wine instead (surprisingly delicious!). Avoid this place at night. The food smelled strange, too, and the dining area stank of old water rather than smelling of freshly cooked food.

    Went to Red Lobster to celebrate girlfriends birthday. Red Lobster was not crowded but it took about 20 minutes to seat the four of us. 2 of us ordered endless shrimp, 1 ordered flounder with an order of crab legs, the last person ordered Lobster. It took over an hour for our food to come. My order had bake potato instead of broccoli. The crab legs did not come with meal. The second orders of endless shrimp never came. It took approximately 45 minutes to get the broccoli and the crab legs that were ordered. Several other customers that came after us were served and left before us.. This was my first and last experience at the Lanham location .

    We placed our order for our entrees when our server took our drink orders (Diet Coke and a sangria). We didn’t receive our food until an hour and a half later and it was wrong and missing items. We never received refills and didn’t get them even when we asked. We waited 20 minutes for silverware and it ended up being the plastic to-go kind.

    I hardly eat out but when I do I like to support local restaurants in my neighborhood. Sadly, I thought I would enjoy the $20 crab leg special at this red lobster location. However, I was met with extremely poor service, followed by my drinks coming out when my food arrived, not to mention the brown rubber band that was in on crab legs. I’m still trying to understand how the plate my crab legs were served on was warmer than the crabs I was served! Simply put this location has potential to be so much better than this, I should of turned around when the host told me it would be a 5 minute wait when the restaurant wasn’t busy.

    RED LOBSTER sends a message that the order is ready, but you are going, we are waiting for 15 minutes, I already went in 15 minutes. I wait there in 15 minutes, I take it in 30 minutes, 10 minutes, I take it in 40 minutes, it's better if they don't deliver packages… .Today is sat..07/08/2024 same problem, nothing changed.!! Even though I came to RED LOBSTER in 15 minutes, the order is not ready, besides, you will put your car parked far away by TO GO parkingler fixed cars, you will come to the restaurant and wait 25 minutes to get the package, they don't need it better if they don't do this package because if they need the package they will find a solution They should think that they stole the time of the driver who came to pick them up, and that they couldn't get any other orders...

    Manager was rude...he was not accommodating considering we waited almost 2 hours for food. He is response was "well you ate so what do you want from me." After he never came over when I first requested...an hour before. We heard him berating the workers because customers were complaining about slow service. He shut the doors to ensure the guest got served while having an elderly couple wait over an hour to be seated. Only bright spot was the pleasant server we had who was in beauty school. We made sure to take care of her bc it wasn't her fault the kitchen was understaffed. Will not return after such nasty service.

    Absolutely delicious. The All you can eat shrimp choices are a must. The Garlic Shrimp was perfect. Everything the salmon, crab legs baked potato cooked to perfection. The cooks on 7/8/23 around 5 pm, did it right. The server, Sierra was so pleasant. She had a beautiful personality. She was from beginning to end wearing a smile. I mentioned to manager Kevin that me and husband enjoyed everything. Kevin was a great representation of the team. Introduced himself and shook hands. Wonderful ! 5 stars to Red Lobster Lanham!

    The service was terrible. I waited 45 minutes to get a drink and I was never served. Waiter comes back to say bartender was backed up. When I specifically said when I sat down I only want a drink. He never brought water but biscuits. I’m like sir where is my drink. His reply was I should have sat at the bar. After 45 mins he never came back. I left

    the soup was spoiled I don't know how they serve something like that in a supposedly prestigious restaurant like that. Talk to the manager to tell him not to serve something like that because someone could get sick. and he just said ok i will fix the problem. Not even 25% gave us anything. The waitress asked for bread twice. it was slow. the food took forever to arrive. I never go back. trash. I left with a stomach ache. I was disgusted to taste that sour soup

    10/22- Sat at the bar, had a great meal & a couple of drinks. Antoinette the bartender was awesome. Spoke with the GM. Highly recommended, I will be back. Thank you for the great service. Empty glasses! 6/23- Sat at the bar again for a couple of drinks. Shae, the bartender, was great. I ordered the a Long Island Ice Tea, B52 & Shrimp. Highly recommended, I truly enjoyed myself.

    I went to this place on June 23rd 2022. It is in a great location. Everything else is horrible. We got there in time before they were closing, the management seemed more huffed about our visit than the staff. We dined in the coleslaw tasted horrible and old. I and another person gave back the slow, the waitress apologetic. Everything else was fairly well except for the mouse that creeped from under my feet and went to another table. Looking at some of the dishes I have to wonder if it is the dish or if it is mouse dropping. After the waitress realized I saw the mouse she was apologetic again and said that they were supposed to be getting an exterminator. With this being a restaurant they should have had an exterminator there before serving food and how long have they been using the very polite excuses and still serving food. Had I seen the mouse at the beginning I would not have ordered any food. I will not be returning. First of all it is the customers who keep a business going secondly I do not want to eat at a place that possibly might have trampled over.

    The food was not good at all . Everything was bland . I can say the appetizers were good we got the lobster dip and calamari all the entrées were not good at all. The utensils were dirty the staff did not care about anything at all and the servers were soooooo slow . This used to be me and my families favorite place to come now I don’t know what happened.

    Came here on a Monday evening, our server took about 10 minutes to greet us. -Our drinks were wrong, I ordered a regular lemonade and got a strawberry. My boyfriend ordered a deep sea lobsterita and he got a classic marg with the server saying they have multiple lobsteritas and he needed to specify. She insinuated that he misordered when on our bill she rang in the wrong item. -It took her 10/12 minutes to check back in and by then I had eaten my (wrong) food due to no biscuits. It also took 5/7 minutes to get the bill and longer for a box. -We didn't receive complimentary biscuits until I requested it, which was AFTER our food arrived. -I ordered extra linguini portion for my pasta which I didn't receive and was almost charged for extra sauce. As someone who's lactose intolerant, I was unaware of the extra sauce and didn't take the extra lactose pills needed for that amount. So if I end up sick I will be back. -After talking to the manager we asked for compensation for the inconvenience and he just took the sauce off the bill, which should've been automatic. As a server and my partner a service manager, this service was just bad. We paid 65$ for a bad experience and it's appalling that we couldn't even get a discount or even free bread. Our orders weren't written down or repeated back to us. I will not be back to this location, because there's no way we had valid complaints and were more or less brushed off. I would rather drive 30minutes to Annapolis before experiencing poor service and poor management.

    My mother in law went to this location, they vandalized and broke the windows to her van while she and her grandkids were eating. The location is super sketchy from what we see now it wasn’t like this before. Don’t go eat here, they don’t even have cameras on the side where they could have seen what happened. If you don’t want to come home with a vandalized car don’t go there, I would never trust to go again. Ghettos thief’s stole my stepsons laptop not caring this was a family van.
