Drive thru and convenient but every time i go here they only process one order at a time. So expect long waits. They won’t even take your order until the car in front of you gets their food, pays, and drives away. As far as the food goes, it’s mediocre. Most of the magic that cafe Rio was 10 years ago is gone. Commercialized and corporatized. Rapid expansion has driven this franchise to the ground. I got chips and salsa and all the fresh salsa was brown and the lid was under a lot of pressure. I’m sure the cups were filled who knows when and left in a fridge until someone made the mistake of ordering chips and salsa. It is no doubt the worst pico de gallo I’ve ever tasted. Steer clear of this cafe rio and if you can steer clear of all cafe rios from now on. It’s just not worth it.

I used to love going to Cafe Rio! The last 2 times we ordered the food have been subpar at best. The lettuce was in such big pieces that it's ridiculous!! They don't make the food the way we order it, and they put hardly any meat or rice in our salads. If that's not bad enough, we found 4 lettuce head cores in the 2 salads we ordered had a total of 5 in them. It's totally unacceptable! The burrito we ordered didn't have the sauce we ordered and paid for on it. Sadly, I hope everyone reading this DOES NOT go to Cafe Rio in Woods Cross!! The staff are rude as well!!

First off the wait times are insane, waited in the drive up for 11 minutes before someone helped us at the speaker (not the window) on top of that the rice is never cooked, like ever, tonight was the worst most of the time is still a bit hard but this time it's like they poured it straight from the box into our food. And then there is ordering extra of anything, you pay for extra but they don't even give you a full serving of the regular size let alone ask for extra, we have tried multiple times to order extra meat in our burritos, but most of the time is almost non existent. We love Cafe Rio in our house but this location has been bad since it opened, someone needs to go do quality control before this location becomes a loss in revenue.

We have always liked this café Rio location since they opened. The food is quality. The service is fast and polite. But, tonight‘s experience was way different. As you can see from my picture of the vegetarian salad, I ordered there were lots of black beans. There was very little rice and very little lettuce, probably only half of what is usually in my salad. My husband ordered extra cheese on his burrito, which he did not receive even though the receipt said that. I am hoping that this is a one off situation, and that our next visit will be better.

Cafe Rio is typically one of our favorite places, but this location did not meet our typical expectations. Typically, the food tastes great and is served quickly. Not here. It seemed the whole staff was more interested in polishing and cleaning equipment than preparing our food. When we did get our food, the order was wrong and the taste was foul. What a disappointment. We will not be going back to this location. I think it might be that this one deviated from the tried and true Cafe Rio experience of having people prepare your food as you proceed through the line. Instead, customers must use a kiosk (which didn't recognize our bonus points) and forced to wait until someone feels up to making their order. The original model is an unbeatable standard.

Traveling through from Austin TX on our way to Jackson Hole WY and got off the interstate to gas up and grab lunch. Saw Cafe Rio and decided to try Mexican grill food in Utah. Well, nice try to serve like Chipotle, however, our order was not right, quesadilla instead of enchilada that was ordered, missed serving the queso with the chips, salsa, and queso. Manager made a fair attempt to make it right by providing the queso at no cost. Young bus helper was the brightest experience here as he came by our seats several times and asked if we needed anything else as he went about cleaning.

Okay so I don't know what else to say, I don't know if I should be amazed at such a track record or so disappointed. But I swear, every. single. time. We order here something is not right. This time was crazy! Asked for shredded lettuce for a salad and received whole lettuce and not just that but it was hardly cut like you might have just tossed the lettuce whole. Second I asked for a STEAK burrito and got sweet pork, and with black beans when I asked for pinto. I am not sure what's entirely wrong with this location but I'd avoid it, drive 5 minutes, and go to the one on 5th south instead. The food tastes good its hard to screw it up, but the fact that EVERY time we go to this location our food is wrong or poorly prepared. Last time we went asked for the nachos and got the bottom of the bag. So disappointed in such a great chain. Sucks to suck.

Cafe Rio has been one of our favorite places to eat, but the last several times at the Woods Cross location they have gotten my order wrong and the flavor is not the same. I’m not sure why a burrito ordered with black beans and mild sauce consistently comes out the take out window with pinto beans and medium sauce. Every time. I hope they can figure it out. We’re going to take a break from eating at this location.

Absolutely horrible service, i’m appalled at how rude these people are here. I wouldn’t recommend ever coming to this location. FYI our order was completely wrong, and nobody would fix it for us and make it right. Worst service of my life.

This was the second time I had disappointing service at this location. The first time I had an issue with the computer ordering system inside the store (it doesn't have staff taking orders). We waited forever for our food, only to find out it never submitted on the kiosk. When we asked for help, no one was around, and no one offered. The second time, I selected the curbside pick-up option, and once parked no one delivered it. Management should either take that option off the app, or remind employees to check. Also, many times I'm not given a receipt (I needed it to redeem my points on the app). I recommend only using the drive through at this location, otherwise go to the Cafe Rio off 500 S.

I ordered Nachos for pick up. I received nachos with only beans, meat, and queso. My wife’s tostada salad didn’t come with a tortilla. Haven’t been very happy with this location lately, and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better.

Presentation was that of hog slop! I will never try to eat here again. Paid 18 bucks for a salty dish of beans and cilantro. TEN THUMBS DOWN!!!!! Would NOT RECOMMEND!! Only getting that star because it’s mandatory in order to submit review.

Worst salad ever! This is not the first time. I won't be paying for such low quality product there again. There was one chunk of sweet pork, but they made up for it with mounds of cilantro. Paid extra for a quarter container of sour cream. I don't know how anybody could care less about what they put together. Maybe they're saving the good stuff for themselves. What a huge disappointment.

This was a great location at first, but now it seems as though no one cares. Every time we go, the order is incorrect, I was so frustrated last time that I went inside to ask them to fix it. I couldn't get anyone's attention. There were five employees chatting at the drive-through area, but they couldn't break away from their conversation to help. I gave up and walked out. Don't bother with the surveys. No one has ever gotten back to me. We will not be back. So disappointing.

This location is not set up for service. The kiosk order system could not handle gift cards and the staff is mostly unavailable to assist. You cannot place an order with anyone inside, only drive through or on a kiosk. The burritos were lower quality than what I expect at a Cafe Rio, and the service was non-existent. Drive elsewhere or go to a competitor.
