Great food, people, entertainment, environment, love the peppery taste for those peppery lovers and non-peppery taste for those people who doesn't like spicy. Second time and its lovely. My friend told me about this restaurant long time ago however I didn't had the time but after my move to a new flat on Friday and very tired to cook plus working I wanted home made food and Banana restaurant has given that to me. I will go there for my birthday Wednesday. I went there yesterday and back again today. 😊😘

Staff were warm and friendly. When my friend and I asked roughly when the DJ would arrive they were nice enough to keep us updated when they heard. The Jollof, plantain and fried fish was out of this world. Later on in the evening I had planned on only staying for a few hours of the DJ set. But the music, people and atmosphere was superb. We left at nearly 3am! It was an amazing evening of good food, company, dancing and drinks. I would highly recommend!

Last I came here the service was almost exemplary. Decor was a bit naff back then too. Fast forward three years. Decor is good. The food was great when it EVENTUALLY arrived. Our order took well over four hours to arrive. I ordered my partners food around 8pm. It turned up at 12:25am. Not impressed. And they say we’re supposed to support our own businesses!!! I don’t think so.

Worst African restaurant as far as I am concerned. Ordered food for delivery and was told to expect it in 45minutes instead got it after 3hours. When delivery driver got to us the woman from the restaurant then called and said we had to pay extra £10 to the driver because he was a taxi as they don't have a driver and this wasn't mentioned in the beginning. Paid the extra charge hoping to enjoy a delicious meal but how wrong were we. Food was filled with stones and sand, some parts of the jollof rice was burnt and other parts undercooked. The nkwobi was just 90% bones and barely any flesh. And the seasoning was bland. Specifically asked for spicy food but nothing of the sort happened. The plate of egusi soup was upside down when delivered ergo all the soup poured into the plastic bag it came in smh. Biggest mistake of my life, never returning there and wish I could give -0 stars.

Just like another reviewer said, we are expected to support our own businesses? BUT what do we do when our own people run the business with no care or sense? 3 occasions I have been to this place and not once have they met my expectations. 1st occasion which was on a Saturday, arrived at 4pm, and our food was not ready till 7pm, OK lesson's learned. 2nd occasion, Friday night, ordered 2 hrs in advance prior to getting there, still took an 1 hour 30 mins of waiting for the food to be served. 3rd occasion which is the final straw for me, Sunday evening, left Heathrow and gave them a nice friendly call to place my order, and was told the food would be ready in 45mins, I made it clear to the man that took my order that I d really like to come in and not have to wait before I got my food. It took just over an hour to drive from Heathrow to the restaurant, got there and it was clear they had not even started preparing the food. This was at least 9pm, the man that was catering to the customers was clearly frustrated with the kitchen staff, I asked him what has happened to my order and when it will be ready and if there was no hope of it being ready I can start leaving, I saw him clearly expressing his frustration at the two ladies in the kitchen and he ended up coming out to tell me to leave as there is no hope my food would ever be ready. No apology nothing. They hide behind the excuse that they cook from fresh but this is no way to run a business. I think its best to just convert this business to a Beer parlour instead of trying to run a restaurant. 3 very painful experience, its hard to rate the quality if the food as the service is just sore and sour. never again.

I'm giving you a one star just to track when you next open. I've just driven half an hour only to find out that you are closed contrary to your opening times on Google (6:52PM on Monday). Can the business owner please ensure the upcoming times are up to date. Then I'll return and give you a befitting review after patronising.

This little gem is absolutely beautiful. It kept popping up on Google search and with late closing, 3:00am, went along. From the minute you enter, you are greeted warmly. Service is at the bar only, so we went and ordered, where everything was explained to us. Food is cooked fresh, so spice can be adjusted to your taste. The owner is super pleasant, and his bar staff equally as helpful. We ordered yam porridge, with fish, Ogbono with pounded yam, and a pepper soup. Every spoonful is filled with love. That's how authentic and delicious it was. Bar staff are on point, clearing tables. DJ was excellent. I don't think I sat down once.

It was a night with some friends, the food was amazing, we all loved it, but the service was very poor and slow, our order came 10 to 15 minute inbetween each of us, making us eat together each one the came through. The restroom was terribly messed up and the cleaners kept on mopping the restaurant floor every one seconds, leaving where the actual clean is needed. Music selection for that night was rubbish, I said that night because I ve been before and music was ok.

Previously we bought food which was delicious but too hot for our children. But because it was delicious so we wanted to give another try. After being told that I could order our food mild if I call in advance, I phoned up and placed an order for almost £60 worth of food. We were told it would be ready in 45 mins so we drove to the restaurant to collect in this time. After waiting a further 2 HOURS!!!! And asking several times and reassured that the food would be mild. We have driven all the way back to old street we have discovered that not only isn’t the food mild... it’s too hot to eat at all. I personally like my food hot. But this is inedible. Especially for my children. My daughter is autistic and all she wanted was some jollof rice. She is now very upset after a long wasted drive and waiting in the car for hours. Only to then burn her mouth on this ridiculous food. Never again. I feel as if they have made it extra hot for a laugh or something. As it doesn’t even make sense for food to be this level of heat.. especially when we specifically requested mild and had to wait all that time.

Superb Nigerian restaurant in the heart of Tottenham! We went on a Tuesday evening so it wasn't busy but there was still a nice buzz about the place! The food was fantastic, as it has always been since I've been coming here, and the service was impeccable too, (shout out to our waitress for the evening, Chidinma)! Can't wait to visit again sometime soon!

On Deliveroo it says the shop is open whereas online it says it’s not. I ordered at 10:53am and it said my driver was going to the restaurant and never heard from them again I had to message the manager and ask what’s going on I was waitin for my food untill 2:50pm for them to tell me they don’t know what’s happening and they can’t give me a time my food will come so I just cancelled my order and had then but the money that I payed on my Deliveroo credit this was my first time ordering from here and I will never order from here again this is not a good look. DISGUSTED

.This use to be my favorite resturant once I get into london from the Caribbean Island. Great food, cold Nigeria beer (star) and good music. An experience turned everything around. I came and requested for a vegetable soup and what I got was a weaken yellowish brown leavey soup with gritty stone feeling in the mouth. I called the service boy to taste it which he did and maintains that it's vegetable soup. After much argument he agreed that it was dried bitter leave and thats why it looks and tasted so. Well I never visited again partly because I stopped visiting that part of UK. However my friend who lives around says it's a one off thing and that things are back to standard. Will be visiting again soon and hoping to change my rating.

The service was appalling. Food took hours to come out to be precise mine took 3 hrs..and when it came out it was cold. I ordered yam and fish. Other party guests had the same problem. The only food that came out an hour after we ordered was swallow and vegetable and that was tasty and hot. The fastest service we received was drinks. The manager/owner was rude and lacked customer service etiquette. At the time I was leaving ..11.45pm,people from my table were just getting their food 4 hrs later
