Today, Saturday 9 September, my husband, Ian and I enjoyed the most fantastic lunch here! Ian had Goan Goat curry and I had Butter Chicken. We both reckon each dish was probably the very best and definitely extremely delicious Indian cuisine we had ever tasted! You could hear the angels sing!! Just magnificent! We don't live in the area however we have promised ourselves that we must return to savour and enjoy such a wonderful feast again. Truly recommend this superb restaurant!! The young lady looking after us was a true delight in every way possible. In summary a really lovely experience!

We always have a good meal at Spice29 whether we dine in or take away. I use to travel to India few times a year and i can say some of the dishes take me back there. Lots of flavour and always good quality ingredients. Definitely recommend for Indian lovers!

Enjoyed our meal here last night, definitely the tastiest Indian food we have ever eaten. Started with the mixed entree, followed with the Butter Chicken and the specials Goat dish.All the flavours were amazing. Best Garlic Naan ever, so light . The young man that served us was absolutely delightful. Our new go to Indian restaurant, looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.

My boyfriend and I just ate dinner here and only spent just over an hour in store, my boyfriends first time trying Indian food, we stuck with the basics butter chicken, garlic, cheesy garlic and roti bread/naan and are very pleased with the service, food was presented quickly, the food was hot and the overall taste was a 10/10, the service was amazing the boy serving us had an amazing attitude and was incredibly polite, took our order efficiently and made no mistakes, even offered to take a photo of us when I was photographing my partner. Incredibly pleased with this night and defiantly will be coming back!!!! Thank you for a great night.

We stumbled upon this place on our visit to Woy Woy and thought we will give it a try. And I am so glad that we did. We were craving for Goan food and our prayers were answered in the form of Spices 29. Selma and Nelson are 2 wonderful people, the place is so cozy and has Mario Miranda illustrations, food is so delicious and the staff is helpful. With all this how could we resist from visiting again, so we drove from Sydney just to eat this delicious food. They surely made us miss home a little less.

Had their menu delivered in our mailbox and decided to go on a whim. What an absolute delight. Delicious all round. Food was fantastic, service was outstanding. Will be back 100%!

Great Indian restaurant in the heart of Woy Woy. The service is really friendly, attentive and accommodating. They create a really welcoming atmosphere. The food is also excellent in particular the Goan Fish Curry and Butter chicken. Our kids loved it too. We will be coming back.

Honestly, top 5 best curries I've had in my life hands down, and I'm an Englishman who has been to many fantastic Indian restaurants in my time. It's abundantly clear the owner and the chefs really care about producing fantastic, fresh and tasty food. The reviews are real, this place is superb.

The reviews say it all, this place dishes out extremely tasty food. We had the mixed entree followed by the goat curry special which melted in your mouth, the special seafood curry with prawns and the tandoori lamb cutlets. So so delicious, especially wrapped in garlic naan it’s BYO so you can take your favorite wine to drink with this delicious food.

Quick dinner here during the week. Almost empty when I arrived but plenty of tables were reserved and the place started to fill up pretty quickly. Ordered butter chicken, goat jalfrezi and some garlic naan along with a beer (Kingfisher). Service was fantastic from a young lad whose name I should have got but didn't. I assume he is the son or relative of someone else that works there. He was polite, knowledgeable, friendly and really confident. I noted later he was also very aware of tables that needed clearing or other attention. So good to see from someone so young. (Note: my beer was served by an adult, not him!) The food was fresh and tasty and in just the right sized portions. The butter chicken was maybe a little sweet for me but still great. As good as the food was (and I'll definitely be back again), the standout for the evening was the young waiter. A great asset to the restaurant! Definitely recommend eating here. I've been a few times but this is the first time I remembered to review.

We had been here with my family for lunch. We had two elders with us and a child of 4 years and my husband. We enjoyed some excellent authentic Goan cuisine. We had to preorder the Sorpotel and it was finger licking good. The Pomfret with Rechaad masala was simply mouth watering. We also order the Goan Fish Curry which was equally good. Nelson welcomed us with some Cashew Fenny since he knew we were goans which made our day:) It was definitely a worthwhile trip from Hornsby to Woy Woy.

"Spices 29 Goan Indian Restaurant" is a true Indian gem! The owner's warmth and recommendations added a personal touch and i can't forget to mention that he offered special wine from Goa (India) as a complementary drink to my father to pay his regards to my Dad as he served in the "Indian Army" . The staff's kindness and responsiveness made our both visits special. The food was an explosion of flavors, and the service was impeccable. We visited without a reservation and were made to feel very welcome . The service was excellent and we were given a break between starters and main dishes . The food was delicious , tasty and perfectly spiced. Definitely recommend.

This is our 4th visit on the coast and this restaurant has never been disappointing Every visit makes us feel want for more Don’t forget to try the new Gulabi Chicken Tikka (Mouth watering). Exceptional food and equally good service. Definitely worth a drive from Sydney.

Long time diners and frequent delivery users. A great meal, superb service, attentive but unintrusive. Great knowledge of their dishes. Always helpful when choosing dishes and taking about flavours. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Spice 29 is our favourite restaurant and best curry house on the coast or even NSW For my 8 year old sons birthday I gave him a choice of where to eat for dinner. He chose Spices 29 The service is outstanding and the food is exquisite. We try to eat here at least once a fortnight and always leave happy & content. Thank you

Hubby and I ordered delivery and once again it was the best freshest Indian food we've had. Nelson and his team always go above and beyond. Keep up the great work. 10 out of 10. We'll done 29 spices.

Food is Excellent but service for home delivery is abysmal. The second time, the food took over 2.5 hrs to be delivered, almost 1 hr beyond the window suggested. This time they gave us a 20 minute window and tried to deliver the food 45 minutes before when we were not home. Refused to deliver again.

The food was absolutely delicious, capturing the authentic flavors of Goa. The ambience was fantastic, What truly added to the charm was the inclusion of Mario Miranda cartoons, which added a touch of whimsy and nostalgia Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving an authentic Goan food.
