Just had a lovely lunch at the King's Mills. Fantastic service and warm welcome, lovely clean pub. Definitely recommend the cheese and bacon burger!

Won £40 in Bingo so decided to treat me and the other half to lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were planning to go further afield but decided to walk to the King's Mills as it is local to us. Food did not disappoint. I had the lamb shank with mash and seasonal greens which I'm pleased to say were NOT peas and broccoli like some places do and pass it off as seasonal greens. The lamb was tender and the mash buttery. Other half had a steak cooked the way he likes it. Really enjoyed will definitely be back. Thank you

Though we would give this pub a go after driving past for over 20 years. Absolutely loved it service and staff amazing. Food was perfect 8 clean plates no issues portions fab amazing. Loved it so much booked to go again tomorrow for Sunday lunch.

We went for our works do, 8 of us. We had the festive menu. The food was lovely, staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help. I had the French onion soup. It was delicious, Turkey dinner with all the trimmings and Sticky toffee pudding and custard. All was superb. Will go back! Thank you!!

Avoid when the football is on !! Booked a table for 2 and when phoning was asked the question if we was bothered about watching the football to which I replied no and was told that was fine there would be plenty of room in the restaurant. On arrival, was clearly very busy cause of the football match, was told to go to our table which only had 1 chair. So therefore I went back to the bar to enquire about the other missing chair to be rudely ignored as they only seemed bothered about serving the football punters. Fair enough if you go to watch a game of football in the local boozer but treat all customers the same. Absolutely appalling and pure ignorance

Took the whole family for a Sunday lunch. Lovely choice on the menu, we all opted for something different & everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The roast potatoes were delicious, definitely had the home cooked feel throughout the meal. Will be returning to try curry night for sure.

Love coming to the Kings Mill. Atmosphere is relaxing. Staff are very welcoming and Kia served us this evening and nothing was too much for her. Extremely polite and very easy to talk to and friendly. The food is delicious. Went there tonight for our 28th Wedding Anniversary. Party of 5. All food served at the same time, very fresh and hot.

We had a delicious evening meal, scampi chips and peas with fresh lemon and tartare sauce, hanging chicken kebab with chips onion rings and dip, our waitress was the lovely Kia, we had a very pleasant dining experience ❤️

The Kingsmill is now our go to eating place in our local area. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The staff are really lovely and go over and above. Highly recommend the steak, but have tried other dishes too which are just as good. Definitely our new regular.

Just arrived to the pub a nice drink for our anniversary. However I would recommend to avoid this place at all costs. Waitress was serving all the time same people. Several people arrived after us and have been served with drinks and meals. We got attention of the waitress 3 times however 50 minutes later nobody came to even take our order. Absolutely disgusting service being ignored while others could enjoy the meals. Shame it ruined our anniversary drinks and we have left extremely disappointed. Please avoid at all costs.

went last week and wow was best meal me and my wife has ever had out at a pub it was fantastic then we went last night and the meals was so different northing was the same starters was totally different to wat came out last time totally different starter and different chips was so disappointing and at the same price will not be going back

This is a very nice pub/restaurant, the meals are excellent, for a Marstons pub the meals are really cheap, well worth a visit. The staff are friendly and helpful, I've never been made so welcome until I came here. Sky sports on here too. Outdoor seating area is good with artificial grass. Good selection of beers and it's even got Hobgoblin on draught, happy days....

All covid regulations were followed, felt safe. Service was very friendly and accommodating. My grandsons aged 2 and 4 enjoyed their meal. My son had the sizzling lamb chops and he really enjoyed them He said the quality of the lamb was superb, especially for the price. Would definitely visit again.

Friendly staff. Waited nearly 2 hours for our food but was told when we arrived that there would be a 40 minute wait on food which was acceptable. When I went to the bar to ask where our food was we were told there was a problem with the ticket machine in the kitchen and our order hadn't gone through. Kids were tired after waiting so long so we got a refund and left. I'm sure the food would have been nice if it arrived.

Took a risk and invited the family for lunch having not been here before. We were all very pleasantly surprised! Friendly service, the food was really good all round and not badly priced at all. And dog friendly! Big bonus for my mum with her clingy puppy 🤣 the young lad who served us on his first day did a great job too! Would recommend!

We came across the The King’s Mills just by driving past. The food was really very good, all very fresh and cooked to perfection. Warm welcome by the people and overall a relaxed environment.

We came to Wrexham for a family birthday and stayed with our son for the weekend. As we had our 7 month old puppy with us, our son enquired about bringing him and subsequently booked a table for Father's Day. On the morning of our booking, more of our family wanted to join us before we drove the 3 hours back home. The management were extremely accommodating with this and forewarned us that because there were 11 of us, the food wouldn't be able to come out at the same time, due to staffing. I believe the young lad serving us was on his very first shift and once my Aunt found out, she decided to give him a few friendly tips. He did brilliantly anyway and I hope she didn't put him off 😆 The place was lovely and clean, the food was delicious and portion sizes were more than ample. I don't think anyone was disappointed with what they chose.

Upon arrival we had to wait a few minutes to be told just sit decide what you'd like to eat then order at the bar. I asked what the curry of the day was as that's what I fancied. The server reeled off what was available and made a point of telling us it was all cooked fresh and home made. So I was excited for a good cooked meal. We got our drinks and sat back at the table. The Pepsi was flat it had the smallest amount of fizz possible. What came out was not a home cooked meal at all. The chicken didn't taste like good quality chicken at all it was a completely quick microwave meal. The poppadom tasted weird, as well as stale. I ate just because I was hungry. At no point did the server come and do a check back to ask how the meal was until we had all finished and she was clearing the plates away. It was a very quick all OK, good and she was gone with the plates. I was very disappointed with the meal and the service to be fair, it was 1 server, taking orders, making drinks and running food. Unfortunately I won't be eating here again nor would I recommend to friends or family.

My partner and I had Sunday lunch here today and the food was delicious. Staff very polite and friendly. Another bonus was being able to bring our dog. Will definitely return. Outstanding!

We called in on a weekday lunchtime and were very warmly greeted We ordered drinks and asked about the lunch menu and we were very well looked after! There were plenty of tables in a well organised and very clean pub. Lunch arrived and was really well presented and delicious too, 😋 Staff were very attentive and super friendly. Can definitely recommend a visit.
