Decent little hide out, good value pints and a decent pool table. Caters for the town games, would recommend.

I look forward to a visit on a weekly basis when I can enjoy a drink ,whether it be beer or a drop of red wine, and enter into conversation on most topics, from sport to changing in society. Or alteratnately a quiz or game of darts or snooker with fellow members,it offers a friendly atmosphere which can be enjoyed by all.

Local boozer, local people. There will be no trouble here.....

The Lager Club is a membership organisation where membership costs £3 to join for one year. Events are organised throughout the week. Sunday lunches are particularly delicious. Payment is by cash only.

It's a little worn but the Loos are clean, the place is warm, the staff are friendly and the drinks are not expensive so providing you're not put off by the decor it's OK.

Lovley people only popped in for a couple stayed till closing little gem some clever discussions
