It says its got 5 star hygiene rating on the window but I know that's not true. They did have just 2 stars and they gave the place a good clean and changed the name from queen's garden to hungry Inn and got a 5 star sticker. slowly things started going back down hill and I looked on line and they have a 3 star hygiene rating but are still showing the 5star sticker. Now I hate prawns and every Chinese dish I have had from there like chicken chow mein or special fried rice and the sauce had a heavy taste of prawns and I couldn't eat my food. You can get a king prawn chow mein and you tell them no prawn on the special fried rice they must use the same sauce for every type of chow mein and use the same oil took cook the fried rice in which has just had prawns cooked in it. The chips are all ways reheated that's why they are always hard and cooked to a crisp and sometimes luke warm so they are lucky I'm giving them a 3 because I have had an occasional curry and chips which had freshly cooked chips and a curry that wasn't about to congeale. If you don't mind your Chinese food tasting of prawn then go for it but just have a look at the chips before you order any English food.

Ordered tonight opened and instantly regretted it. Not sure what happened to this place but it was like some amateur just cooked it up from their own kitchen at home. Mushy brown chow mein, barely any meat, no vegetables what so ever, bland weird taste with an extreme amount of salt product. It was just a huge disappointment. So perhaps an amateur could do better after all! Won't ever be back again.

Special chow mein was below average - Mushrooms were undercooked and the entire dish lacked real authentic flavour. Chicken curry was a bit bland aswell. Won't be ordering again. The Google review rating is bang on to be fair, thought we would try our luck.

Really need to do something about them chips.. they taste like they been there for weeks on end.. like this chippy was amazing few years back best chips best everything since it's been took over absolutely vile food.. chips are always black and taste vile the gravy is watery the curry is tasteless I'm shocked you have not gone out of business yet. Won't be getting again give you so many chances to sort food out but never have so last time I will order anything but drinks

Ordered food off of wrexham eats come to 40quid, was left waiting 2 hours and had to ring up and ask where it was. Got told the road was closed so driver had to drive round and then the woman said its only just ready so was left confused as to the real reason for the delay. Got the food in the end just left on the door step no apology or anything. Food turned out to be terrible would not recommend and definitely won't be ordering from there again.

Charged £6 for delivery! Said we were 6.9 miles away when we are only just under 4 miles away. Total rip off. Won't be using again! Also if we were 6 miles away the menu states £1 for under 3 miles then £1 per mile afterwards so still ripping us off'

Won’t be ordering from here again. Food wasn’t bad but unfortunately arrived extremely late and was stone cold. When calling the restaurant to get an update on where food was they clearly lied saying it had left with the drive - didn’t arrive for another hour

Have ordered & enjoyed meals from here for many years but when we rang last night to say our food was cold I was told it couldn't be as it was only done 5mins ago. I said again it was cold & we were having to microwave it to be told it wasnt & if i wanted to complain i was to ring back today & speak to manager. After spending£35+ why should I..if I said it's cold then its cold. No more orders from us!!!

Disappointed rang 8.12 for a delivery they sed a hour and a half it’s now 10.17 and still not here there’s not answering there phones n it’s not Evan a big order

Order in complete asked for lightly batted fish and it was over cooked and dry orderd chicken balls in batter and they for got the gravy it was so dry. The chips were over cooked and hard. They said they give a discount next time as order was 5 miles from the shop so not good customer service as shop should checked the order i wont be useing them again as was a family meal trat at my auntie house in gresford and half the food went in the bin very disapointed as in past has been lovely big let down for me so not happy at all 🙁

Cold food. Delivery. The driver didnt deliver. Just left £35 of food on our door step. Ive done food delivery. You dont leave it there.. cold rice...... food poison. Phoned them. They didnt want to know. This hungry inn is the worst ever. .

Got to say pie mash and chips and gravy absolutely delicious absolutely delicious Customer service by the girl in the pink top absolute gem will be coming back for more.

Ordered from here a few times for collection and it’s always delicious, hot and also super reasonably priced for large portions of food. Staff are always friendly when we pick up, can’t complaint

Food is great but delivery once again shocking considering delivery cost is £4.50. According to Wrexham eats food was ready for delivery over 50min ago and still not delivered. Not going to get food from you again because of the shamefull delivery service

Lovely food, happy staff just wish they would take card payments

Terrible food once again. The chips are so over cooked it’s like eating scratchings, they have very little potato content. All other fried or battered foods are also over cooked and Taste strongly of cooking oil which takes over the taste.
