I have been coming to Wroclaw a lot over the years and this bridge is for me a gate way to the island here!. Loads of people have passed over this bridge and for some they have leaved a padlock, representing their love for each other. On my recent trip here the Christmas lights look very beautiful. I would recomend visting here and maybe place a padlock for your love one ❤ ❤

You will enjoy walking the area around this bridge. Try not to do the cliche attaching of locks to it. After crossing the bridge there is an picturesque dual tower church down the path. It's one of the iconic locations in Wroclaw.

Tumski is every photographer's muse! It's a love at first sight. So mystical, so charming, so aesthetic. Words won't describe this place. The oldest inhabited part of Wrocław is full of art and architecture. Do take a walking tour here if you're in Wrocław. Lamplight is a treat to watch.

So special walking over it at dusk on a Christmas evening, the music, the flowing sound of water underneath, the lights from impressive churches surrounding it...

Don't put a lock on it! It's not good, the sign tells you the truth. Engineering beauty, entrance to beauty. Not really advertised as a tourist spot but we'll worth the visit.

Beautiful pedestrianised bridge that's more than 130 years old, popular with tourists as it connects the old town with cathedral island and provides great views. It's a good spot to watch the gas lights being lit at dusk

Beautiful bridge, the view is amazing too, you should visit the religious neighbourhood of Ostrów Trumski (you can also go up the tower of the Archikatedra) However, there are no locks anymore, they’re not authorized and are removed because they corrode the bridge

it is a beautiful small park with fountains, and a nice restaurant when 2 people are in love. one of them buys an old padlock, or they buy a special padlock in the shape of a heart. and have it engraved with there names. and the worlds I love you. or something similar. one of them locks the padlock on the bridge, the other person. takes the key, and drops it into a stream or river near to where they live. so the lock ,is there forever

Charming and beautiful bridge marking the crossing onto cathedral island. Hard to believe that once there was several tonnes in weight of padlocks, the bridge has been restored well. The love locks I believe are now prohibited (thankfully)

Beautiful bridge to the Chruch Island. It was a great location to visit. Locks have been remo ed since they were damaging the bridge, but you can see people are adding them again.

It is a very, very pretty, quirky courtyard on open air but at the same time very intimate and inside of the restaurant is very nice too. Very tasty food, nice drinks, staff was very polite and helpful. Unlike many other places, this restaurant has unisex toilets and is quite unusual too. It's definitely one of the must-see in Wroclaw,

This bridge is like any other bridge only... nothing special about it but the walk through this bridge was very peaceful and sarene...the view of the river was calm.... earlier there were locks on the bridge, which were removed in 2019 after the bridge was not able to take...but you can see the locks near the side walk now.

I like the place very much. The christmas lights and the guitarists presence make the ambiance very beautiful... A peaceful street from the bridge tto the church. The church which was constructed more than 800 years may faced plenty of historical moments. I love the place

Wroclaw's Canals: A Historical Journey 🚤 Wroclaw's canals offer a unique historical experience. These waterways, once vital trade routes, wind through the city, showcasing its rich history 🏰. Along the way, you'll encounter over 100 charming bridges, like the iconic Tumski Bridge with its love locks 🔒❤️ and the elegant Grunwaldzki Bridge 🌉, each with its own tale to tell. Exploring Wroclaw by boat is a must-do for history enthusiasts 🌊📜!

It's very picturesque. Tumski Bridge is also known as bridge of love. The story behind this is that when a couples in a relationship put their lock in the bridge plus throwing the keys in the river, they believe that their relationship will always remain intact. Recently, the government has to remove all the locks because the weight of the bridge was exceeded and the fear that bridge will collapse. Nonetheless, the view here is beautiful.

it's just a bridge on which you can take a couple of photos from different angles. If at this moment there is no sun, then everything looks gray and dull.

The Tumski Bridge is such a romantic and peaceful place. Go in the evening when street performers are there and the sun is going down and the lights are switching on. This was one of mine and my girlfriend’s favourite place in Wrocław.

Awesome view of the river, the church and the city. Can be visited anytime but recommended to visit in the evening as well.

Beautiful bridge over the Oder covered in locks, leading to the cathedral. Very nicely lit up, especially at night.

I'm not really sure how you write to bridge? Is it. For the ease of crossing or the safety? One thing I did find it was extremely difficult to take an interesting photograph of the bridge, hopefully the one below is acceptable!

Small bridge, the statues were added in 2020, so it's often renovated

Wonderful bridge. So photogenic, especially during sunny Sunday as I visited it. You can buy some magnets from locals on one end.

The story that is posted (In English and Polish) is cute. As are the two Gnome statues on either side of the bridge.

Free to visit, this bridge is located in the old town Wroclaw. Its a popular place to watch the river Odra. Close to this bridge are ships cruises you can take to explore the town on the water. There are some restaurants nearby and ice cream stands. Wroclaw is know as little Venice because of the amount of briges and river ways it has.

Green bridge with its own charm quite good for instagram photos, don't forget the love locks ;)

It's a bridge. It's just on the way from somewhere to somewhere else. It's been nicely restored, and after dark the lamplighter comes and does his job. It used to be a (late edition) "Lock Bridge", but new locks are cut off within a couple of days. But, the sellers still sell them. Better, give your money to a deserving case; a refugee or such. Otherwise, give it to me (better than the many professional beggars that always work the "Island". Stay safe. Be aware. Have fun.

I don't understand why this bridge is so hyped. There are many bridges nearby that are much more spectacular. I only give 2 stars because it didn't collapse when I was crossing it.
