Leider kann ich mich diesem allgemeinen Lobgesang nicht vollumfänglich anschließen, da ich mit einigem Befremden feststellen musste, dass gute Manieren bei dem einen oder anderen alteingesessenen Gast eher ein Fremdwort zu sein scheint, weil Leute, die eben nicht in diesem "Tu Dir keinen Zwang an Look" dort aufschlagen, sondern wie ich am gestrigen Mittwoch mit Anzug und Krawatte, einer peinlichen Befragung unterzogen werden und das saubere Erscheinungsbild eher ein Manko zu sein scheint . Und dies in einer recht anmaßenden Weise. Überhaupt konnte ich mich des Eindrucks nicht erwehren, daß man sich daran stieß, dass ich als Nicht Wuppertaler es wage diese Bar überhaupt aufzusuchen. Zwar wurde ich von Sascha selbst zuvorkommend bedient. Allerdings hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass er dieser penetranten Fragerei sowie dem provokanten Auftreten gewisser "Stammgäste" entgegengetreten wäre. Zumal es niemanden zu interessieren hat, welchem Beruf ich nachgehe bzw. was für ein Leben ich führe. Auch brauche ich mich sicher nicht rechtfertigen, weshalb ich nicht in abgetragener Kleidung und runtergetretenen Schuhen erscheine. Fazit : Schade eigentlich, wenn man bedenkt, daß das eine richtig nette kleine Bar ist.

Und eine Bar, die um sich selbst weiß. Wer oder was sie ist und was sie nicht sein möchte. Für meine Freunde und mich war es ein Ort, an dem wir Freaks echt sein durften und sollten. Kein unangenehmes baggern stattdessen echte und unvermittelte Kontakte. Vor und hinter der Bar. An unserem Abend haben Conny, Alex und Dennis die Bar einfach nur GEROCKT. Und die Gäste zogen nach. Einmal zur Toilette gehen wollen: Zackbumm fünf neue Menschen mit ihren Geschichten und Perspektiven.
