I love ruins and places that aren't full of sandals & sunhat travellers. It's a beautiful, but easy walk up from ample parking to see breathtaking views of the town below. The ruin itself is just a small taste of history, but the feeling of being there is the real reason to check it out.

Nice quite place, with beautiful views to the city of Karlstadt and the river Main. 15 min step Walk from the road. It's worth to do it

Small old city, really famous for tourists (only over twenty minut from bigger and more famous, interesant and beauty Rothenberg). Next to the city, on the not so big mountain, still exist some interesting ruin walls and basemant , unfortunetlly undergrounds are closed, dobt know why, can be that they hiding some more interesting stuff, not for our eyes ;) generally, nice city, with good looking ruins on the top of hill other site of "Main" River, sehr schön platz!

Iris an important part of the history. Worth a visit. It is a short but hard walk uphill. Worth the effort. No doubt. And the view is fantastic.

Toller Ausblick auf die Stadt. Leider nur zu Fuß oder per Rad erreichbar. Die Ruine ist nicht sonderlich riesig, dennoch schön zum verweilen mit einigen Parkbänken und einem wunderschönen Ausblick auf Karlstadt.
