I am writing this review to inform the people who never come to their $1 Burger Tuesday on their advertisement that it's misleading and the customers must be cautious when they order their food. When we looked at the menu in the ‘burger’ section we thought it is the $1 burger they advertised so we ordered Prime Burger (the only beef burger option) to the waitress when I specifically pointed out “with the purchase of a beverage” on the front page with $1 Burger title to show her I would like to have a cup of hot tea for the beverage. She didn’t mention the $1 burger is NOT the Prime Burger, nor informed us that it is NOT coming with fries (the menu on Prime Burger stated it is coming with fries). We realized until the bill came, $1 tomato, $1 onion, and $3.99 for fries. She said: “I tried to give you a better price with $1 burger and $2 for tomato and onion”, yeah, we got it, it is a decent price for a ‘prime’ burger from their previous feedback on their Facebook reviews, but for the customers who tried the new restaurant with its advertisement might feel it is deceiving that we didn’t get informed about the $1 Burger is the “special” burger that is NOT on their menu with only lettuce and meat. If we knew the fries is $3.99 each I wouldn’t ordered it especially she knew I want the Tuesday $1 burger and she decided to surprise us on the bill. Money is not the issue but it is the feeling of getting tricked with the promotion price and ended up paying much more than we expected. We are Wyandotte residents and it is our first time and the last time visit this place. If you’re choosing a similar atmosphere with foods and beer, Captain's and Firehouse Pub are much better than On the Rocks. Not to mention that the waitress dropped the napkin and spilled the buffalo sauce on my husband’s shirt and pants, and we didn’t say anything on her carelessness services. Again, honest is the best way to maintain a long-term business. If you only offer $1 burger with lettuce and meat, STATED it on the ads and on the menu, or train your servers to inform the customers so they won’t get surprise on the bill and never come back again!

We went on one of the last days open, before the mandated shut down of all restaurants/bars. An employee greeted us at the door to offer sanitizer for our hands. We had good service, and the food was yummy!

Popped in for a quick bite and a couple drinks before a concert and was expecting typical bar food. They had some of that but ,the menu was far more.Sushi,oysters, flat breads and more. A great looking drink menu too. I usually choose a beer ,but the drink menu grabbed me. I tried a Detroit Mule,which is whiskey, ginger beer,and mint. Soooo good I had two. My Friends chose sushi,and a smash burger and were very happy with their meals. I went with mussels. The flavor and care this dish was crafted with was amazing. Very friendly and attentive service at the bar we ate/drank at. Highly recommend this stop for anyone looking for something extra delicious in a meal.

This was our first time but will not be last. From the chic atmosphere to top notch service, On the Rocks was a win. We ordered variety of food and everything was prepared perfectly. The flavors took you on a journey. Definitely a higher end price tag but well worth it.

I came from out of town because I heard good things about this place, I walked around the building two times and there is no entrance marked whatsoever. The only visible door leads OUT of the building but it's blocked off by their patio rails. Really disappointed I had to ask a guy who was working on the suite next door where the entrance was but I honestly didn't want to eat there anymore.

This is a fantastic place to grab a nice drink and some really good sushi. Some friends of ours had their wedding reception here and the display of sushi and raw oysters was impeccable. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. It also has outdoor seating available with an open concept in the summer months..

Only had drinks but good service and great music.

We are very service industry friendly but tonight we heard every excuse. Slammed - when she had 4 tables. Kitchen swamped - 2 tables waiting for food & all others done (total of 8). Had to find silverware, which meant waiting at least 5 minutes to eat given excuse that no one had been rolling silverware. Bartender not making the drink ticket - when I clearly watched her ring in the drink after she left the table. 2 sushi rolls ordered at Same time but delivered 20 minutes apart. Asked for soy sauce twice & the 2nd time she said she had to fill bottles. System crashed blamed for multiple issues. Food was ok but not worth the wait. Very disappointed & won't be back.

All the food was amazing! Owner and wife were very interactive and food was just impeccable, I came out of town from Chicago just to try this place and it did not disappoint. Try the crunchy roll, the fried calamari, try everything!

My very first impression was frustration as we did not realize you had to go through the Sushi place next door to get in and had no idea it was connected because we had not been there before. However, once we figured that out, I was thrilled! The place looks great, the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for and oh my... the food! It was absolutely amazing! Not over salted, flavors were so well done, you could tell that a lot of thought went into the menu. We have been back multiple times and not once have we had a bad meal or bad service. This has become a place I will always recommend!

I'd been wanting to try this place and finally made it on new years eve. Food was delicious and our server was friendly and didn't miss a thing. I'll definitely be back.

The service was excellent and the food was great! Sara is the best. She treats all the customers very well! Friendly atmosphere for sure! And you can't beat $1.00 Burger Nights on Tuesdays!

Enjoyed my dinner and drinks. Great food and service definitely will be back. I enjoyed my conversation about sushi with the owner Mike. He takes pride in his business. I will continue to come back everyone was very polite Thank-you Mike for a great dinner

Awesome staff and the hamburger was really good. Their Keg Tots was freaking amazing. I will definitely go back.

Sushi was excellent as well as the coconut flavored drink. Will be back for sure.

We went in on Memorial Day and Sara was great. She was the only person working and we still had excellent service. It's too bad I can't give 6 stars.

My sister and my friend and I got the sushi boat ⛵ which was absolutely delicious. It fed three people and take home too

We really enjoyed the Irish folk dancing and love band. The venue is large and welcoming. I love the style and lighting design a lot.

Horrible. We ordered a margarita pizza and the waitress (who was very rude to us the whole time) brought us a margarita drink. When we told her it was wrong she left the drink but charged us for it. The margarita pizza came an HOUR after everyone else's food had come out. When we asked her when the pizza would be ready she got an attitude with us and said "I told you guys it would take a little longer" and walked away. We asked for a manager and she was rude as well. When we asked her why we got charged for the drink when we didn't order it she said "because we're not in the business of giving away free drinks" smh a drink we didn't even order! I'll never be going there again.

Where to start...The service is terrible. We tried to call in our order and no one answered. We had to text them and they said they would call us back and never did. So we ordered pick up on Grub Hub. Worst. Decision. Ever. My husband goes inside to pick it up and was told that they were waiting for something and it would be up in a little bit. Then Tony, from the sushi bar intervenes and proceeds to ask my husband if he has been helped and my husband tells him yes. He asks if he is waiting on a pick up order and he asks my husband's name, and he tells him and Tony says "Oh it's right here." My husband tells him that he was told they're still waiting on an item. He "checks" the order and insists that it is correct and ready. So my husband takes it and we make a stop on our way home. I check the bag and I notice the mac and cheese bites are missing. So we go back and my husband sees Tony and makes his way over but Tony ran to the back before my husband could approach him. Then my husband saw a manager and a hostess but they also made their way to the back. The hostess comes back out and approaches my husband and he says he is missing the mac and cheese bites and she apologizes and says she knew they were waiting on them but Tony acted a little to quickly and handed over the uncompleted order. She had them remake the mac and cheese bites but that took another 20 minutes while our food got ice cold. So not only could we not get our money back because we had to order on their app. To add insult to injury the food tasted like it was served in old grease...not just old grease, there was a fishy background.

Great place shares the place with Sushi Bar. Oyster, crunchy roll, Japanese roll & vegetable tempura. 😋

The service is awesome! Great atmosphere. Had a great time hanging out with friends and made some new ones. I had the appetizers and they were great. A friend had the sushi and said it was incredible. Sarah behind the bar and all of the staff is amazing. We met Elisha and Emily - they were fun and professional.

My husband took me to on the rock and the service was outstanding, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was very friendly! We had such an awesome experience. I would definitely recommend going there, I know we will be back! Thank you Sarah, I love your bar!
