I scheduled an appointment at a different dentist for a second opinion after my visit here at Ideal Dental Wylie. They recommend antibiotics into my gums and other services. They also were really trying to push Invisalign even after I told them no (my bottom teeth have been misaligned for over 10 years and haven't changed, there isn't an issue other than aesthetic). The second opinion was that NONE of the services Ideal Dental said I needed were necessary at all. What really infuriates me is that they didn't even do my cleaning!!! They said I would need to do the antibiotics on one side of my mouth (the other side later) to include my 6-month cleaning that is fully covered by my insurance. I called my insurance company and they confirmed my cleaning should have been done free of charge, without the need to do any additional services like the antibiotics. I took off work for this appointment and they didn't even clean my teeth, just kept trying to upsell me. Extremely disappointed with this office. The staff are friendly, but I would not recommend their services to anyone, as they seem dishonest and unethical. EDIT: After reading through other reviews it looks like telling patients they need a deep cleaning is a money-grabbing tactic at this location. Very sad that this office has chosen to do this to consumers.

Not a pleasant first experience and will probably not be going back. Went in for a general appointment/cleaning and after an first as this was my first time at this dentist, was told I needed a deep cleaning. I was fine with this, until I was told this would be near $900 WITH insurance. After asking for a general cleaning first and a recheck in a few months and if it needed to be done then we could do it, I was told the diagnosis was the diagnosis and would not be able to get my teeth cleaned regularly. I've scheduled an appointment with another dentist for a second opinion and will update this once I've had that appointment, as if they end up needing to be deep cleaned fine, but given the nature of a first appointment and being refused a regular cleaning on my first visit, and seeing others with the same issue, I can't say I'm particularly impressed with the service I was given, though I will amend my review should another dentist agree with this assessment.

I picked them for their proximity and part of the value plan with my insurance. Super easy to schedule. Got me in next day and made some calls to my insurance to confirm benefits. Took me back right at the appointment time and had great and thorough X-ray & 3D rendering equipment and they explained everything they were doing. Great experience. Would recommend.

The staff is amazing! My cleaning and my consultation were both wonderful and I will definitely return! I drive 2.5 hours one way from a rural area and it was well worth it!

The staff was friendly and accommodating, even though we arrived late to the appointment. We did not feel rushed. My son was comfortable with the dentist and anyone else that he encountered.

I scheduled my daughter's appointment in advance so that it falls during the break and she doesn't have to miss school. When I went to the facility for another appointment, I double confirmed with front desk that the appointment is confirmed. Today they can't find my daughter's appointment in the system! The appointment system seems to be messed up!

Got there 30 minutes early for paperwork. STILL waited at least 40 minutes. Was emergency all. If you cannot handle appts, don't make more appts! Who does that?
