Decent place, but you can tell soon as you pull up in the parking lot that it’s a second rate hotel. Check in was easy and the host was a very nice man. Lobby was clean and inviting. They collect a $50 deposit. I walked past the pool on my way upstairs and it looks decent. I love the fact that you can see the pool from the second level glass. The ice machine is broken 🙄 and the vending is less than adequate. The room is clean enough, but just feels nasty (can’t really explain that). Towels look clean, but the washcloths look like someone has been washing dishes with them. Bed is comfortable. Pillows look worn and the cases are yellowing and dingy. Once I seen the different color hangars and found the 1/2 empty bottle of Johnny Walker Black in the bottom drawer, I knew I was in a three star establishment. My overall judge of any hotel room (and I stay in a lot of em) is if I would walk around barefoot: I would NOT walk around this room barefoot…🚫🦶

This place was utterly vile. We needed a stay for the night and didn't have many options, so we figured this would be decent because it's a chain and it definitely wasn't cheap. Wrong. First room: long hair on the towels, pubes in the tub, and the bed made a weird booming noise every time you sat down. Apparently they use sheet metal platforms instead of, I don't know, a regular bed? Whatever. We asked for a different room and they allowed us to switch. Second room: smelled like someone smoked in it. The pillows were stacked on the chair for some reason, and the bed only had one thin blanket. The bathroom door was damaged and didn't close all the way. I'm betting it was kicked in at some point. There's barbed wire around the place (???) which tracks. We were too tired to care so we went to sleep. The whole night, some high school or college basketball team was talking in the hallway and slamming doors. We asked them to keep it down, no dice. When we called the front desk about it, all she did was very weakly ask them to stay in their rooms. Not even, "hey it's 2 in the morning and you're being way too loud". Next morning I noticed a pile of ash next to the bed. Not only did someone smoke in the room, housekeeping didn't even clean it up. I brought it up to the guy at the front desk and all he had to say was that they were short staffed. We didn't stick around for breakfast. If we couldn't trust them to clean a room properly we weren't going to trust their food either. Absolutely do not come here. It's filthy and they don't care that it's filthy.

Worst hotel ever! Walked in to pay for the room, gentleman at the desk didn't even tell us how to get to our room, and it was very cold outside looking for our room with our 3 year old. Got in the room, room smelled very musty and smokelike. We were so tired so we stayed anyways as we only had a few hours till we had to be at the airport. Got up for breakfast, pancake batter was super watery and breakfast area was a mess, and the guy at the counter just sat on his laptop, talking to someone on his personal cell phone, not caring. If I could get a refund on this I would take it, because I will not be staying at this location again.

I feel as if this was a decent hotel. Minus the area and the door kept slamming Everytime someone came in and out. Breakfast was great and my service was good. And my kids enjoyed there selves. And staff was good with kids too.

One of the best hotels on this side of town in Grand Rapids? Marco I believe his name is very customer service. Friendly, respectful willing to work with you patient handsome. Unreasonable with prices. If looking to stay some place where, you don't have to worry about bad environment This is the place to come.

Our room was clean and really nice! The bed was soft and comfortable! The staff was friendly and they serve breakfast an hour longer than most hotels! It was a really great stay for the price! The location isn’t the best for traffic and crime rates, but the hotel is a little diamond in the rough!

NOT visitor friendly. Any guests that are not registered on the room is allowed. The front desk will ask you to check out because, quote "it jeopardizes their safety and goes against hotel policy". So apparently, if you don't mention occupation for your room including visitors that may stop by during the course of your stay, you will be charged $30 each guest. The policy does not state - any further offense will lead to early check out, something to keep in mind moving forward. Upon returning my room key. The front desk locked access to the door leading to the lobby - assuming they felt threatened by me. I was forced to return the key through small window leading to the front desk. I laughed. I honestly meant no harm and minded my own business with my quests. Overall, unprofessional the way the front desk went about. The first call was about the guest fee i was okay with paying it. 2nd call he asked me to leave. Snd I did so

My experience at this hotel was amazing. Customer service was great. It was quiet and, in my opinion, safe. It didn't have any issues with bugs thankfully. 10/10 experience

Good sized, and clean room. 5 stars just because of the morning breakfast cook, Staff were friendly and good location as it was close to many restaurants.

They don’t cooperate with customers. My family members car was hit in their parking lot, and they refuse to release the footage bc ‘the manager isn’t there’…what place of business runs without a manager present?

Our family's experience here was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a large room with double beds with a private balcony! The room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. They had a indoor pool! It was great and it stayed open until 11PM! They also had breakfast with many choices to choose from including hot cooked breakfast! The location is great everything is right there or right down the street. It sits back from the road so it is quiet. We will definitely be going here everytime we go to Grand Rapids!

This hotel is terrible! They tried making my boyfriend and I sleep in DIRTY sheets do mind you I was an executive housekeeper and I could PICK the stains off with my nails. The manager lady decided to yell at me while I was making the complain. And I can’t get my money back because when I reported the incident last night my boyfriend and I couldn’t understand the man who was working front desk. I was being very generous and kind when explaining to them what happened. Other than that the room was still dirty there was dirt in the bathtub. I will never recommend this place to ANYONE!

TV worked intermittently, they finally fixed that (mostly). If you have T-Mobile cell service your phone may or may not work inside your room and internet on your phone will be non existent. My son went to the pool and found feces floating in the pool! And last but not least, I checked out a day early and should have been refunded $194.60, instead I was charged an additional $194.60. I spoke with the manager and he explained the person that checked me out did it wrong (Obviously)??!! He sent me a receipt showing they stopped the authorization on the card, but I'm currently waiting to see if they refund all of the money due. The online photos of the facility do not show the fact that it's in a very run down area of Grand Rapids behind a closed restaurant and a liquor store. I would highly not recommend this location, you can find better for less money!

Not the best of quality hotel we have been to, but it did suffice for one night. I would recommend a younger crowd staying here due to the age of the others and the loudness at night. We had young girls who had to be trying weed for the first time in the room next to us because they were running around in the halls yelling, giggling and rolling on the floors at 11 at night. The front desk was closed and so no one could do anything about it. My mother who I was with ended up using her mom voice which I haven’t heard in 2 decades. The TV and phone was shotty too - so I wouldn’t recommend having your cell phone die and needing an emergency service cause the phone cord kept coming unplugged. The doors also wouldn’t shut unless you put force into it, so we were worried about the locks and ended up blocking all 3 doors in our room. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel because even for the $140 - the double decker hostel bus parked outside seemed safer and probably would have been a better option.

It took an hour for them to check us in. We planned to stay for 5 days but when we got there and seen that the hotel is nothing like the pictures we planned to change it to one night since they had already charged us on the choice app. The guy at the front desk was very rude. He called to see if there was a room for the 5 days and said yes but then when we changed our mind and only one night he said he had to see if there was a room available. After going back and forth he finally gave us our room. Everything was fine till 10:30 thank goodness I locked the door because another couple had a key and could have just walked in on us. Basically they sold our room again. Then at 6am called and woke us up to tell us we paid a discount price and need to pay the full price. Then without permission tried to charge us for 3 days.... we will never stay here again and advise everyone else to look else where.

Iris at the front desk is the absolute BEST!!! Our overnight stay was ok, a little loud but clean. Hot tub was relaxing. We’d stay again just to have the chance to see Iris again! She made our day!!!

We got there and our room wasn't even finished being cleaned. The front desk immediately upgraded us, without hesitation or question. They were on it! Our upgrade was amazing, clean and the staff is very friendly, we will definitely come back!

Staff was very kind. Hard to turn into location during day time hours. Looks rough on the outside, but is good on the inside. Bathroom was really nice. Room was okay: not a five star everything is new kind of hotel, but also better than I was expecting.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed in. Hair on the tub, grime, and there was bugs all over the windows. Then the best part is this place has bed bugs! Had to leave and demand a refund immediately. So disgusting. And no locks on the doors!
