Booked an Executive Suite because it said on website that it includes spa usage. Upon calling up asking for opening hour of the sauna, the staff told us it is not built yet... Then we wanted downgrade which seeminglgy wasnt possible because they were fully booked already. In the end we wanted cancel the reservation and the staff on phone was extremely unfriendly.

First time in this place and most likely never again! The location is nice, facilities are clean and maintained! However, the service is virtually non existent: no help with the luggage and my complaint about the non functioning WiFi was handled in an absolute arrogant manner! It took more than an hour before I was able to connect! I took the liberty to remind the disgruntled staff person that I am a paying guest and therefore expect at least standard service and courtesy! Can’t wait to see the breakfast tomorrow, probably have to bake my own rolls !😡

Absolutely rubbish!! Had to wait more then 45 minutes to checkout! Never have I seen anything like this is in a ‘4’ star hotel. Only 1 person at checkout unbelievable!!

The hotel itself is very good, the only thing that I didn't like was the extortionate price that we were charged for filling up our water bottles.

The bed sheets and towels smells horrible due to poor detergent quality. The horrible chemical smell from bed sheet impacted our sleep. The location is great, staffs are nice.

Incredible hotel for the price. The room was out of this world, more like a mini apartment than a hotel. The breakfast was great, so much variety and all good quality and tasty. Excellent staff, all so welcoming and warm. The location as well, absolutely magnificent. Peaceful and beautiful. I'm already thinking of excuses to come again.

Excellent service at the hotel, reception was very helpful. The resturant had good food and excelent room service, easy to order to the room. Good standard and very clean. The hotel location is perfect, walking dostance to the center but still a bit on it’s own with beautiful walkways along the rhein and quiet area around the hotel. Bonus: very good bartender that made excellent drinks.

The two guys at the reception were extremely helpful and friendly, the room and view were very nice. The facilities in and around the hotel was very good. The down side was, some of the ladies in the restaurant were so unfriendly, their attitude sucked and to top everything off, when I booked out the one lady made me pay even though the agency already paid. One suggestion would be a shuttle service to town or a special rate on longer daily bicycle rentals.

눇Very nice hotel situated on the Rhine river and only a short walk from the city center of Wesel. The staff were extremely polite and did their best to accommodate us with our two toddlers. They gave us a room with easy access and helped us with feeding chairs for breakfast and in the hotel lobby. The room was very clean and featuring a full kitchen which the hotel should advertise more as it is a very nice feature. The breakfast is good and generous. The Wi-Fi worked well during our stay and connecting to it was straight-forward. I have stayed in this hotel before and I will again in the future. The hotel It is by no means cheap but the price is really worth it considering the room you get.

Worst hotel I've ever seen. Service sucks: cold lady at the reception and during the checkout. Food sucks: Had to chose between pork, fish and mushrooms, pork and fish came with the exact same tasteless vegetables. Room sucks: Shower had several issues, TV was like 15 years old. Breakfast was also pretty bad. Eggs looked like very industrial. Only nice things were the cocktails at the bar, although the choice was pretty limited. Last time we try something with Bongo.

Despite poor check in experience and a 34C room temperature with no AC, this turned out to be a pretty good place to stay for a week. The location along the River Rhine is very nice. American vernacular can be a challenge for the staff to understand but talk like a Brit, and there is no language issues. Staff and everyone are very nice. A very good place to stay if you’re looking for something nice and quiet.

We stayed there 4 nights with our two little boys in August July 2020. Room was clean but requires restoration. The refregirator did not work during our stay. Despite our several claims to the reception no one came over even to have look at it. The breakfasts were avarage and not enough. When there is no milk, there is no milk. When there is no cheese you have to wait for a fortune. I assume they were doing it intentionally.

Rooms 3/5 - Bad: There was a kitchen in my room, but not a single dish. What a strange conception. With two separate mattresses, there is gap in bed, that is really annoying. Furniture is little outdated, but ok. Good: Room was really big, lots of cabinets for things. Good Wifi (password from TV!). Easy to mirror mobile phone to TV and watch whatever you want. Service 5/5 I have been there many times, and never have had bad experience with staff. Better English, than in many places in Germany. Location 4/5 Is away from the city center. For compensation use to have restaurant/pub nearby, but as 2022-02, this is also closed. But with the river promenade, the location in more beautiful, than hotels in central town.

Quiet and nice location, friendly staff, very good breakfast. A true 4* hotel. A hotel designed for long stays, but even so, I don't understand why should be a kitchen in suite apartment.

Had a good stay for a recent business trip, very spacious suites that were well furnished. Loved the rural riverside location and the food and drink was good too. No problems with service or staff

Great location on the Rhine. Accomodation a little dated and loses a star for its lack of air conditioning! Suites are big though. Good for longer self catering stays for families.
