The only reason I am giving the location one star is because I can't give no stars. The Bob Evans could be the worst location ever. Second bad experience in a row. First time had a free night and thought I would set in side as I had not set in the restaurant in years. Sat down to a sticky table, and jelly all over the menu. Tried to press on and get a wild fire chicken salad. They were out of chicken. Second time was today got in there was a flustered lady at the counter as the staff could not find her $58 order. The brought out my wild fire chicken salad and let me know they are out of wild fire ranch. What are the odds. They finally locate the ladies order so she is pulling out the food from the bag to make sure they got everything. Can't say I blame her due to the lack of customer service I was witnessing. She had the bag half empty and a guy asked her to move over so they could cash me out. I decided I did not want my meal. It is pretty evident these kids working there do not care about people. Bob Evans use to be an American staple you could depend on the take care of you and provide and excellent dinning experience. No longer the case. You mostly see an older crowd that goes for the nostalgia. You don't see younger people there. What will you do when the older generation is no longer around?

Met my good friend at Bob Evans for lunch today. I had the 1/2 and 1/2 special. Got the beef and vegetable soup along with a half chicken breast sandwich. The soup was delicious 😋

I cannot put my finger on where the issue lies. I guess if one was to be dating and, after however long in each situation, that person gets broken up with over and over, some would ask themselves, is it me? THAT is the only way I can figure how to describe this Bob Evans location. Is it me? It not a 13 ingredient Starbucks drink, it's Turkey with stuffing, mash potatoes & a vegetable & chicken gravy (no Turkey gravy option, which is odd) but nothing changed, as is on their menu, how do you screw that up? OH, you forget your customer's name which is written on the order from the internet, take an hour to have it ready and have it be ice cold when given out. Bang up job Bob Evans, you certainly are KILLING it, just NOT in the good way! Is the success of a restaurant still location, location, location or is it now, put it anywhere, it'll be garbage regardless? I don't believe I've ever thought to post pictures but this is a $40 order. The solo stuffing in that cup, $3, hashbrowns & think she got 1 egg, $10 and the turkey, mashed potatoes and the stuffing portion included with the meal, tray with the turkey, $20 I do believe. Sorry, not a Mastercard commercial, there is no "priceless," well, could have been had they broken the mold and actually handed out food they could be proud to serve, haha, good luck!

I hadn't been to a B.E in a long time due to poor experience before. Well my family went and the food was actually really good. The service wasn't the greatest. Not the waitress' fault, we only saw two waitresses the whole evening. Also there were a few tables still yet to be cleared. Granted none of that bothered us much, we have kids we understand. The food is what impressed me.

Stopped in for breakfast. No wait and staff was great. Dede waited on our table and did a wonderful job, she was really nice. Food was good came out quick and hit the spot.

Our server went above and beyond to accommodate the requests of one of our party. Food was generous portions and tasty. Store is beginning to look its age, but was quite clean.

Ordered 3 burgers these burgers were squished dried out and burnt like they used a weight to cook it beyond recognition, fries tasted old like the oil hasn't been changed in a really long time. Granted I got this to go but the fries were ice cold and soggy along with the burnt taste like they were sitting out for awhile. Also ordered loaded fries for an up charge and didn't have them loaded. Poor quality one of the worst bob evans I have ever experienced!!

We hadn't been to this location for several years. It's set up differently than most Bob Evans restaurants we have seen, but we thought it was cozy and welcoming. Food was delicious; the service at the table was excellent. The time it took to be seated and also to be checked out was long...we surmised that like many other businesses, they are short-staffed. However, when someone finally came to set us and check us out, these associates were cuatomer-service oriented and efficient.

Clean, food fantastic especially the banana bread, chicken fried steak. The white gravy is amazing. Service was the best!

I took my visiting children, and grandchildren here for lunch. Bob's has been a family favorite for generations. This one is in a nice location, and I have been here many times. My initial impression with this particular Bob's is that it needs a good freshening up. It's not dirty by any means, but it needs a refresh. That being said we, party of 7, had a delightful waitress! The food arrived quickly and was delicious. We had mostly breakfast meals, but one had the turkey dinner which rivals homemade ,in my humble opinion. I did notice the portion of hash browns had shrunk.....a sign of the times most likely. All in all, it was a lovely lunch and i was more than happy to pay the $97. dollar bill with a generous trip for an outstanding young lady server. Definitely recommend.

The waitress has more responsibility. A job that once took 2 people to do has been condensed to the Waitress. No more Bus Boys. The waitress is now responsible for taking orders, going around refilling coffee, and Busing the Tables. To much work for 1 person to provide quality customer service. Bob Evan's need to rethink this.

The food both times I ate was served cold and the service varied greatly between visits. I would still give 3 stars as despite being cold, the prices were reasonable and it did taste fresh rather than frozen.

Astounding level of professionalism from the manager. A member of our party had a personal issue with their meal and when brought to the restaurant’s attention, the manager rectified the situation with the utmost respect and courtesy.

I wanted to check them out & see what all they had to offer for less than 17$ - 16.99 to be exact lol. Here's what all you get - 3 slices of turkey & 6 side dishes plus a slice of pie, that's a heck of a deal. So as far as for the meal - you get the 3 slices of turkey, tons of stuffing, your 3 side dish choices - they offer variety of options, but I went w/ mac&cheese, mashed potatoes & gravy as well as green beans, other items included - a couple of rolls or biscuits, a side of cranberry sauce, a slice of pie (Pumpkin,Pecan,Apple,Peanubutter) Everything tasted great, nice sized portions for a great price. I didn't call ahead, just showed up, placed a togo order and just sat on the seated bench for 10 mins and (Poof) food was ready, service was super friendly and quick & then I went home & enjoyed. Such a simple & pleasant experience on usually a hectic day.

Couldn't believe the filth. Wiped table water with napkin and it was still dirty. Couldn't get an extra napkin to save my life. Asked 3x. Got up and helped myself. Coffee didnt taste like coffee either. Took 10 minutes for someone to greet us to get seated. Manager brought food because server was very slow. Won't be going back.

Great service. We had an 11 top roll in unannounced and the waitress was amazing. All the food came out right and fresh. Never had a bad experience at this location!

I called the Xenia Bob Evans at 11:50 am on Thursday 9-22-22 to place a take out order, a girl answered the phone and immediately placed me on hold- for 17 minutes, I was across the street and drove to the restaurant and stood at the carry out register for 7 more minutes until a young girl asked " can I help you?" I looked at the phone on the wall and showed her my cell phone, my call timer was on 20+ minutes, she asked " can I take your order" . I simply said " no thanks" and left- This is the 3rd time I was placed on hold and never answered

The little waitress I had was excellent. I live in Kettering Ohio and I went to Xenia to do some shopping and stopped there and that's the best service I have ever had at a Bob Evans I wish I could remember her name but she was definitely a sweet heart. I do remember she said she had worked there for twenty years

A friend and I went in for lunch, We couldn't decide what we wanted. Our waitress Amy was awesome! She gave us ideas on what we could order to include what it was that we wanted. She was very attentive. This location needs more servers like her! Kudos Amy! You've done well!

This location is good. Unfortunately, some Bob Evans are not as good as they used to be or should be. This one was clean and speedy. I was however, dining alone. Sometimes that gets things done a little bit fast.

Ordered carry out and when we got home the biscuits and gravy were missing. That was for my husband and he cooked something else. I called and they said come get them or they would give credit for next time. I said credit and gave them my name. The very next night we went in for another carry out i mentioned the credit. The manager offered less credit than what I paid for the food I never received. Bizarre. No apology or “ let us make it up to you@. Also ,The food was not good on the second order. I didn’t get what I ordered and my husbands chicken soup was flavorless. We won’t return.

Judge for yourself….chicken burnt and the corn is barely a helping. Another Xenia restaurant not worth the time. Even burnt meal was cold and simply gross

Food was great and good portions for the money. Server was excellent in spite of being the only one in the restaurant on a reasonably busy mid Saturday afternoon! She was really working hard, and still managed to take care of all her tables. I will definitely be going back!!

My husband and I eat at this Bob Evans frequently. Normally, food is good and service friendly. In the last couple of weeks, that has changed! Waits are long. We have seen MANY people leave before being served! I personally felt like leaving today ! We waited for over 20 minutes just to be seated. Not once were we even acknowledged or even told they would be right with us. As we waited, another group came in. Immediately the hostess asked their name and how many were in the party. When I said we had been waiting before them, I was told she knew that ! Then she barked to follow her! As she left us at the table, she said over her shoulder, "I DO KNOW WHAT I'M DOING!" and marched off! If my visits were based solely on her, I would never return! However, our server was great and the food adequate. If people are leaving because of this young woman , the restaurant would be better off without her!

Most recent visit was not the best. Bottom line: It was not busy when we visited, but there seemed to be some staffing issues, mainly in the kitchen. It took a while for someone to come and seat us, I made eye contact with at least 3 people before someone walked over. Our server was extremely friendly and accommodating (she is the reason for 3 stars instead of a lower amount). We ordered a kids breakfast item, an adult breakfast item, and 2 adult dinner items (my wife specified no gravy). It took 40 minutes to get our food, and my wife's meal came covered in gravy. She didn't complain because at that point, we were all very hungry. Total bill after tip was over $60. Overall, not a great experience for a meal where I paid that much. That experience will influence whether we choose to go back again, and how soon.

Omg the food was awesome, and you must try the banana nut bread, AMAZING! The service was great as well. Thanks for everything! The Banana nut bread was best grilled on one side.
