Fast and friendly service, good quality of food and good sized portions. I love their burritos, always very tasty. They have good lunch deals as well and also do delivery. Staff speaks english and they have an english menu available. I can fully recommend Cantina Agave!

Contrary to Google Maps, this restaurant is not closed. I was just there on October 9, 2017 and it was doing a fine business. They have a nice menu with a wide variety of Tex-Mex, and potent margaritas. My favorite is the ceviche, a meal in itself. This is one of my two favorite Mexican restaurants in Shanghai, the other being Pistolera on Hengshan Lu. Sitting outside on the patio by the sidewalk is a great way to watch the beautiful people of Shanghai walk by. There is also a Cantina Agave on the Pudong side that is just as good if you're staying on that side of Shanghai.

Margaritas are awesome... The food is the best I have trie md in my 10 days in China. If you want some latín american flavor. Come here!!

BEST. MARGHARITAS. EVER. honestly, barely had such a balanced drink like here. And it is so reasonable priced too! They have good deals, 2for1 and the like. Food is eggcellent too!

menu selection, prices mid ranged like a burrito costs 60rmb which isnt bad, The Beef Papito meat was tender and the side salad helps freshen up the course. Tacos though are okayish as there are better taco places elsewhere in Shanghai.Service is good and ambiance that Mixed Bar/Resto vibe. Good Place for Groups. The give free Tortilla chips while your waiting.

Hands down the best mexican food in Shanghai!

Ate here three times. Yes the margaritas are good. The food is tex-mex tasty too. The corn chips are ok, but somewhat lacking in quantity. There is a small hot sauce bar inside where you can try different types of sauce and get extra jalapeños if you like. The owner is a U of Michigan grad. Overall a very happy experience for China. Was here in Sept of 2015

Bona-fide Mexican food on the other side of the globe? Count me in. Full salsa bar and beautiful dining for about the same price as Chipotle back in the United States. Situation comfortably in the middle of the French Concession. However, consider twice bringing kids later in the day since next door is a bar and it is also encouraged to drink here.

I want to start off by saying energy and ambiance here on weekend is amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The brunch specials are great. But for me personally the food wasnt all that. Aesthetically is looks great but it was kind of bland too me. Maybe it was because I had a plant based burrito. But my friend also said it about the food. So I’ve heard that the food was really good in past. I loved everything about the restaurant and area, so I would definitely go again to try different platters.
