地下鉄伏見駅から歩いて５分ほどの場所に２０２０年２月２５日にオープンしたアイリッシュパブ、平日の夜に利用してみました。店内はカウンター６席とテーブル１０卓程度の席数、２１時少し過ぎくらいの訪問、ほかにお客さんは４組みでした。
メニューはドリンクがアイリッシュウイスキーをにシングルモルトをはじめ、いろんな種類のビールやカクテルなどがあります。一方のフードメニューはソーセージやチキン＆チップス、オニオンリングなどのスナック系のおつまみが中心です。
代金は注文の都度支払いというスタイル、こういうお店って滅多にこないのですが、ひょっとしたらこういうシステムが普通なんですかね。
ツマミとしていただいたのはフィッシュ&チップス、ふっくらした魚フライにカリッカリのポテトはお酒との相性もバッチリですね、たっぷりのタルタルソースとケチャップがあればいくらでも食べれちゃいます。
ドリンクはまずはスネークバイトを注文、ビールとシードルのハーフ＆ハーフのドリンクなんですがビールそのものよりも飲みやすいのでワタクシのようにお酒がそんなに強くない人間にはちょうど良いですね。
２杯目は調子に乗ってロックのウイスキーとか頼んじゃいました、美味しいけどやっぱりお子ちゃまのワタクシにはロックのウイスキーはキツかったですね(笑)
席料もなく明朗会計、そしてお店の雰囲気も良くマスターも気さくな方で楽しく飲むことができました。こういうお店って滅多にこないのですが、なかなかイイものですね、結構気に入ったので伏見で飲んだときにまた二軒目として利用させていただきます、ごちそうさまでした。
