I
wanted
so
much
to
like
it,
especially
reading
reviews
from
Singaporeans.
But
either
the
reviewers
does
not
know
what
real
hawker
fare
tastes
like
or
is
just
being
graciously
polite.
To
start,
the
cosy
ambience
was
lovely,
the
establishment
is
extremely
tidy
and
clean
and
the
choices
on
the
menu
alot
to
take
in.
More
than
I
expected,
perhaps
a
little
too
much
even
for
a
tiny
cafe
with
a
small
kitchen
with
no
wok.
Had
the
opportunity
to
sample
their
Premium
Seafood
Laksa,
Fried
Carrot
Cake
(White)
and
a
Curry
Puff.
The
Laksa
had
the
right
colors,
sambal
chilli
but
it
falls
short
in
all
aspects.
The
broth
had
no
true
flavor
nor
spice
and
was
sweet
even
with
sambal
all
mixed
in?
The
mixture
of
both
thick
and
thin
rice
noodles
was
also
a
very
weird
combination
and
the
Seafood
is
not
blended
into
the
broth
making
it
a
very
remote
dish.
The
Curry
Puff
almost
had
a
sense
of
resemblance,
the
pastry
was
nice
but
the
curry
inside
was
again
sweet
with
no
true
flavor
nor
spice.
Finally,
the
Fried
Carrot
Cake
is
simply
unacceptable.
The
raddish
did
not
have
the
right
taste,
the
essence
of
this
dish
was
simply
invalid.
Restaurant
accepts
all
major
payment
including
electronic,
love
the
service,
but
the
food
needs
to
be
bring
more
authenticity
with
a
reduced
selection
instead
of
attempting
to
try
so
many
dishes
without
any
one
being
a
star.
