The chef grills from the appetizers to the steaks in front of you so you can enjoy watching, eating and enjoying. The scenery seen from Mt. Utatu is also beautiful!

This Teppanyaki restaurant is located on a hill, great short walk in a autumn setting with the red leaves. The wagyu beef is definitely one of the best we had. We visited on a Saturday. The only time available was 4:30 the first shift. The dinner went very quickly wasn’t able to slowly enjoy. After we finished the main course, they moved us to an area for coffee and dessert. Overall the beef and the garlic fried rice was very good but unfortunately we felt a little bit pushed by the quick pace of the chef. Please do make reservation and they have different locations.

I was invited by a good friend’s Birthday. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in the mountainous part of Kanazawa! The dining room is so busy as you need prior reservations before coming in. The steak course was amazing!! It’s also appetizingly good and delish! Best part though was the service of the chef who loves Bon Jovi’s music. He was fun to entertain us and he speaks conversational english as well. Highly recommended.

Food: 4.5 stars Service: 5 stars Ambience: 4 stars The steak was excellent. The chef salted it a lot, which I quite enjoy but my partner didn't as much. We also disagreed on the mouthfeel of the steak - I thought it melted and he thought it required a good amount of chewing. So I feel like I can't give a full 5 stars for the food. The chef was efficient, we had our steak in front of us within 20 minutes of sitting down. In that first 20 minutes we were also served an appetizer of crab custard, an appetizer of roast beef, and a salad. The real reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I felt rushed to finish. Once our steak was served, our chef told us that when we're ready for dessert we should go into the next room. Indeed, we left the teppanyaki table to go to the next room for dessert, and it felt like they were trying to squeeze in another customer at the grill. This isn't the most expensive steak dinner I've had in Japan, but it wasn't cheap either. I would've expected to enjoy my meal in one spot for that price.
