Yelahanka Kere is a large beautiful lake. The walking track around the lake is about 5km - so close to an hour for a round around the lake. Currently some development efforts are ongoing but still the lake is well maintained. The lake has children's play area and multiple outdoor gyms. Multiple species of birds (Swift's, cormorants, egrets, Grey Heron, Purple Heron, Painted stork, open bill stork, Spot billed duck, Eurasian coot, Indian Black Ibis, Oriental white Ibis, white throated Kingfisher etc) can be spotted in the lake. A great place for nature lovers.

☑️ I have been going here frequently. It is the best place for jogging, walking and running (sweating). ☑️ Timings: It's open all 7 days have timings as follows: Morning: 5:00 am to 9:00 am Evening: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm ☑️ A park which has a perimeter of almost 5 km. Nice view during sunset and sunrise. Here you an observe beautiful sunrise ☀️and sunset🌞!! If you are planning to visit and spent time with family Don't think twice!! ☑️Most importantly it is a wonderful place to spent time meditating. ☑️Small gym alike: It has even 3-4 basic equipments to exercise and small relaxation place where you can do yoga. ☑️ We can easily complete a round within an hour. Now the construction of the lake is almost 90 percent completed. ☑️ Rest rooms are very poor and not has been maintained properly. ☑️Drinking water is a available one of the place. ⛔ Be cautious: Sometimes early morning and by mistake if you have visited late evening. There is a chance you may see snakes. Make sure to watch your foot frequently. ✅ Thank you !

A very beautiful and huge lake in the heart of the Yelahanka... good place to get some fresh air... People come here to do either walking or jogging... this lake is also very important to maintain the biodiversity of this place since it's connected to the Puttanahalli bird reserve..

Has a track to jog and one of the biggest lakes in yelahanka area. A must visit and if you are a health freak this one should get your rings completed with just one lap. Beautiful and well maintained. It's being constantly renovated and they keep making it better day by day

A very huge, clean and beautiful lake.Its 5 mins from the Yelahanka highway near kogilu cross. Parking space is limited and not great. The walking and jogging track is well laid. There are multiple exercising equipments along the walk path. The garden is also very well maintained.The perimeter is approximately 3.5- 4 kms and there is also a temple inside the perimeter of the lake. Overall any age group can visit this place. Especially sunday morning walks are a treat.

Lake is beautiful,,, no doubt about it,,, but few things to notice around which may cause not disastrous accidents 1. No safety railing for boating deck area. Long Q for boating and disproportionately expensive. 2. Chain link mesh is damaged. Kids may slip toward ls lake. 3.Horrible parking facility. 4. Approach to be given from main road. 5. Cleanliness around lake is compromised.

Nice location for running and walking with evening fresh air. The lake administration play a nice songs and complete track have been installed speaker, which can helps you to avoid carry your headset to enjoy the music.

It's a nice place to visit just to calm your mind and get out of the overthinking process just visit this place once before and just imagine the sunrise with a lake of water....then how would you feel just think about it....

Encroachment near main gate have ruined the entrance.My local driver told me the lake was twice big in his childhood,but mafia encroached with construction on all sides therby shrinking the magnificent lake.

Best time to visit this lake in the morning before 8 AM and evening sunsets can be spent with your loved ones . A very well designed and maintained lake. Level walking surface makes it very easy and safe to walk. It is about 5.5 km for one round of the lake

Entrance thru the slum is bit unpleasant but the lake itself is very clean and well maintained! Surprisingly good place!

Very well maintained and clean, but park workers should stop playing loudspeakers and disturb visitors, people are not going there to listen to FM radio. Those who like listening to music are carrying their own headsets. But illiterate park workers cannot understand this.

Well maintained lake. Needs fencing to be completed on all sides to ensure encroachments dont happen. Almost a 5 Km walking track across the lake. Makes for a good long walk.

The lake is surrounded with a walking track that makes it worth a visit. There are regular morning walkers found in this place who prefer the lakeside over the polluted roads surrounding the area. The park is also equipped with some basic exercising equipment which is free to use.

This is one of the built up lakes refurbished to some extent and still under development, though it was taken up around 4-5 years back. It has a periphery of about 4.5 kms which is being developed with concrete brick /tiles paved walk way towards lake side and mud road running parallel to it. Gardens and plantations are also under different development stages. The proposed cafetaria places are yet to made functional. Only Radio music is being played regularly both morning and evenings. A open Jim is also provided for both men, women & separately for children also which is really Good and used. Towards East side, Green grass and gardens are being maintained. Pay & use Washrooms /Toilets are also available on this stretch only and on other sides they are yet to be installed and made functional. On the southern side there is a segregated pond which collects sewage / un treated water and is made for settling & aeration before feeding it into the tank but the internal arrangement is not known exactly. This stretch emanates foul odour otherwise entire stretch is good for a morning or evening walks. During Summers snakes also roam around so visitors should be very careful. Out of few Aerators installed, only one near entrance bridge across is functional and it adds to attraction as Fountain. Now a days Boating facility is also made functional. One old Restored small temple on east side & one main temple on south east side exists where During Ganesha festival, they are discharged in a controlled pond area. There is no Parking facility for four wheelers however few two wheelers can be parked near main gate or on road sides.
