    One of the oldest cities in the world back to more than 2500 years, although an exact date for its establishment is unknown. According to Yemeni legend, it was founded by Shem, one of the three sons of Noah. You can find tha beautiful architectural, and the reach culture . I strongly recommend visiting it

    Very beautiful place to be in. Everything is hand made and unique in this part of the city. Everyone here is so friendly specially when the camera is on ❤️ I love the old Sana'a and I love my country, Yemen 🇾🇪 ❤️ #GodBlessYemen

    Old Sana’a , which is a walled city and had seven gates, of which only the Gate of Yemen remains . It is one of those ancient cities continuously inhabited from at least the fifth century BC . It became a temporary capital of the Kingdom of Sheba in the first century AD after families from the Hamedan tribe restored the Sabaean throne from the Himyarites It was mentioned in the texts of Al-Musnad in the form of Sanu , which is derived from “musna’a”, which means fortress in ancient southern Arabic , [1] [2] In the seventh and eighth centuries, the city turned into an important center for the spread of Islam , so it preserved the heritage ofReligious and political is evident in 106 mosques, 21 baths and 6,500 houses dating back to before the eleventh century . The multi-storeyed tower dwellings and old brick houses add to the beauty of the site. [3]
