Built in 1919 AD, it is an asset for receiving tourists from cruise ships, now the golden age of the ancient city of Aden. It was previously called Prince of Wales's Wharf and was the reception station for Queen Elizabeth in Aden in 1956 AD during her visit to the British colonies. Al-Adaniyya has many memories of it, especially holidays and vacations, which is taking a cruise on one of the boats designated for passengers, which is a cruise around the port of Aden and the small islands that takes about half an hour.

Used to be my favorite place, spent years there. Although government denied families and citizens to enter the yard, still a very peaceful place.

The place is nice and clean and has a parking area, but the downside is that there are no chairs overlooking the sea, which forces you to sit on the ground.

This place is located at Tawahi district and it is where Her Majesty the Queen of England first landed on her visit to Aden Colony on 27th of April 1957, still considered a historical as well as a nice place to hang out and spend some good time with a nice view of the sea watching all those commercial giant ships make their way through the water to the seaport of Aden, and one of the best times to be there is at the sunset when you can have a spectacularly view of that cold sun which at that moment looks more like an orange rather than a sun and being slowly swallowed by the sea, a view which totally consumes you and leaves an unforgettable memory almost forever, This place were meant at first place to receive those who come to Aden through the sea, and still doing it's job till today even though the building is under renovations and reconstructio due to the great and awful damage caused to it due to the Houthi repels attack on Aden
