It is located near ladies seat view point. It is garden for relaxing. It can be maintained more well. We need to rake tickets to visit place. Using this ticket we can also visit Rose garden and Botanical Garden phase 2.

Lovely landscaped garden on the Salem Yercaud highway, a few kilometres from Yercaud There are some statues of historical figures, and some view points in the garden, which is situated on a small hillock, from where there are great views in every direction But what takes one's breath away are the large varieties of trees, flowering & non-flowering plants and other species of flora, that are being carefully preserved for posterity... The staff are all very helpful and keep the place clean and tidy... The flowerbeds are neatly maintained and many were in bloom presenting a very soothing sight...

Located near Lady's seat viewpoint... Entry tickets must to visit inside Genetic Heritage garden. There are some other locations inside to it which are Gents seat viewpoint, Children's park, Rose garden and Silk house. Just try out Gooseberry with chilli powder from shops when you visit there. It's awesome (Gooseberry).

(I don’t think, even the Locals know this name). @@ - PURPOSE = To educate the younger generation, the way of life style of the people in “Sangam Period (?!) @@ - AIMED AT = Creating the Flora, fauna, Life Style, Architectural style of period, Folk, love, etc., of the various landscapes existed during the “Sangam Period”. @@ - The garden was expected to accommodate the flora of that region including the cultivable and wild, endangered, endemic species of that area during Sangam Period. @@ - The entire garden WAS illuminated with beautiful lighting fittings and equipped with drip and sprinkler irrigation systems, etc. (few dilapidated items seen ..here & there) @@ - The projected project cost is/ was Rs.816 lakhs Presently, most of these are still dreams or once created items are destroyed!! There are few items still usable (Eg: Mantapas), partly or fully damaged in many parts of the garden. Still it is worth visiting as there are many other areas: 1. Genetic Heritage Garden is situated between Lady's seat and Gents seat. you walk through by this garden from Lady's seat to Gents seat. It display local flora and fauna. In this quiet and pleasant atmosphere, we take a leisure walk around park and take some nice photography.

Require a lot of maintenence. They do charge 30 Rs as entry fees.

It's just view point not got any feeling of botanical Garden

Beautiful garden with many view points. Nice statues are there inside the garden Varieties of flowers are grown inside the garden. Car parking is available and there is entry fee for entering into the garden. There are lot of photo shooting locations are there. Minimum we have to spend one hour inside the garden.

We visited Heritage Park, Gents Seat and nearby areas, during our stay at Sterling Resort, with family. 1) Scenery: Magnificent atmosphere, with the perfect view of the whole valley & Salem city below. 2) Connectivity: Nicely connected via road transport with nearby tourist spots & important cities. 3) Food: Not much. But few shops at nearby Ladies Seat can offer you tea/coffee & few things to munch. 4) Attraction: Great Place for morning walk, when you can see the SunRise, glorious views.

It is just an arch showing a meaningless title to make a wrong impression in the minds of tourists so that they expect something wonderful to experience there. Also they skillfully collect parking fee from the passing vehicles eventhough no one need to park there.
