Very good mosque, especially for the social activities. Because of Covid-19 pandemic this mosque applies good health protocol, all jama'ah always wearing mask and do physical distancing, they are also separate guests on second floor and permanent residents on first floor.

I have been wishing to visit this place because of its outstanding program: The mosque balance must be zero (0IDR) EVERY MONTH! This mosque has so many charity programs which are really helpful to its surrounding. No wonder because the money 100% goes to humanity, specifically charity stuff. I cannot mention it here because you have to google it yourself to see the programs which Masjid Jogokariyan held this entire time. At my first visit, at around 11.30, on Friday 23th, this September 2022-- this mosque was full of people, so crowded. I was so impressed by seeing the people arround enthusiastically come to do the Jumat prayer so early. Even after the jumat prayer, they did funeral prayer. Everything is great and hopefully i can make an effort to visit this place in the near future ✨

One of best example masjid in Indonesia. The scale of masjid jogokariyan is just village-scale masjid, but it can spread benefit to many people around. Building: 8/10 (for village-masjid level) Masjid jogokariyan has 3 floors and sub-unit building. First and second floor on main building is for salah and islamic study. On third floor, there is rooms for guest who want to stay over, and some rooms for islamic events. Financial Management: 8/10 The huge difference between masjid jogokariyan and other masjid is, usually masjid collect and deposit funds from jamaah from time to time. But jogokariyan always try to make masjid’s financial balance to zero in every week/month. And where all the money go? Everything for ummah. Activity: 9/10 One of famous event in every year on masjid jogokariyan is called “Kampung Ramadan Jogokariyan” (Ramadan Village of Jogokariyan). A street bazaar festival that held every afternoon in Ramadan, besides many other events, like tabligh akbar, iktikaf, etc. The Masjid provide up to 1.000 serving for iftar everyday. Everyday. If you want to make donation, do not hesitate to donate here. Your donation will be very useful and barakah, inshaAllah. Verdict: 8/10 I am regular (not too regular tho) jamaah of this masjid. Not too regular, because it’s too far from my place, for regular salah. But if I always stop by if had chance for salah. I have some friends who served as youth section in this masjid. Overall, of course, this masjid is not as perfect as people say, especially if they just visit this masjid once or twice. But still, Masjid Jogokariyan is awesome. I hope, everyone can make masjid jogokariyan and people who run it, as model for their masjid management in their place.

One of the most known mosque in Yogyakarta. The management is good and the best thing here is about their way in managing the social fund itself. They success to leave no balance almost all of the time, so it can be more useful to the public interest.

Superb coordination of mosque care-takers and volunteers around community. Tasty sego tajil for iftar breakfasting with good portion andvery well prepared and good taste!!! May Allah bless us all.

Jogokariyan Mosque is one of the historic mosques located in Jogokariyan Village or precisely on Jogokariyan Street, Mantrijeron, Yogyakarta. Jogokariyan Mosque is one of the mosques in Yogyakarta which is famous for its good mosque program and management. The number of worshipers and visitors who come to this place is even able to compete with the famous tourist attractions of Jogja, especially during the month of Ramadan. It called Kampung Ramadan Jogokariyan or KRJ. Many people cpme here to hunting foods and beverages. There are many food courts during Ramadan. We can do iftar together in here. Its just like a festival.

A beautiful and warm place to visit for food-hunting, especially for you guys who are muslims. A recommended place to go with friends. However, I think the food stall should be opened longer. Since most of it are closed already at 8 PM.

Not too big mosque but quite busy as many people seem to make it as a tourist destination. A comfortable place for praying despite the hectic situation outside the mosque. Provides nice and clean toilets.

Take Shubuh Prayer at this Mosque. Amazing! Full with people that came from others town.

I came with my wife to this mosque to see firsthand and feel how exciting and solemn it is to worship and have a religious tour at the Jogokariyan mosque.

This is simple mosque with a huge blessed for people around mosque, mashaAllah. Trip on 2019~
