👍👍 For a chicken-less menu with only egg, tahu, and tempe bacem, it's a pricey one. But you will taste its authenticity, and deliciousness. No wonder there's usually wait in line here just to get this legendary food. Definitely wanna go back here again later. People often mention gudeg, Gudeg, good, taste, chicken, long, rice, price, delicious, early,

By far my favorite Gudeg in Yogyakarta. Tasted a bit hotter and spicier compare to other similar gudeg. And to locals, they said this Mbo Lindu is most favorable to them. Though seating was limited to aound ten peoples inside, you may also eat outside but with cars and motorcycles passing of course. Open at 6am (meaning open to queue), as they truly open to serve at around 0630-0645. Thus, expect heavy queue. But they serve very fast, that you won’t have to wait for long.

What can I say, we arrived here the place was filled with locals eating and locals queuing up. We ordered the goreg curry (jackfruit) with bubur (rice porridge) & chicken. The price was 20k per portion, the size was ample and the food tasted delicious. The staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend if wanting to try some local Indonesian food.

Best Gudeg in Jogja so far. I barely like Indonesian food but I love this. Highly recommended! Come early in the morning or you have to see a long line like I did. fyi, I arrived at 8 am... wow!

first timer review. arrived at 5.50 and already queued around 8people. served at 6.10am. portion is fulfilling, I ordered gudeg with thigh (paha atas). gudeg is smokey and nice, krecek is dried type so it's a bit hard to cut, chicken very tender. overall I like it for IDR 40k. be careful when parkir, illegally local charge us IDR10k for only 20mins🙄

Unlike the usual gudeg, Guded Mbok Lindu is not too sweet. I consider it to be my fave nasi gudeg! I just order the basic menu: nasi + gudeg + krecek and it cost 15k. If you want to dine in, the seats are quite limited inside so you can enjoy the gudeg outside. You can choose your favourite side dish to be paired with the rice.

I had Gudeg last night, somewhere else, then ended up having some Gudeg against this morning. This one was a little less sweet which I preferred. The texture of this dish is great and it is delicious. Enjoyed sitting there in the street with locals for breakfast.

Traditional local food in yogyakarta Gudeg. Located near famous Malioboro street. The taste is sweeter like common javanese food. This gudeg is famous due to Mbah Lindu that already sell gudeg Dutch colonial period, but she passed away and her daughter who continued the business. You must come early in the morning to enjoy this gudeg because of limited seat and stock. For food street this food is expensive you must ask first how much the price if not it will be surprise. When I tried this gudeg the price is 40,000 rupiah (complete chicken egg gudeg) For foreign tourist maybe the price will be higher than local people. You can choose the menu and additional item based on your preference.

Only available from morning to afternoon. Price depends on the dish you pick. I get the one with ayam suwir thus do not cost a lot. Gudeg (jackfruit) taste really fragrant from the traditional ways of cooking. Krecek taste OK. My mistake is that i expect a lot from this stall, I think they are a good one.,definitelly not a mindblowing one but comparatively better compare to the other gudeg stall i tried.

I always go to mbok Lindu when I visit jogjakarta now. Somehow I love the taste of the gudeg, opor and krecek. Never try to take it home, just dine in there. Should come early between 6.00-6.30 so their menu is still complete. Their dine in place can only accommodate around 12-15 people. If you drive your car there you will park it on the street side.

The line was veryyyy long, i thought it would be a casual place to eat but too bad it is so viral haha. Fortunately, they act as fast as they can. To be honest, it was really good. I was eating on the spot. I took "Half rice + gudeg + egg" for 20k IDR. Since it's one of authentic food in Jogja, you guys should try this and put this on your list too when visit Jogja

indeed, the best nasi gudeg in Yogya. i'm not a fan for nasi gudeg, but this one is tasty. worth to wake up early for the line up at 6am 😄, since it only open from 6am-11am on weekday and 6am-9am on weekend. the place is small, so people who dine-in only got stool to sit.

the infamous Gudeg in Yogyakarta which I personally think is better than the other popular Gudeg because it’s not too sweet and the chicken is very tender and serves together with Kerambak, crackers made of cow skin and is dipped into savory sauce. A must try for those who likes Indonesian culinary.

First time I Tried this gudeg was 5 years ago and still as good. The only Gudeg I can enjoy because is not as sweet as other gudeg , damn the KRECEK is amazing, i never liked KRECEK before GUDEG MBAH LINDU, and the ladies are friendly. Now available Frozen Gudeg you can bring home. Must Eat This Legendary Gudeg.

If you want to taste their Gudeg you need to come very early in the morning because she has lots of customers and the lines are kind of long but worth it! I ordered the Gudeg with Shredded Chicken and Eggs taste so good! Not too sweet but just right. Affordable price also!

A biased review because i grew up with it. Nothing compares to it though. Chicken is tender, everything with just the right amount of spices for gudeg. Its still the best I‘ve ever had. Not an aesthetically pleasing picture taken mid eating but you know its got to be good.

Visited in June 2022. Need to find parking around the area because they dont provide specific parking lot. Food is a lot considering the cost they charge. I dont like gudeg generally, so cant say anything. For me it is just a normal gudeg. But the line was long. I visited on a Monday at 9 AM. You can just get closer to seller to request your order.

Legit, authentic, and pleasing gudeg around the Malioboro St. There were some lines at the breakfast time, but the seller’s quick enough to serve the customers. The price is pretty average among any other gudeg place. They also serve free hot tea and it was good enough.

Food was good but the price around 35-50k depend on what u ordered. Come around 7-8am and no queue.

I give 5 ratings because their gudeg is delicious and they add some petais and green rawit chilli. Eventhough upss I also witnessed one of the madames who serve the food just take banana leaves that fall of the bench and use it without wipe or clean it. But well I hope they will be more hygiene next time.

Food tastes decent. Can’t say neither good nor bad. Kinda pricey tbh. Long queue. Not all famous eatery tastes good 🙂. We take set of (rice, chicken) and (rice, chicken, egg) for IDR 60,000. Bear in mind the size of chicken is just drumstick not 1/4 size.

This gudeg is literally the real taste of gudeg you need to try. When you are about to buy this gudeg, brace yourself to wake up really early so you won't get caught in long line. I recommend you to take away the gudeg because there's no enough space there to eat in place (especially during pandemic)
