    It's an old hotel, so one of the bad ibis styles (others are newer). And with lack of guests, it's so gloomy, the service is below standard, no Accor level of grooming. Felt like entering and served by an old hotel place with clunky receptionist. Noone is around but that boy. Parking is so troublesome, you need to call to get help opening the access to the hotel!! And as it's a gloomy with no guests, no activities, no food service at night. No welcome drink too if you arrived late. Room is ok, not the cleanest. But they have the welcoming gift is a pro. Location is not bad. But with the "price", we expect a better standard. It's not a value for money (as you expect from an ibis styles). I am here as a member, otherwise would definitely go to other hotels. Not recommended. I asked the desk on the extended price, they replied with a normal standard rate (not following the previous ones with the member rate). I guess they need more training. Compared to those ibis styles with better team, this one is below the standard.

    This hotel provides elegant simplicity with a youthful design in the room, family-friendly and easy access to go everywhere. I was attracted in the rooftop that has a very colorful look, making me stay for a long time enjoying the air. The food is good yet affordable, including the drinks. All of the staff are friendly, patient, helpful. Hope all of you stay healthy during the busy holidays. As an Accor member, it is not a wrong option to choose Ibis and its network hotels to stay. See you next time

    I love this hotel. Simple and nice. The staff are all good and courteous. Just love the breakfirst. They didn't have must but try to give what they have.

    I recently stayed at Ibis Hotel in Yogyakarta and would like to share my experience through this review: Positive Points: 1. Strategic Location: The hotel is conveniently located, just a 5-minute walk to the Malioboro Area, making it easily accessible by foot. However, navigating by car can be cumbersome due to the one-way road system. 2. Spacious Rooms: The rooms are impressively spacious, providing ample room for guests. 3. Helpful Staff: The hotel staff proved to be helpful and responsive to requests throughout the stay. 4. Great Rooftop Bar and Pool: The rooftop bar and swimming pool offer a delightful experience, adding a positive touch to the overall ambiance. Negative Points: 1. Room Cleanliness Issues: The initial room cleanliness left much to be desired, with dirt from the AC on the floor, smelly towels, and a moldy bathroom. It gave the impression that the maintenance was lacking. 2. High Price for Standard Facilities: During the peak season on 26-27 Dec, the pricing seemed disproportionately high for the standard facilities offered, raising concerns about value for money. 3. Limited Breakfast Options: The breakfast options were disappointingly limited, which may not align with guests' expectations. Conclusion: Unfortunately, my stay at Ibis Hotel Yogyakarta was marred by cleanliness issues, high pricing for basic facilities, and limited breakfast choices. Considering the nearby alternatives with better facilities at more affordable rates, I would not recommend this hotel for future stays.

    after staying in ibis style SEMARANG SIMPANG LIMA we had great impression so we decide to book ibis styles jogja but so DISAPPOINTING, it was totally DIFFERENT and much below quality compared to the simpang lima one, we decline the upgrade as the room is not better than the booked one, not enough parking lot too, access to enter the lobby so difficult, just change the entrance to the left gate of the hotel, it supposed to be better situation

    cannot feel the 'style', more like as long as you can sleep... the room is old, the bathroom stinks, maybe it's stylish in early 2000, but it's 2022 my friend, and your price is not for old hotel, your price is for fresh hotels. Breakfast... as long as I'm not hungry, cannot feel the taste but I tested negative for Covid, so pretty sure it's not me. Parking... terrible...

    This is my 5th stay here at this hotel. Love to location related to the railway station. Only a 10minute walk. Staff are as usual very friendly. Room is slowly deteriorating. Floor is getting loose. Breakfast items running out fast without being replenished. I think twice before returning to this Ibis styles hotel. I guess it was a lack of maintenance during covid closure. After making up room; no more nicely folded 'swan' or 'turtle' towels on the bed.

    I have a mixed feeling about the hotel. The atmosphere both in the lobby and the room are not as bright as advertised. The reception asked in advance if i wanted a non-smoking room and i said yes. I was put in a smoking floor- with a direct access to a balcony. Room was dim lit, trace of cigarette smell was still lingering. Bathroom was patchy and dingy. Then i insisted to be moved to another floor - the non-smoking floor. Got moved immediately, room was not as spaciousc but has a better lighting and no traces of cigarette smell. Breakfast was okay, television display has noises so i couldnt see the movie clearly. Hotel is a 5-10 minutes walk to central station tugu, that is why i picked the hotel.

    I am a great fan of Ibis Styles but this unit is very tired and needs renovation as the rooms are showing their age. Its a pity as a very good location 10 mins walk from Malioboro. However the breakfast was good and the staff tried their best.

    Major issue on cleanliness. Overall is overpriced given the quality of the room, breakfast menu, and hot lobby. Bathroom need a lot of cleaning work. The sink is clogged, the water can't run smoothly. There are better hotel in the area with the similar rate.

    I came here for a meeting, and the meeting room is very comfortable and cool. However, the microphone always causes trouble. The elevator is very cute, so I took a selfie in it. Hehe!

    To drive your car to the front door and/or to the hotel parking, you actually have to drive against traffic into a one-way road. The parking garage is tiny and you may be asked to leave your key so they can move your car around (town?). Rooms are simple and are in need of renovation. Top pool bar service..... Big hassle to pay by card there and not a very complete menu of alcoholic beverages. Or ingredients are not at hand. Very mediocre hotel; there are better ones around Malioboro at similar cost. Breakfast is okay and my early morning was brightened up by one very lovely service-minded waitress arranging real coffee. Ask; they do have an espresso machine......

    Location is near Yogyakarta station. Room is wide enough but feel some old and not well maintained. No bedside power. No amenities. No soap, no shampoo. My room was not so clean. Welcome drink and pizza was good but room service menu is under estimation. Overall, not valuable for the price.

    Rooms are nice - spacious, clean/well maintained although the towels and linen could need a little more attention. The ladies at the front desk are super nice and friendly and helpful. But the guy (the manager trainee) wasn’t as nice and he likes to make up new rules and wasn’t as nice in accommodating requests. Great location with a short walking distance to malioboro, and there’s a tiny pool upstairs. Wi-Fi was quite reliable, and I like the water refill service at each floor.

    Kind and good personal, and nice restaurant. However the room was dirty, stains in the bed, all walls were dirty and looked like they has been like that for months (touching and scratching was enough to remove some) Floor was also dirty. All the room was incredibly humid. The smell was awful because of that and there were humid stains all over the room as well. The first day they didn't even put soap. After complaining to our agency they cleaned a bit better the day after, however the humidity made it so difficult to stay(actually is bad for health). There were other details and the room lacks for maintainance in general (TV not properly connected, etc) I would say at least work on the humidity, do not let people sleep with it.

    I feel like I am not a guest here even this is my first stay at Ibis Style Yogyakarta..πŸ™πŸΌ From the arrival, I welcomed by Mas Kamto Security (and guess what, he is former staff at Hotel Dafam Seturan that being my neighbour when I live at Seturan)..then I got warm greetings and fast easily check in with Mbak Tamara Front Office that help and assist me in the early beginning reservation!πŸ™πŸΌ When at room, Mbak Tamara (once again) helping me much with Mas Wayan Housekeeping when we need some assistance there and I surprised by cute sweet threat (and my son broke it before I take picture of it) from Mas Dwi Junianto Front Office Assistant Manager and team until my check out with (once again) Mbak Tamara Front Office helping me with fast and smooth check out process.. About the facilities all good, from the room, room service, restaurant, rooftop bar and pool.. Thank you so much for your warm greetings and kindness Ibis Styles Yogyakarta, very appreciate it and for me this is priceless..πŸ’“

    Hallo...I am Grace Muliawan, I stay at Ibis style for 2 days and I have a good experience. The room so clean and the cleaning crew do good job to clean my room. Breakfast have a lot of food and the employee do outstanding job to service the guest... Thank you for all your service. Good joob and maintain the outside area and make no smoking area.

    All things considered, a decent hotel. Clean rooms, reasonable rates. Sky Bar is good but some better furniture would make it even better. In particular, nicer chairs and tables that are higher off the ground will be better for taller customers. Situated in the heart of Yogyakarta's Malioboro area, the hotel's location is undeniably strategic for tourists. However, it's worth noting that the hotel's signage could use improvement. The darkened sign at night and the lack of visible road markings make finding the entrance a bit challenging, especially since the small hotel signage isn't very noticeable. Additionally, some of the amenities, such as the aging TV and the overall ambiance, reflect the hotel's age. Despite these minor drawbacks, the real highlight of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. The reservation team went above and beyond to accommodate my last-minute requests.     For those who looking for hotel in Yogyakarta, i personally, very recommended Ibis Styles. Last week i was hving my business trip. The services was like 5 stars hotel, Ms.Ayu helped me with arranging pick me up at station, with mr. Deny as the driver. All crews was so polite, friendly and helpful. At room, i got a warm welcoming bakpia from Dwi Junianto (front office mgr), it was nice warm regards. The room was clean and comfy.This is 3 stars hotel with 5 stars services. Will be back soon. Love it. Thk you all Ibis Styles crew.

    A little bit dirty for the room and restaurant. Bathroom design makes the bahroom easy to get wet, so need to be careful coz it is slippery. There's no name tag for the food at breakfast buffet. The taste and varian of the food just so so.

    Conveniently located just 5 mins walk from both station as well as the happening street of Yogyakarta, Malioboro Street. The rooms are definitely roomier than other properties of the same brand. Breakfast was a good combination of options considering the price that you pay. Amenities are provided, some on request only. A little more maintenance would hv made this just perfect. Definitely worth a repeat stay.

    I have been to some hotels in Yogyakarta, and I can say that with a very affordable price, Ibis Styles has given me better facilities than the others. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was standart and need more improvement, but its okay tho. The pool was great for chillin and spent time with kiddos. Overall I am very satisfied for staying in Ibis Styles and it will be my first choice of hotel whenever I come back to Jogja.

    I was here during my staycation in the middle of strict lockdown rules. On my arrival, I was greeted and assisted by Pak Dwi. He was very helpful and able to accommodate my early check-in request. My room was ready as soon as I arrived and a welcome amenity was waiting in my room, a nice gesture by the hotel! Amidst the strict lockdown rules during my stay, I can see that the hotel staff was able to give their best service. If you are arriving by train, I can recommend you this hotel since the hotel is located by walking distance from the train station, and to a famous shopping street and tourist destination, Malioboro. What I like the most about this hotel is their rooftop pool and bar facing the sunset! Swimming and having a beer while watching the sunset, my day is made! Thank you ibis Styles Yogyakarta for the memorable stay, will surely be back again!
