I was planning to stay for one night and decided to extend to be two weeks. I wish I could stay longer. This place is run by cool young guys. During my stay, I can see that the team are really persistent to provide the best for the customers. They are very detail for the cleanliness, taking care the plants, and warmth and good vibe can be felt throughout the house. This place has a cozy cafe. I got chance to try noodle, juice, and latte and everything was perfect. Overall, Snooze and The Team creates another level of standard how the hostel should be. Thanks for having me :)

Lovely staff, very friendly, beautiful property with amazing common areas. Very modern. Good Internet. Refrigerator can be used to store any food items. The rooms are tastefully furnished. Bonus 😊they have the loveliest cat who dramatically makes a brief appearance in the mornings to have his breakfast and get a little pampering from the staff (and guests are welcome too!) Areas where even further improvement can be considered- Snooze is leading chain of hostels in Indonesia, I hope they will keep up this unique position and advantage by catering to vegans, a customised vegan version of the Indonesian breakfast that’s offered to non-vegans rather than just fruit. We are in 2023 and vegans are now used to being offered something beyond mere tokenism, certainly not expected from a leading brand like Snooze😊. Another improvement could be to provide plant based milk instead of dairy milk for vegans. I have no dairy milk or tea or coffee and I was offered oat milk from the fridge; I thought this was given to me instead of dairy milk. To my surprise, upon check out I was asked to pay 15k for the oat milk per drink. It’s a small amount to pay but this would have been a great gesture and a fair one to offer plant based milk free for vegans in place of dairy milk. Also while the rooms are well furnished, the dorm room can additionally have a duvet instead of a thin synthetic material sheet (I mean a duvet similar to what’s on offer in the single / double rooms) and a shelf or stand to charge the phones. I stayed in the dorm for one night because the room was not available and I had to keep my phones on my bed while charging the phones at night- it’s not safe at all. Plus the bathrooms at the dorm side need hooks to hang clothes, a soap dish and such basic furnishing, there’s very little now. On balance it’s a wonderful place to stay and I would certainly go back to stay there my next visit. My suggestions are but minor improvement areas

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it! The hostel is beautiful with lots of greenery and everything is very clean. The private room we stayed in was cozy and the bed was comfortable. Snooze provides everything you need: delicious breakfast, kitchen, drinks, other food, laundry and tours. On top of that the people working here are incredibly kind and helpful!

I'm very impressed with the hostel and its facilities. Everything is clean and smells good. They have kitchen where you can make tea, coffee, or refill your water. Communal rooms are pretty and cozy . Breakfast is super delicious. But the best thing about this place is the staff! They're all super friendly, they remember and address every guest by name, and I had fun conversations with them. Bonus point: they have a cat! thank you so much for making my staycation a perfect one ♥️

Nothing short of amazing! This hostel is an oasis from the busy streets of Jogja & the staff are absolutely gorgeous, both inside and out. After having a difficult day, they put my mind at ease and showed me how best to enjoy their beautiful city. The bed was one of the comfiest I have stayed in after months of travelling. definitely a place to add to your list if you’re in need of a good nights sleep 😴 Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I hope to be back in the future.

One of the best places I have ever stayed. The staff was super friendly and helpful, they did everything they could to make our stay in Yogyakarta easy and fun. The garden was an amazing place to relax, the rooms were super nice and comfortable and everything was super clean. The breakfast each day was different and every option (sweet and salty) were delicious. The coffee and the juices they made were also very very nice. Overall an exceptional place to stay, I am definitely coming back .

It's a shame I could only stay two nights, but this place is definitely and by far the best place to stay during my trip to Asia! It's all very beautiful, peaceful and pleasant. I can highly recommend it! In addition, the employees are very friendly, courteous and helpful! Really a pleasant and peaceful place.

We really loved our stay at SNOOZE! The rooms, showers/bathrooms and common areas are extremely clean. The breakfast is superb - we always had an option between something sweet and savoury, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They can do laundry for you in case you need it. Plus you cannot beat this location. All in all a backpacker's / tourist's dream!! Highly recommend!!

Loved this place! The place itself is beautiful (especially with all the plants everywhere) and very clean, but the staff is what really made our experience here! They were extremely kind and helpful! We bombarded them with questions as we wanted to make sure we experience the best of Yogyakarta and what Indonesia in general has to offer, and they really took the time to explain everything and help us figure out the rest of our journey. And the laugh of Triss (one of the staff members) made the whole experience even better :) Thanks a lot Snooze, we really enjoyed it!

The place is nice and green, the location is super convenient, but the thing that makes this hostel so great is definitely the staff! They are happy to give as much advice about Yogyakarta as you want, they help you book train tickets, find you taxi drivers you can hire for a day, and they even borrowed us some money when we ran out of IDR and the exchange was already closed. They also know a great exchange rate place and their breakfast is sooo tasty! The owners are really friendly as well. What an amazing place!

Stayed here for 5 nights and will definitely stay here again if i visit yogya again. The place was clean and very green and nice, and the staff was just so nice. They were super helpful and really made me feel at home even though home is far away. Also the breakfast was a great start every day. Tip for travellers through java: they also have a hostel in Banyuwangi :). Thanks for everything and wish you all the best!

Awesome magical place, clean, a lot of little details, beautifully decorated, the feeling is like you are in a hostel taken by people who love and enjoy what they do. The people that carry the hostel are very nice people that will do his best for help you in any way they can and the cook nice breakfasts as well. Totally recommended!!!

A super comfy and safe hostel for a female solo traveller like me! The place is sparkling clean, the common spaces are very well accommodating and the staffs are very friendly. I came there alone but I didn’t feel lonely at all because they always greet and smile at me just like ur friends. They make sure you have a great stay and give lots of local food recos. The house is also located in a very strategic spot nearby museums, tourist attraction and food districts. Will definitely come here again for my next visit :)

Enjoyed my 8 nights here and in Yogyakarta. I was busy everyday and I enjoyed coming back to this place at night. Staff and other guests are very warm although it’s mostly couples and the breakfast was always good. Very clean and room service every couple every few days and unlimited iced teas and coffees. Probably one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. I would only have to say the bed I was in was sunken in the middle so that was not comfortable. Also I wished there was aircon when I stayed in the private but all good.

Hands down the best place for backpackers! The location is good. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel so welcome. They are really taking good care of everyone and the place is super clean and lovely. The mixed dorm is with very comfortable bamboo bunkbeds. Makes me feel at ease to be there. So easy to meet many nice people and to plan something to do together. Also the breakfast service is amazing. I can’t think of any cons and miss the place already. Lots of love for the staff and hopefully meeting you all again in the future!

Snooze Yogyakarta is an outstanding hostel in all regards. The service is extraordinary, all the staff is very friendly and the rooms are very cozy. The common area is decorated nicely and the included breakfast is unrivaled by any other hostel I’ve stayed at.

We had a wonderful stay at the Snooze guesthouse. All the staff are so friendly and they were willing to help us with everything. The private room we stayed in was clean with a spacious bed. Every morning there was a different breakfast, which was prepared with love. Definitely recommend this place.

Snooze is by the far the best hostel I have EVER stayed in! Beautiful decor ( the most amazing garden area ) , lovely breakfast , clean and spacious rooms and good showers. Such a friendly and peaceful vibe. The staff were all amazing - so helpful and also just so easy to chat to. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone is Jojga.

We started our East Java adventure here back in February and were greeted by very friendly hosts upon arrival with refreshing iced tea! They were very helpful with recommendations and the breakfasts were the best and most generous one in Indonesia, if not Asia! We had fresh fruits (4-5 variety) daily and the breakfast choices were amazing. The rooms were clean and beds comfy, the best part was the aircon worked quietly and effectively without freezing you or causing you sleepless nights. There were different little spots in the hostel if you wanted some peace and quiet and also a huge common area for interacting if you wanted. I would highly recommend this to anyone whether you're on a budget or not as they have private rooms too. We've been travelling in Asia for 3 months now and this still was the best place we stayed in. Thank you!!

Totally a great place to stay with the very affordable price! Bedroom was neat and clean, sockets in both sides of the bed 😂 Shared bathrooms but still very nice. Many sitting areas with tons of greenery 🌿 Good foods and the kitchen is free to use for the visitors. Amazing host and staff’s hospitality. Stayed for a night and would definitely come back! 9/10 ❤️

Most beautiful place for plant lovers. A lovely quiet street away from motor noise but close to food! And the people, the people are the best people you'll ever meet. Always smiling and so helpful! I stayed in a private room with my boyfriend.

Definitely the place where you can meet like-minded easy gpong travellers. Do not feel shy to introduce yourself to the staff or fellow travellers there as the vibe of the place ensures that most people will be up for any introductions. Cleanliness is a high point from Snooze as well (bedroom, bathroom and common areas alike) Bathrooms are shared but that does not make it any less comfortable. Definitely try the dormitory if you're up for meeting new people.

I stayed here for almost a week and loved it. The staff are extremely attentive and have made this place feel like a second home. The breakfast is delicious. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Plenty of communal spaces to hang out (and LOTS of plants)

We have been to all 3 Snooze locations. All very good. The staff is wonderful. Their English is perfect. They know everything about everywhere. They help with reservations, bookings, guides and drivers. The best service we had in Indonesia. This will help you big time to get your plans right for your trip.

It's been a pleasure staying at Snooze. Everyone was very helpful and gave recommendations an help. They even gave great tips how to get around and which apps you should use in Indonesia to get food, book train tickets or get a taxi. The design ist very appealing and you surrounded by greenery. The rooms are cozy and quite lovely. They only have cold(ish) water in the shower but after the first few minutes it felt very refreshing. All in all a great place to stay in Yogyakarta.

We had a lovely stay at Snooze. Everything was clean at all times, we felt at home and loved the vibe. The breakfast was great and the staff was welcoming. I would definately recommend the hostel and would visit again!

We were absolutely amazed by the accommodation with real urban jungle and touch of contemporary style. It was cozy, friendly and the staff was super nice, willing to help us with anything we needed. There are shared toilets and showers (not with hot water, which we don’t mind), but everything was clean. There is also a shared kitchen, where you can make some quick meal for yourself. Breakfast was delicious! (with best coffee we had in Indonesia) They take care about special food requests (vegan, veggeterian, gluten free, etc.). We booked this accommodation few hour before arrival and after that we were sad, that we cannot stay longer! We have absolutely nothing to complain about, it was one of the best places we ever stayed around the world!

If u guys lookin' an aestetic place to stay and afordable prices specialy if you are a backpacker, this place should be on your first list to choose The staff's so awesome they're so friendly but also casual Love it so much!!

i’ve never written any google review beforehand, yet snooze was worth more than a single review and 5-stars! the staffs were VERY friendly, kind and helpful, they even sometimes checked me up, whether i was feeling fine or not. definetely, more than a bnb. i was even planning to book for longer stays, yet psbb 2.0 forced me back to go to jakarta, hahaha. sukses terus snooze! i’ll book this stays when i come back :)

Amazing hostel with amazing staff. The most kind staff you will ever meet. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The shared bathrooms are also really clean. Definitely would recommend.

What a really nice place to spend your time with your loved ones or with yourself. I got so much fun while i was staying there. Don’t be hesitated to go here. One of safe places you’ll be able to go staycation during this pandemic cs they do consider protocols and strict to rulers.

The best staycation experience i HAD!! Super cheap place, very clean and very comfortable, extremely humble and nice hotel staff, super fast wide range wifi access, fill with sophiticated art all around the corner show great taste of the owner. Minimalist comfy room and clean bed make me cant get up early. The location at the downtown make it easy to walk to dinner, check out of couple galleries/gift shop. It also so close to the Royal Palace, you can also enjoy tour bike around the royal palace (bike hire is available at this hostel). Highly recommend this hostel for anyone visiting Yogyakarta The best hostel ive ever been to stay at 99 out of 10 Surely will visit again..

I was very sorry to have left this place one of the best parts of my travels was to talk to the people at snooze. They help me make my travel plans for all Java. Including where to eat go out and everything. Part of me will always stay in Yoyga and in this Hostel. You also cannot ask for a better location of the place

I can’t recommend this place enough. Everything was more than perfect, from the moment I walked in and was welcomed with a huge smile I felt that it’s definitely a home away from home. The staff is amazing, very attentive, friendly and ready to help. I enjoyed every chat with each of them so much. I stayed 2 nights in a shared room, which was so clean, bed comfortable, cozy and the curtains of each bed are a good addition, and then extended my stay one more night in a private room, which was great as well. They offered a private car which took us to the Borobudur and Prambanan temple. The driver was great. The breakfast was delicious and the fruits really nice as well as the coffee. The relaxing area it’s cozy with lots of plants. Give it a try and will make your stay in Yogyakarta amazing. Thank you so much to all the Snooze staff.

This hostel is an A star + hostel for everyone of you who's a solo traveller. The staff, the guests, the environtmen are homy and so lovely 🥺❤️ I feel like I just went home after a long journey when the receptionist greeted me. All the facilities are good and nice, the cleaness is kept very well, and I will certainly stay in this hostel again everytime I do a short trip to Jogjakarta. the place is super clean and comfy. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is easy to find. Cio (the cat in the house) are super cute. I'd love to be back again when I visited Yogyakarta in the future.

We had an amazing time at Snooze! Genuinely the best hostel we've stayed at full stop. The staff was super friendly and incredibly helpful, sorting out tours for us and giving us lots of recommendations on where to go and what to do every day. The room was super nice too, cloudy bed/mattress gave us the best sleep and even though only a fan no AC it was still a very nice temperature in there. The breakfast that came with the room was great too, freshly made every morning and you had the option for a sweet or savoury version (we always picked both so we could share and try both breakfasts). They even made us a breakfast box to take with us on our sunrise tour of Borobudur. Yes the showers are shared and yes they only have cold water but there's enough of them that you never have to wait and the temperature of the water is actually really nice in this climate so don't let this put you off. If you're looking for a place to stay in Yogyakarta don't hesitate and book Snooze!

10000 stars out of 10! I remember there was written on the receptionist table that this is not a hotel. Andddd obviously, it's feels like home, to call it a hotel was such a disgrace! to stay there was such an unforgotable moment . This place was not only provide a room to sleep, but a starter pack of happiness. The staff and all the people there, are lovely. Since the first time I met them, immediately it feels like we are a long lost friend. Or a finally-met far away family from our childhood. Without being pretentious, i can feel the love they shares are genuine. I don't even knew them for 24 hours but It's still captured well in my mind, a second before its time for me and my gf to go back to our city, the staff are excitedly spare the time to say goodbye with their laughter and smile. Such a lovely and a good time experience to be there. Can't wait to have another time with u guys! <3 xoxo

The staff are the friendliest people you can find. From the arrival to even after you leave, they want to help you have the best time in the country. They help you organize everything from your tours to your transport. It close to everything, you can walk to most of the main attractions in the city. Plus the hostel is extremely pretty with loads of vegetation. Thank you so much for the amazing time we had at your hostel!!

We loved our stay here! The staff are so nice and helpful, the breakfast is delicious, and there’s really nice spaces to sit in the garden. They even let us take a shower after we checked out and explored the city all day before our night train. Definitely recommend!

This place is amazing! Already when you arrive, you are impressed with the decoration and plants. Also the place is very clean, cozy rooms and comfy beds (we slept like babies after some though nights). Breakfast choices change every day, and are very good. But the most amazing of this hostel is the staff, they are so kind, always ready to help and always happy to see you. They provided us with endless tips and highlights of Yogyakarta, and even made sure we were comfortable after check out when we had to take a late train that evening. Needless to say we were quite sad that we had to leave after 3,5 days. Definitely recommend this place, best hostel experience I ever had ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I mean the hostels is absolutely gorgeous but I have to say it’s the staff that made our stay here truly special . Everyone went above and beyond to accommodates us in every tiny way possible. When we had to get up early in the morning they offered to give us breakfast boxes to go, and helped us choosing tours and arranging taxis. Plus everyone was super friendly and warm, would absolutely recommend this to anyone staying in Yogyakarta. Thanks for a wonderful stay and hope to see you again! X

Snooze is a little paradise. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the breakfast is outstanding, and the facilities are pristine. I am not someone who enjoys sharing bathrooms, but at Snooze it was not an issue at all. Regarding the bedroom, the bed is comfortable and the linen is changed every two days. The staff are always willing to help - I even got a hairdryer upon request! I can't praise this hostel enough 👏💕
