The room was clean and comfy. They upgraded my room to premium with no additional charge. I stayed at 6 floor and the view pretty good. Their hospitality amaze me. Hotel location, prices, and room, really worth the money. Even though this look like old hotel but this isn't. From lobby to room smells good. Everything was good.

I doubt it is a 4 star hotel. It's like 2,5 star hotel 😂 my brother checked in and given the key room but there were other guests were still in it lol. The public toilet is awful, it's like toilet in gas station 🤣 I was lucky not choosing this hotel to stay with my brother.

During my check in i was greeted with the whole Front Desk team. Mr. Fauzan and Ms. Wingki were very kind to upgrade our room to level 5 to be premium room. The carpet looks new, design i think new too. My husband likes the relax chair so much. A little minus is the bathroom, really need renovation and beds must be changed to be newer version. The lobby canopy, needs urgent renovation quickly because the glasses already worn out and we saw some long cracks of the glass. Overall with the strategic location, Cavinton definitely will be a go to hotel whenever people go to Jogja!

When we stayed, the hotel was not too crowded. The restaurant and lounge also closed due to health protocol of Covid 19. Check in process was smooth, we booked for two rooms. And both room we got free upgraded to Executive room, free of charge. The room was spacious, tidy, and clean, eventough a lil bit outdated but it is well maintaned. For breakfast they offered in-room breakfast because the restaurant was closed. But you can still order dinner or lunch through room service. The food also delicious. The hotel is in a good location also. I must say they have very good services, starting from receptionist, bellboy, security, housekeeping. They were very helpful & friendly, despite of limited resources. I would recommend to others that this hotel was very good. I'd love to go back again.

I was in the hotel for the meeting. The food is good. Friendly staf. Driving a car, It is not quite easy to cross the street to leave from the hotel since the hotel location is close to traffic light. But again there was always staff who is ready to help.

I think this building is quite old,i could tell from the odor of my room and also it has two small cracks on my bathroom ceiling,the bed is less comfortable because the spring is not working properly anymore,my room is originally a twin bed room switched to double bed room so it difficult for me to find the lamp switch,and turn out it located behind my pillow,they also forget to give me a bath mat.the overall service is good since they help me to find my lamp switch and providing me with a pair of cutlery when i ask for it Luckily when we arrived,they have a large group of guests from jakarta,whose awake until midnight,talking with loud voice and smoking in front of my friends room..

You can really tell that people smoke in this hotel. They did a smoke treatment in our room which helped temporarily until we’re pretty sure the neighbors smoked and made it smell like smoke again. It’s so bad all of our clothing and belongings smell like smoke after we left. I had a headache and my throat hurt. I asked to switch rooms but they claimed they were full. The room was so loud we were woken up at night by hearing other guests walking around. We never got a good sleep without being woken up by stomping. The pool is worthless - it’s so freezing cold you cannot even go into it. The bed was broken on the side which stabbed my husband in the leg. One of the pillows was stained. The wifi at times was very slow. Horrible stay!

I stayed at Cavinton Hotel for 3 nights. The location is close to Malioboro and local souvenirs stores. During my stay, I particularly like the food. They were all delicious. Highly recommended on the food.

I stayed for one night at this hotel. Despite being old, the interior was good. The room and bathroom were spacious. However, I encountered an issue with a non-functional power socket, and had to ask for it to be repaired.

Good hotel. Clean and nice room. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom is nice, both hot and chill water. Availability of standard amenities like soap, shampoo, toothbrush, sandals and clean towels. They clean the room and bathroom when we away, replacing new amenities like arrange the bed, give new packs of soaps, bathroom cap, and changing the dirty towels, that's what I like. Welcome drinks and hot coffee is nice in the room. Swimming pool also nice, even I don't have time to swim. Pretty good food. Will back​ again next time.

Im not at the place to give stars for the rooms because we didnt stay there,we just went to the restaurant at the top floor.and you know what...its beautiful and you can see all over jogjakarta view from thw restaurant.try ut and i guarantee you wont be dissapointed.foods and drink also the best...not mention the reasonable price too... recommended for everyone in your holiday to stopby here

The location of the hotel is a bit far (1 km) from the center (malioboro), but... The room is superb! Great view to the roadside . The lobby was very fancy with pandawa wayang decoration, loved the touch. Staff were very friendly when arranging check in and parking. Room is carpeted, looks fancy for a 4-star hotel. Refrigerant is available. Bathroom is clean and the towel were soft. This hotel has a great value for money and good experience, I guarantee!

I enjoyed my stay during Jogja trip at August 2023. Lovely hotel, friendly faces (including hotel security guard), clean room, swimming pool, and last but not least, the gym. Location? Superb! Just a walk away to Malioboro, Pathuk bakpia center, and Keraton-Taman Sari-Alun-alun.

I did not stay at this hotel actually. I was there because I had to give a lecture for new students. I had not a chance to taste the dishes. The hotel looks a little bit old from outside, but it is quite comfortable inside.

A hotel that convincingly dissapointing. I stayed during the high season that a hotel capability certainly under test. However it cannot pass the exam well. I was order for a spoon via reception calls to be used for my outside hotel ordered food as the restaurant told that they already closed it bussiness at 10 pm. Twenty minutes i were waiting in vain for a spoon in hunger. Still it not yet to came after ten minutes more since the next second call i made for reminder of my spoon order. Then i decide to walk to its kitchen to get my eating apparatus by myself. They made a desperating counter check to my direct question, while serving several clients at their list - that minutes before they said they closed the restaurant already. I dont quite care whatever their delivery procedure as my (or them actually) precious spoon was at my hand. These unfortunate mistreatment that i had to experience then continue at the morning when my half full plate of my breakfast nearly confiscated by the restaurant staff as they think it already finished by me. A little electric spark by me sucessfully defend the plate. They also had a touch screen like elevator that loose its sensitivity so you may have to make an extra effort to succesfully open its doors. Cleanliness was fairly acceptable ~that surely not that very clean~ also the front desk made a quick registration, two things that remain a positive value. I also remember a lady that made a quick response to my request of table cleaning at that hectic restaurant, so this lady was a heroinne of my breakfast. Avoid this hotel at the high season as their restaurant may bring you down. However for the low season, a lot of better hotels avaliable for you to stay and secure your comfort but not this one.

We stayed here for a week during march 2022. We got a free room upgrade from superior to executive, the room is really nice and spacious and the staff are very helpful. With the price that we got from an online platform, it was definitely worth it. Plus the location is quite strategic, although it is not in walking distance from Malioboro, but if you use motorcycle it will take you around 3-5 minutes. Will definitely stayed here again if I visit Yogyakarta

We got 2 bed coz we occupied it by four people. So the mugs, towels are only for 2. In the night, hot shower (really hot) helped us after long journey from goa pindul. But in the morning, it became warm shower not hot like last night😆. The service is quite good but they don't ask whether we needed help or not to carry our bags. The breakfast had many choices but I didn't try them all coz the journey from there will be long. So I won't make my stomach hurt on the trip to others sites.

The room is comfortable and clean. The bathroom is also clean and there is a hairdryer. Complete facilities. They gave a free room upgrade. Service is good and staffs are friendly. Wifi can be used well. The lobby smells good and there is a welcome drink. The drawbacks are that the lighting in the room is a bit dim, but if the window is opened it can still be quite bright in the morning until noon, and the TV resolution is a little poor even though the TV channels are quite varied. But overall, the hotel is very good and the price is reasonable. Will definitely come back👍🏻
