Great place to stay on a budget! Room was very clean, as was the whole BnB. Location is on a quiet street within walking distance of the Main Street which is full of live music/buskers and local food. Tourist/Western restaurants are a short scooter ride away but the BnB has an in-house scooter rental service at a great price (70k per day). Staff are fantastic. Very friendly and provide lots of information about events/restaurants/museums/temples in the Yogyakarta area via WhatsApp and are always a links during working hours. They even gave me a lift to the train station at the end of my stay! Would highly recommend.

Great stay here, loved the vibe of the space, it’s so well designed and stylish. The people who stayed here with us were super friendly. shower was cold but I was happy for it since it’s so hot In Yogyakarta anyway. Staff are kind and able to help plan your trip if you need any advice. The only thing Our room could have done with was a mesh over the vents in our room to stop nasty mosquitoes coming in.

A really homy place to go! The one thing I really love is, the dormitory room has no bunk beds! Javanese-style homes combined with modern-minimalist and natural decors really makes me feel like in home. The staffs are friendly, as well as all guests inside. ^^ And for the location: it is only 300 meters away from Malioboro Street, so you're already at the heart of Yogyakarta.

Very cool hostel with a cozy vibe. Its truely lovely. A nice and unique feature is the waterfall shower. Unfortunately many mosquitos.

The BnB is definitely not matching anymore the previous photos/ condition. The house has it‘s best time long behind. The restroom facilities/showers are really in a condition where I highly suggest to do some maintenance. Also a bit of general maintenance, like painting walls or keeping the kitchen area in shape and it will be back to the old, great times. The staff is friendly, but that’s it. No additional information or recommendations. A bit more motivation and your stay will be lifted to a different experience. To sum up - the location is good, as it’s close to the local attractions. The BnB isn’t anymore in a great condition, especially restrooms, showers and common kitchen. With a bit more motivation, it can be easily back to the old glory.

Absolute gem of a place! We turnt up pretty early in the morning, like 9am so our room wasn't ready however they kindly offered up tea/coffee and gave us towels to take showers( the bamboo waterfall shower was my favorite one out of the 3). They have an upstairs covered area with bean bags and some more comfy seats to just chill, work, socialise or sleep ! Free tea and coffee any time you fancy, they have fridges there to store things if you need to. 15 minuite walk to Malioboro Mall and even closer is the busy local market. Breakfast here is also great, local Javanese treats.

Yogyakarta BnB is located at a nice, quite location and is at a walking distance from Malioboro Street. The property is tastefully decorated in a retro fashion. Hostel provides single beds in the dormitory (No bunk beds). Lockers are available free of cost. They provide you decent breakfast as per hostel standards. Negatives : Self check-in & check-out. Staff not available in the evenings and night. No provision of hot water for bathing and no proper showers & wash basins. There are too many restrictions and rules. Parking not available. No concierge service available.

We had a great experience at Yogyakarta BnB. The facilities were great - there was 3 showers and 3 toilets that you could choose from. One of the toilets was a western style bathroom with toilet paper (and a hose) while the others were were traditional drop toilets with a bucket and hose There’s three common areas (two downstairs and one upstairs) so the area never feels crowded. The breakfasts and staff were both amazing! We’ve been in Indonesia for 11 days and Yogyakarta has had the best breakfast so far. We spoke mostly to Heyral and he was really friendly and helpful! He went with us to grab lunch and tried to organise a futsal game for his friends and us (unfortunately all the fields were full) The only downside was the room, it was quite hot and stuffy during the day and the fan wasn’t strong enough. For that it loses a star Overall it was a great experience and I’d recommend Yogyakarta BnB to anyone

Very strategic as the location is only a walk distance to Malioboro and Tugu train station. The dorm is spacious and clean. The breakfast was always awesome! Both staff are nice and helpful. I will recommend this place and stay again here when I visit Jogjakarta.

Accidentally found this bnb on my last solo trip to Jogja. Booked for 1 night on D-1, the staffs are excellent, and came with good price and great offerings. The ambiance is awesome, you'll love it if you are into fun backpackers experience. Will definitely go back there.

Very nice hostel, run by young indonesian travellers. They made lot of effort to create an amazing atmosphere they share with their guests. All individual made furniture, cool designed bathrooms, tasty breakfast and all for an very reasonable price.

My check in was really late at that time I spent a night at this place. But it was easy and convenient. The staffs directed me and gave all the necessary information I need. I entered my room smoothly. Mas Tato and Suroso (cmiiw) were really nice and helpful. Thank you. No bunk beds in their mixed dormitory room, and it was nice. My bed was comfy. All in all, this place is cool and clean. Breakfast was delicious, they served traditional yellow rice and a glass of fresh orange juice. The location is close to Malioboro.

What a nice place with so much nice details! You feel like home directly. Peaceful atmosphere. Room comfy. Rooftop to chill. Amazing breakfast !!! Free coffee and water. Slept so well and really appreciated the atmosphere of this place.

The price is affordable but this bnb exceeded my expectations! The place is homey and clean. They provided basic necessities such as towels, toiletries, sandals, locker, and drinking water. Located near Malioboro and other tourists attractions. There's no hot water for shower but no problem the water still nice. The staff are friendly too, they provided some helpful information about Jogja so we could have a convenient trip. Thank you Mas Hilman for assisting us during our stay. I'd definitely recommend this place to stay during your trip in Jogja.
