The host is very kind and the costs are incredibly reasonable, which is why I truly enjoy staying at Gorga Hostel if I travel alone. The location is quite advantageous and accessible; on Jalan Prawirotaman, there are multiple dining options and Circle K just off the road. The communal bathroom is clean and kept up to date, and towels are available for those who have a private room. Can cook and free coffee. You can place an order with the host directly for breakfast. And if you are lucky enuff, you can meet the big boy cat that is very spoil and cuddly boii 🐈‍⬛

This hostel is amazing! The hosts are so kind, welcoming and helpful. The hostel itself is very clean and spacious, and has great facilities, comfortable beds, and reliable wifi/AC. It’s also in a perfect location - quick walk to a street with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Probably the best hostel I have stayed in throughout Indonesia.

Nice hostel, very calm - not very social but could be with more people, good location. The AC started acting up and it got really hot, but they fixed it after a day :)

In Prawirotaman, the Tugu station is also quite close to Malioboro too There are lots of culinary delights around, It's suitable for backpackers, it's actually clean, only if it's in the dorm, it depends on the roommate too Then there are cute shops in Prawirotaman, walking to hunt for goods / some food doesn't feel tiring It's close to the tempo of the gelato too but it just tastes bad, sorry

Great place to stay. The staff are amazing and very helpful. Nice kitchen area to hang out. Clean and tidy rooms. Great location near several bars and restaurants.

Very nice hostel. The hostel is very clean with beautiful painting around. The owner is very friendly and helpfull. They also provide many tours as temples,Karimun Jawa and Bromo-Ijen. I highly recommended to stay here, and i Will definitely comeback. Thank you mas Timbul and mbak Novena.

I recommend Gorga hostel 100%. We immediately felt at home when we arrived, and extended our stay a couple of days because of the great energy. Novena is such a wonderful and helpful host, thank you for all the advise and nice discussions. The hostel is well equipped, situated in a peaceful street but a vibrant part of town. All in all a great experience. Matur nuwun! (And ❤️ pissang goreng)

I enjoyed my stay at the hostel. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. I was quite surprised to be the only one in the hostel. Nevertheless, they always hang out and chat with me whenever they are there. They also made me feel at home and really helped me out with the planning of my daily activities. Location is also good as there a convenience store and it’s close to all the other hostels and you can make friends at the local bars or restaurants nearby. You also don’t have to worry about food as there’s a few food peddlers by the roadside that sells all kind of street food including some yummy chicken satays.

We had an awesome stay in Gorga hostel! The place is clean and cosy. Novena and Daniel were so nice and welcoming. They helped us a lot to organize our activities and improve my bahasa Indonesian 😅. Matur nuwun dan pisang goreng!

We had an amazing stay at Gorga hostel. The host John and the team is amazing. They will help you with anything needed. The place beautiful, clean and central, so all of the places of central jogya are in walking distance. Nice cute and quiet but still lively neighborhood! Everything perfect 10/10 recommend and will come back!
