Was great staying at this hostel. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is very familiar and kind. The rooms are nicely done and clean and the bathrooms with hot showers are very nice as well. The hostel at a street with a lit of options for great food but also calm so the perfect mix. Was worth every penny.

Great place! The host is very helpful and friendly. It felt like home. Good place for backpacker. There is female dormitory available so you single female traveller don't need to worry. The bathroom is nice with water heater. Place near the famous Prawirotaman street. It's easy to go anywhere from here.

I can recommend this hostel to everyone without reservation. In addition to the very nice guests, you will find here an exceptionally nice, helpful and humorous staff. They help everyone in all matters as much as they can. Food, laundry, activities, recommendations for further travel and can arrange many contacts and reservations. Thank you for the great stay. Moreover, the accommodation is well maintained and well equipped with many hot and cold showers. It was a pleasure to have landed here.

This is a great hostel! Perfectly located with comfortable and quiet dorms. Everything is clean and the atmosphere is very chill. Over the whole time of my stay the staff was extremely helpful, especially Iván was helping me navigate through the confusing booking process of several train tickets. So in a literal sense: I wouldn't have been here without you - greetings from Probolingo!

I rate it as "good" because of cheap price of no more than 100k rupiah per night since i could wait calmly for my boarding house reservation, and good interior. It's really unfortunate compare to the Wonderloft in Jakarta which I've been there before for staycation purposes... The night shift staff were "partially friendly", i don't even knows it is the staff or just an outsider, but they have tendencies talking loudly and of course... Impolite which all the guest virtually could hear it. It is a shame since the staff in kota tua Jakarta is more attentive and professional and also hold attitude high but down to earth at the same time, which making me comfortable. The other staff at day shift were more friendly and hospitable which I like it... Pretty simillar like in Jakarta which they also serving alcohol at much cheaper price... 35k versus 39k in Yogyakarta. But overall my only bad experience is only at the time with night shift staff... Which were really unprofessional handling attitude and inviting outsiders, which speak words like "Anjing" equivalent to "A**hole" in English. If I were staff there i probably would handle their attitude far-far better since my mother is a flight attendant so i knew hospitality sector, but that one man, staff there were really friendly even helping foreigners directed them towards their next destination to other places, which i highly respected that men quality serving quality to his job, and really deserving to get raise. I hoped all the staff could be like that professional guy that hold day shift, while the rest seems to improving their quality more. I hate places that are rude, nor lousy but annoyed guest. Apart from that, the maintenance in the hotel should improve more, since the jacuzzi at the hotel were broken so you'll get cold or just warm water, but mostly cold. It is great if the jacuzzi could return to pre pandemic heat, and also would be instagrammable with that steamy scene at night, could promote Wonderloft Yogyakarta even better and invite more guests. Great hostel, perfect for solo travellers, always people outside or up the roof having drinks and up for a chat. Staff are so helpful and easy going. Great breakfasts - different each day only 30k. Good location, lots of cafes, bars and local food only a short walk away. Super comfy beds with two pillows. Clean bathrooms.

Absolutely fantastic, it's nice and clean and cozy, but what makes it stand out is the team, some of the nicest people I've met during my travels. I only stayed for a couple of nights, but the amount of attention and service I've got was above of what I'd expect from places like high class serviced condos. Kudos to y'all. :)

Enjoyed my stay! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Booking tours and shuttles through them is very easy. Female dorm is not huge but sufficient because of big lockers. Everything is pretty clean. Location is good!

The reception are very nice and helpful. The outside space are good and can make a lot of friends easily. Bed is clean and comfortable. Also can book some tour after arrival. Very excellent for solo travelers.

For a 100k this place is amazing for backpacker such as myself. Great service, staffs spoke english and are very friendly. My capsules was clean. Vibes was nice, a lot of foreigners looking forward to explore the city. There were some food stalls around too.

Great hostel. Very friendly and helpfull straff. They hjelp you with everything. I like the beds who are in a box and give you great privacy. Clean shower and toilets. They provide breakfast like toast, jam and some fruit. I miss eggs

One-liner: Good backpackers hostel but good definitely improve by paying attention to maintenance. Would we stay here again: No, but not because of any bad experience, but we would pay more for a better maintenance. What we liked: The hotel was in a very good location, in the street there were some very good restaurants. Furthermore, this is a real back-packer hotel, so people where very helpful with respect with tips and tricks and what to visit when and how to get there. Also there was a very nice bathtub in which you could cool down after a long day. Improvement: The room was not so clean, it had some damages on the wall (paint coming off), the lock was also not very 'strong', could easily be broken if someone wanted to, the bedsheet also had some stains. The showers were also not hot while it was said they would be. In general, the things mentioned are small and could easily be fixed, so why isn't it? However, looking at the price, this 'quality' is most likely also regarded as OK. However, our recommendation would be: increase the price with a couple of euro's and improve on the maintenance.

I love this place so much. This place is truly comfortable, beautiful, clean, and amazing. I was really grateful because I came here. Everyone can come here easily because this place is located nearby the main street. I wish I could come here again someday. Thank you very much.

Excellent hostel, I felt as if I was in a 5* star hostel! the vibes are great, easy to rent motorbikes to travel and visit the temples. I also visited Merapi whilst there. 10 mins from the centre of the city on a cheap grab ride. Excellent choices for food in and around the hostel. I highly recommend this place. Ivan and the team are also amazing people, very helpful with anything you need. We went to the mosque ramadhan market together where we were shown all different local cuisines. When departing at Mid-night, the team waited behind to wish us well. Absolutely love and recommend wonderloft, the staff made it 10x better than what it already was :)! The people managing are friendly and very helpful. Ivan and Wahyu were a great help with suggestions on where to eat, where to go etc. A mixed crowd from all over the world stay at wonderloft and its great socialising with them all.

Been traveling 4 months now and this is the best hostel I went to.. the staff ( Ivan, wagu and dualipa are the most wonderful and sweetest persons and helping you with everything you wanna know about Yogyakarta and all the good things what the city has to offer !!!

Stayed with a group. Had the privilege to try both the private room and the capsules. Clean bed and bathroom. Lots of picturesque corners with colorful tropical decor. The location is strategic, in the middle of the city. Main roads, shops, and attractions are in walking distance. Yet not too crowded.

So far stayed here for 3 nights, the room was clean, but the cleanliness at toilet area can be improve. The front desk so helpful and friendly. Hot water and AC works perfectly. Unfortunately there are no door lock at each other room 😅

I really love this place. Its so calm and quiet here, so peacefull. I love the design and how it makes me feels like home. Its good place for staycation by your self. I also love the breakfast! Its yummy and health!

Cute, comfy and cozy space. Their staff Ivan is super helpful and friendly. First time flying from YIA, and it’s a morning flight. I was afraid to be overslept, and asked whether the hostel has morning call service. There is none, but Ivan voluntarily manage to help me wake up that morning. Thank you Wonderloft! It was wonderful.

Absolutely amazing service, 24hr for 6 days a week. The staffs and the place policy is generous. I was allowed to take a bath after checking out even for my late train. 5 star. Rooms are ok. 4 star. Clean and bed smells good. Bath soap and shampoo available and the water is hot. Decent number of bathrooms so i dont have to wait and bathrooms are fully private you dont have to hear any bathmate sounds..upper beds have stairs to walk up, very rare and very good. HOWEVER. The water however smells of something chemical very light. May be some chemicals to purify the water. Just subjectively speaking but i can tell from my long hair which doesn’t get as silky as normal after a hair wash. The curtains do not cover your bed fully i can see the opposite bedmate… the sockets at my bed some work some dont. The front open space are nice at night but hot in the day and the sockets there dont work either sometimes. This might be very inconvenient for remote nomad workers.

We stayed here for two nights, it’s located down the road from a strip of restaurants and bars. The dorm rooms were well equipped with lights/plugs/curtains/towels for each bed. The hostel was clean with plenty of toilets and showers. The staff were friendly and helpful with any questions! Would highly recommend this hostel

This is a very nice hostel. I've stayed here six times. The staffs are very nice and friendly. One of my favourite staffs is Dipa. She is pretty, sweet, and kind. I like to discuss something new with her. Hopefully I can come back to Wonderloft Hostel one day.

It’s hard to say this but I think I will never come to Hotel in Jogja again. The bathroom in here is extremely clean.

Really great hostel in a nice area of Yogyakarta, close to some cool cafes, bars and restaurants. The beds are really private and dark for an amazing nights sleep and the air con is very powerful. There’s a really nice vibe in the hostel and the staff are amazing; they were so good in helping us organise onward transport, accommodation and give us loads of advise on things to do in the area. There’s also a small kitchen area for you to prepare your own food or you can also get the breakfast which was so tasty.

This place is great, the staff are amazing!! Super helpful and honestly some of the nicest staff I have met on my travels, they know everyone by name. Rooms are clean and very comfortable, it's not too noisy and the common area are all spotless. The staff are just amazing!!!

It's a okay hostel. Pictures seems a bit outdated. It's still a nice place to stay, but in the details you recognice some periode of time alreday gone. Citchen is somehow ok but not that nice. Unfortunately the citchen gets closed once the reception closes in the evening and you cannot access safe drinking water

The Hostel is clean and there is a good vibe. The team is very nice. It's in a good location. The little hottub is really the highlight of this place
