Great hotel. Sempat ada masalah saat check-in, pihak hotel melalukan langkah2 perbaikan dengan cepat. It's good to stay here and this is the best hotel in Pasar Kembang area. Near to Train Station and Malioboro area, this hotel is in prime area. Room is spacious, shower os great and aboce all food taste is good and coffee is perfect. Will come and stay for the next visit.

This is one of the best hotels in a great location. The breakfast is good enough for a 4 star hotel. The Deluxe room is also spacious. However, I do not recommend that you make long-term plans to stay at this hotel, especially if you are a company that needs to make detailed budgeting beforehand. The reason is, prices at this hotel are highly volatile. Some companies may need to make sure their budget is planned accurately.

The rooms are clean and comfortable unfortunately it doesnt have a swimming pool, so who want to swim should go to Neo hotel next to Royal malioboro. However since the location is very closed to Malioboro street and just in front of Tugu train station making the hotel is good choice to stay.

I only visited the rooftop bar so I am commenting exclusively on the amazing experience I had there with Aldo as my friendly, highly professional waiter. The service was prompt and I was instantly made to feel comfortable, not only by Aldo, but all the staff. This place has a great view of Yogyakarta. I arrived for my train to Surabaya earlier than expected and luckily chose this place to cool my heals. Completely recommend! I bet it’s a nice place to stay overnight too!

A quiet stay in a noisy city The hotel is within walking distance from the train station, which was convenient for us. It is a nice and quiet hotel, the rooms are big, have a comfortable bed and very clean. The personnel was very helpful and courteous. We were the only non-Asien guests during our stay and therefore the breakfast choice was for us a bit limited. Nevertheless it all looked very nice and good. Everyday you could have tea in lobby which was very tasty.

A new hotel located in the heart of Yogyakarta, and one of the most beautiful hotel in the area. Spacious, neat, and beautifully decorated room, quiet hallways, and great attention to details. They even provide 3 different size towels for your needs 😄 I had some minor issues with my first room, so the staff moved me to another room (they were very helpful and quick to handle the situation). They also have a dedicated all smoking rooms at the 5th floor. It's my first time here, and will definitely come back.

First experience to stay here for 3 nights while visiting jogja. Area walking distance 5 mins to the center of malioboro. Crossroad from hotel you can visit kopi joss in the night. This hotel has decent lobby, Nice room, comfy, clean & many choices menu for bfast, I’m vegan and I was happy bcos they served few choices vegetables menu & bubur. They have water dispenser in front your door for drinking water supply, they prepare jar in your room. What they need to put attention is odor inside lift, they need to change the air freshener aroma, bcos their lift smell like 🥴😩🫢 and not only me who feel this, my 10 people group comment about this every time they enter lift.

I felt welcome when I first entered the hotel area, from the security, driver (my assumption) , and all service staff. Excellent service. The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was just fine. The pastries, almost everything I have tried has been amazing. The service staff were awesome.

Having a luxurious ambiance, strategically located in front of the yogyakarta station and near malioboro. Nice and kind staf, good service. Complete facilities.

One of Best Hotel in Malioboro manage by Aston. Location is across Tugu Railway Station so it's very near just a few steps if you use Airport Railway Train from NYIA to Tugu. Room space is medium, comfy and clean. Equipped with 43" Android TV so we can access Netflix, YouTube, etc from the room. However, internet speed should be upgrade. Bathroom is open with curtain, but the curtain is not full close so if you stay with a not so close friend that can be a privacy issue. Breakfast menu is tasty with medium variety. Services is good, but there's still room for improvement. Hotel does not have pool and gym (still under construction?) but guest can use hotel Neo facilities as it is still Aston group and locate at the same location.

we stayed on November 12th. and we had a pleasant stay here. the rooms are clean and comfortable. all the employees are friendly and always say hello. The choice of food for breakfast is also varied, including traditional local food. the location is very close to Malioboro Street and tourist and shopping attractions. 100% will come back to stay here again.

friendly and helpful staff! I was there for a meeting. the place is clean and neat. no need for any comments. the prices for the fnb at the restaurant is still affordable. I ordered english bf tea for 50k I guess

Just a perfect experience during my recent trip to Yogyakarta. I choose to stay at Royal Malioboro by ASTON. A beautiful hotel, friendly staffs. I really enjoyed my breakfast time here. Buffet really nice lots of choice. Great service, will be going back.

The room is superb, the food is great, your staffs are doing a splendid job.. 1 complain from me, the pool is, idk, repaired or something so i cant enjoy that.. their solution is to go swim at neo malioboro, but i dont like the pool.. small, cramped, and way too many ppl.. what a pity..

Great Hotel Nice look, great hospitality, fast service, clean and healthy environment ... What else I could say? But try a little exchange ... The security to be more fast response and more carefull ... And the waiters to be more gentle and not so fast ... Having somebody's plate or glass from the table ... 😀😀😀

Had a very nice time at the hotel. Very affordable, close by all essential stuff. Room is clean and quite spacious for the price. Good varieties of breakfast. Additional plus point for the cozy rooftop, special shout out to Mas Aldo, always lovely and cheerful. Will definitely come back.

This is a very comfortable hotel. Rooms are clean and well serviced. The staff are very friendly and the breakfasts are very good. A highlight of my four day stay was to head up to the lounge on Level 9 and to be looked after by Aldo. His manner was very welcoming and his English was great. Aldo went out of his way to be of assistance- even going to the shop to purchase items for me. You are the reason for my 5 star service rating Aldo. Thank you.

@the moment we stay here, there isn't any swimming pool. But guests can swim at the adjacent hotel (Neo) which is under same management. Hidden passages are shown on my uploads. Ask staff for help. Breakfast food is mediacore, outside egg stall not equipped with paper napkins, although it's close to road, I have seen one plates have dust on it. Cakes is good.

We weren’t staying at the hotel, however, we had dinner at the rooftop and were greeted delightfully by Aldo who was our waiter for the night. He was extremely friendly, accomodating and helpful. His English was fantastic also!

This good really nice, the place also good……. The staff really helpful … but they mostly said No for request….. such as i boooked 7 rooms, request for 1 room to early check in and request for late check out…… THEY ALWAYS SAY NO…….. 6 from 7 rooms was really check out (at 6.00 am in the morning) I request late check out only for 2 hours (14.00) because i need to pack many stuffs……. We booked 7 rooms for 5 nights it’s not the cheap one…… The person i talk about is their sales team, and even not trying to meet me in real also :)……. Just try to upgrade the customer pleasant…… maybe for many people it’s not matter, but for me its REALLY matter Thank you

We booked non-smoking suites room but we got flexible room in 6th floor (smoking and non-smoking). Our room has cigarettes smell and other strange smell. The reception did not inform us about this when check-in. This is bad service for suites room! We found out about this when check out. The good thing about this hotel is strategic location. Malioboro just 2 minutes walking.

Rooms and bath room are clean. Love the bathroom door design. Food is good enough. I just have bad experience when i extend one more day. We have to move to other room, its okay. They said they will move my suitcase at 11 o'clock, and i was okay with that because i have to visit some place. I was going out around 9 or 10 o'clock. But when we comeback at 12 o'clock it said that the room is not ready yet, so we are waiting at the loby for more than an hour. So dissapointed because its just not like what they said before.

Great hotel just 1 minute walk from Tugu Station. New hotel, rooms are great with latest facilities. Staff are courteous and friendly, restaurant offers great food at reasonable prices, executive chef even came out to chat with us personally. 4 star hotel with 5 star facilities and service. Swimming pool was clean and with great environment. Short walk to Malioboro. Must stay here if you ever come to Yogyakarta.

It's a very excellent hotel, aside that i reserved deluxe room and they upgrade my room to malioboro suite room.. the hotell staff are friendly, food are nice, room is very spacious with complete amneties, cleanliness is also great and most of all the location just a walk away from malioboro area and also the train station. Made it reall accessible.

Stayed 2 nights at Royal Malioboro by Aston during high season school holiday & Idul Adha weekend (July 2022). This is a chic new hotel located at the heart of Malioboro hustle & bustle. With 2 children; a teenager & a toddler (age gap for the most challenging vacation itinerary ever 😂) our mission: happy kids while trying to recharge after 8 months of busy work schedule that allowed no vacations. Would like to personally thank Mr. Andreas, Mr. Aswan, Mr. Filip & the whole team for their exectional services ✨ So satisfied with our upgraded suite room with a bathtub & balcony! Here is my honest review about the property The Building: - Soundproof rooms - Very clean - Eco conscious (water dispenser is provided for free, so no more plastic bottled water waste YAY!) - Limited parking space, solved with free valet - Still half done, most facilities were still being constructed (kindly note: swimming pool, kids club, business lounge are not ready yet per July 2022) The Suite Room: - Bright & very spacious, has separate chambers. I can comfortably have early morning zoom meetings in the living area without waking the kids. (Yes, my work requires meetings even during holidays lol) - a very modern bathroom with a free standing bathtub & separated shower room. LOVE IT - Has another extra powder room for guests (toilet) - Big balcony that we transform into dining area, we hung out here until late night, eating takeaway Gudeg with Teh Kotak, watching passersby - The balcony allows fresh air ventilation in the room which is super important for us - Would suggest adding a dining table inside the room as plenty of space is still available 😁 Breakfast: - Selection is wide - Freshness is good - Taste could be improved - Would love to see more traditional jajanan pasar in exchange with pastries & bread Location: - Right next to the train station, very prime - Train honks are very LOUD, they will wake you up at night, but we didn't mind as we could enjoy the authenthic Old Jogja experience - We enjoy all day strolls at Malioboro. We go by foot, but you can also go by becak, or andong - Many attractions nearby, all accessible by foot too - Many speakeasy eateries & cafe, as well as live bands nearby, very lively & also calming at the same time. That's what we love about Jogja's Malioboro. Price to Value: On a scale of 10, we give 9.
