Very Good Water Park -- Bought 2 days ticket (for Bush Garden and Water Country) -- My Son liked Water Country more than Bush Garden -- It's for all ages -- Except 2-3 rides all others are kids friendly.. All Day Dinning option was good $35 for food is very worth -- We tried in Two restaurants both where very good -- We went on a rainy day so it was relatively less crowded on the day when I went.. Unlike Bush Garden Even General Parking is very near.. Restroom was clean and Neat.. My advice Go early at 9:00 they opened main gate, 09:15 they given parking ticket.. around 9:45 itself they allowed us inside(instead of 10)--No Q at 9:45 so we completed 3 major slides before 10:00 itself.. Also to add if it's Rainy with lightning then there they are very kind to re-schedule the ticket to some other day..

Bought the 2 park fun card and 1 annual pass for parking. We were in the area for a month and this is the best way to do theme parks for us. We would go at open and leave when it got busy. The park is nice with shade throughout don’t know what others are talking about, I’ve been to parks without shade and this place has a lot. Could use a bit more water on the concrete in a few areas. Tons of great slides, no wait hardly for the first few hours. We would pack food and eat at the picnic tables outside in the parking lot if we wanted to do a full day. Water bottles are allowed inside but no food. Bathrooms were fairly clean and well stocked. Enjoy!

First time visiting this amusement park, loved the variety of water fun, but the customer service was far from great. Needed to purchase Meal Plans (highly recommended) and the only place to get them was Guest Services. This amusement park only had one person handling all guest services and the line was very long. Customers were getting frustrated. Most of the employees don't know much and that was frustrating. Aside from that, the park was great. Lots of fun things to do, from pools to slides. Great for all ages. Prices are too high for souvenirs and food.

Conveniently located off Interstate 64 between Richmond and Virginia Beach in Williamsburg is Water Country USA. We visited on a Tuesday afternoon, 1 adult and two kids ages 10 and 12. I highly recommend purchasing your tickets online a head of time as you receive a discount off the gate price. Parking is 30 dollars per vehicle or you can opt for the upgrade to get a little closer for 55 dollars. After parking we scanned our passes, entered through metal detectors and began our day at the park. We found lockers available for rent of the three tiers available. 20 dollars for small. 30 for medium and 40 for large. For reference, small locker was sufficient for my cell phone, keys, three large bath towels and street clothes for us. After securing our belongings we went on just about every ride from the lazy river and wave pool to Colossal Curl. Life vests are available free of charge and are encouraged for children under 48 inches and those that are not strong swimmers. We purchased the dining package which allows for an entree, side item, or dessert along with a beverage every 90 minutes. Caveat, bottled water, beer, bottles of soda are excluded along with certain ice cream stands and funnel cake are not included in the dining pass. Fast passes are available for an additional fee to avoid lines if you so choose. If you are looking for a fun place to take the family and spend some time outdoors, head over to Water Country USA for some sun and fun; you will be glad you did. *something also to note is Water Country USA is completely cashless. They accept credit cards, Apple Pay and you can also load money onto a prepaid card for use within the park.

I was pleasantly surprised with this water park. We had a party of six: 3 adults, 1 teen, 1 big kid, 1 toddler. It drizzled for the better part of the day. We opted to get a cabana for $220. Worth the expense to get a break from the drizzle. We received a free meal (X6) with the rental. Come prepared to walk! Water shoes are a must, sandals barely worked out for me. The food was good for a theme park and prices. I saw people headed to their car for their food too. It's close enough to pull off. The park closed 3hrs early because of inclement weather. We asked to receive passes to come back and we got all 6 passes back, expire within a year. Great water slides/activities for toddlers, teens, and adults. No lines to get on rides. Highly recommend a visit.

It is a good waterpark for children to have fun, yes! It's a little expensive but the slides are very fun my 8 and 12 year old kids really enjoyed it . I would say that the only bad thing is the long waiting lines to get on the slide, but they have a fast pass extra purchase if you are not a big fan of waiting for a long time, but this is definitely up to you, also food and drinks are not good and they are very expensive and they don't allow any outside food or drinks into the park. I took my son to this water park for the first time as a birthday present for him and he really enjoy it! Outside of the food and the long waits, everything else was amazing! My son was very happy!.

My family and another family came to Virginia for vacation and made a visit to this waterpark. We’ve all agreed it’s easily the best waterpark we’ve been to. It was clean, there was plenty of shade and everyone was super nice and helpful. We came during the week and had no problems finding anywhere to sit at any of the pool areas or food areas and nearly no wait for food and drink items. If we are ever in the area we will be returning without hesitation.

So expensive! We paid $460 for 6 people to spend 3 hours there. Another $60 in parking for 2 cars. I probably won’t go back. Everything inside was crazy expensive too. $4.99 for a Diet Coke. $16 for a pretzel & churro. There is not a lot of shade. They don’t let you bring food or drinks in either. I wasn’t impressed.

The experience at the water park was good, but not excellent based on my 4 stars. For one there was a section of the park closed and second there was a big tube ride down. All the rides that were open were great, but I would prefer that the lazy river had tubes instead of floating down either by yourself or with a life vest. The food was also just ok. Lastly it would be great if there was a lane when entering parking that was a prepaid line only.

The water slides were the best part. The wave pool and lazy river had so much leaves and debris it was not as relaxing as it should be. My biggest issue is that you can't get to the rides without walking over the hot sidewalk. Even if you wear your slides to the ride entrance the sidewalk in line should be misted or treaded. Somehow the other water park have this figured out.

Unfortunately, We purchased VIP parking online and got to the park and had to be refunded due to lack of spaces made accessible. We also purchases a Cabana because we had all ages and wanted to make certain everyone would be comfortable. ONLY to be there was no service for food, no ice for water service, not enough employees for food service. This was very disappointing.

A Tuesday visit : Lines were so long we couldn’t ride anything it took hours for three mediocre rides. For the cost there wasn’t much to do. The lazy lagoon was our favorite. We didn’t get to ride the big ride they have there because the line was 2 hour wait. The food with the dining plan was GOOD. Probably won’t return.

I've loved this place ever since I was a kid and love bringing my own kids there now. I think little kids may have even more fun than older ones because there are water playgrounds and splash areas all over the park that you don't need to wait in line for. The lines are the only things I don't like about this place, on a busy day you could wait nearly an hour just to get on one ride. Try and plan your trip during a weekday and not on a holiday if you want shorter wait times unless you buy a quick queue pass.

Best place to hang out during the hot day and let the kids burn out their energy. If you have seasonal pass, it'll be even better to keep coming back to try all the rides since the line is almost always long! Good for either babies, toddlers or teenagers. Highly recommended.

Very large waterpark, in the heart of a beautiful forested park. It gets busy and the lineups for some of the rides are long as a result, but there is a variety of thrill opportunities for all levels of comfort. A lazy river and wave pool are great for relaxing and no lineups for those! A wonderful and fun way to spend the day with family.

A great day with a 10 yr old and two 6 year old twins. They had big slides, little slides, wave pool, lazy river, free life jackets, lockers, you can't bring in your own food. Their food is really good, lots of variety. Less walking then Busch Gardens. So kids were less whiney. But they love both parks!

Fun outdoor water park with a nice variety of rides for kids of all ages. Had a few areas of play/pools for toddler aged kids. My 7 yr old loved the lazy river and wave pool. Great options in terms of cool water slides too... from the mild to the intense. Great place for entire family.

Best water park to visit with friends/kids. Do not skip DROP and SLIDE rides. Try to take quick pass if you want to visit on weekends as lines will be long.

We had a great time here. All the rides were open. The place was clean. And the staff was really nice. The lines were long but they kept things moving pretty fast. The food is also really good and reasonably priced. Ticket prices were also reasonably priced. Parking was simple and easy. Highly recommended.

I've been coming here since I was in diapers. The park is clean, beautiful, and well maintained. The staff are MOSTLY friendly and helpful. The rides are great and I appreciate that they have added more umbrellas and shading, especially in the lines and rest areas. That being said, they were severely understaffed when we visited this past Sunday... which made the lines even longer and not worth waiting for anymore. Many of the rides had closed off some of their tunnels and slides too, making it worse. Management should be more prepared and pay their staff better ages to ensure that there is proper staffing... otherwise, it isn't fair to the guests who have paid to visit and enjoy themselves. Food and drinks are outrageously expensive as always, but that's nothing new.

1st time visitors and well this place is huge, I can only happier knowing they have the area to expand and commit to adding more fun. The hubba hubba highway is amazing a tubeless lazy river. How good can it be? We rode it for hours! Few parks where in my opinion price of admission produces an quality experience. It's a go to now when planning family summer outings. We even had beautiful butterflies in our cabana!

A whole lot do in water and with water. Remember it's a theme park, so be prepared for theme park prices. They offer specials, so follow them on social media. The staff is very nice and helpful and the Life Guards are the most vigilent I've ever seen. Do the Add- ons to your pass, the peace of mind to make your visit easier is worth it.

We come almost every week, the park is clean, staff does a good job, the layout of the park is better in my opinion than is given credit for. Would give 5/5 stars but I have never in these 40+ visits seen all attractions open, rock and roll island being closed has been a regular disappointment for both my kids, and I do mean it is closed so often than I share that experience with every person I've given an opinion on the park to. Would have perhaps given 3/5 but frankly the park does a fantastic job overall, just have the attractions being closed so often is sadly unprofessional.

It was an excellent time and my sons enjoyed it tremendously. My only complaint is I purchased the VIP package with umbrella and chairs which was good but there were other people around us who did not purchase but still using the same section. Someone should have been checking more consistently.

As a child, Water Country was always our favorite place to go every summer. However, now that I am an adult, I have come to realize that Water Country is not as big as it seemed when I was a child but still fun nonetheless. We went on a weekday. The first thing that I noticed is that the parking lot was nearly empty. As we approached the main gate, it seemed as if the park was closed. There was no line. "How lucky are we?!" I thought to myself as I approached the cashier. Then, to my dismay, the cashier explained that the price to enter for 5 adults would be $492. Hearing this sent a surge of pulsing electric energy straight up my spine. I could feel the hairs on the back of my neck begin to rise as the energy settled at the base of my skull. With great hesitation, I reluctantly swiped my Google Pay and we proceeded to enter the park in no less than 5 minutes. Long story short my friends, please eat before you come here. EVERYTHING IS SUPER EXPENSIVE! $12 for a 16oz Bud Light. Think about it πŸ€”

Nice place, several attractions were closed, but enough were open to be worth the visit. Not too awful big of a facility so it's pretty easy to navigate. Not busy, lines moved free and no long wait times. Food is WAY overpriced.. expect to pay 15 sum for a snack.

Great time for the kids. Great things to do. The queue to the different slides can be long, but they move fast. Big enough & clean. I got all-day dining tickets for my kids. I think they are no deal : too expensive for what you get, in my opinion.

Wonderful day of play with my teens. We enjoyed the variety of water rides, food, and treats. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lockers weren't too expensive. Bring your waterproof phone cover and be prepared to drop your shoes at each ride and be soaked.

Fun in the sun. Great staff! I've been to many other water parks and I really expected this to be bigger, better, and with less waiting in lines. I know that's part of the amusement park experience but it was excessive. Many other parks with better rides and not so spread out. That being said, this park is beautiful in keeping with the BG parks. The meal pass is worthwhile but the food is pretty generic. I Note: Logan P (Patton?) Was the absolute best. She was kind and helpful while we were in line for the water coaster and even played Rock, Paper, Scissors with my kid and a few others while they were 3 stories apart. Awesome customer relations!

Great experience. Lots of fun and exciting rides for all ages. Lots of places to eat. They had a deal for food every 90 minutes. I did not go for that but that seemed like a brilliant idea for large families or groups. I look forward to going again

My daughter and I enjoyed this getaway yesterday, being the first time to explore Water Country. A good day to be had BUT.. The website was a little confusing though. Parking is $25 when online I thought I read $10 Outdoor food is not permitted (but online says its okay) Smoking (online says no smoking in the parks, but at site had a designated smoking spot behind the bathrooms) That's the only few issues I've seen, needing information to be more accurate in person and online. But all in all, it's a great place to go to cool down on a hot day!

  • 5/5 Samantha D. 8 months ago on Google
So much fun for kids and adults of all ages! I highly recommend getting the all day dining pass as you can eat every 90 minutes and a drink is included. It was pretty busy, we went on a Friday. I think you'd have a better experience with younger kids during the week. Definitely will be back

Very clean and fun water park! Recommend water shoes of course and getting a locker. We got there early when they opened and were able to secure 4 chairs under an umbrella (see photo from when we first entered park at opening time). After lunch it was extremely crowded and we waited up to an hour in line for the Aquazoid ride (not worth the wait at all - probably a 30 min wait from the time you even hit the stairs). Our favorite ride was the cutback coaster but the tower shakes like crazy at the top! We were a family of 4 with an 8 and 11 year old and they went on all of the rides (except the Colossal Curl due to wait time). Food was expensive and just ok. We had 3 day passes from Busch Gardens and highly recommend getting the multi day parking to save money.
