Took my friend here for a girls night out and it was amazing! It is located in the center of town and a short walk away from everything. The room was a little small. The shower water pressure was amazing, fridge a decent size. The walls are so thick you couldn't hear a thing. The gym is super high tech. The coffee machine amazing. There are 2 bars inside the hotel. The rooftop Terrance was out of this world with views. The ballroom was classy and very beautiful. Everywhere you looked it was old world charm with a modern flair. I would so recommend staying there to anyone!

I honestly don't know where to begin. This was our first time at this hotel. My husband and I wanted a little getaway that wasn't hard on the pockets and that was close so I found this place through a work discount. Let me just say we were not disappointed at all. And we will be going back. From the minute we drove past the hotel which sits on a main street to the moment we walked down the street and into the hotel we were very pleased. The staff was amazing, the room was top notch. The atmosphere is amazing. And I never been to a hotel where you need to scan your room key to access the elevator to your room and to turn on your room lights you need to insert a card they have. They have a nice bar in the lobby or you can go to the rooftop lounge to enjoy the outside. So YES I highly recommend.

There is no on site parking so you have to pay for parking across the street. It’s $22 daily Monday to Friday and free on the weekends so factor that into the amount if you are driving. Other than the parking the hotel was nice along with the staff. It’s very secure. Only people with room keys can get on the elevator to go up to the rooms. The rooms are clean and the beds was comfortable.

Although we had a few issues making us feel a bit unsafe in the neighborhood, the rooms and staff were OUTSTANDING!! Alexis and Jess E were so helpful and gave such great recommendations! So friendly and fun! Bar staff were great! Rooms were LARGE, clean, and comfortable, making our work trip so relaxing! Enjoyed learning about the renovation from the project manager!

If you are visiting York, the Yorktown Hilton is situated in the nicest and most historically significant part of town. You can walk to so many interesting places. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms clean and quiet, and the staff effortlessly professional. I loved it!

Went here For my birthday dinner then after dinner we went to the rooftop. I'll say that the service at the restaurant was bad that day maybe because they were really busy so We waited a long time for our server and for our food. Overall the food was good. The drinks were well made. And the rooftop was beautiful.

Excellent hotel in the middle of downtown York. Rooms are spacious and very clean and the hotel has all the necessary amenities. While it’s easy to see it’s a historic site, the rooms have been upgraded and are modern. Lots of local restaurants easily within walking distance along with an arcade and theatre. Will absolutely stay again whenever I’m back in York.

We had a quick overnight trip to York, Pa to attend a theater performance at the Appell Theater. Our Brief stay at the Yorktown was very pleasant. The girl at the front desk the afternoon off afternoon of 2/7/24 was so helpful and courteous to us as we checked. She assisted us in recommending several places to have dinner, including giving us a “price range” of each place and location convenient to walking from the hotel and theater. The room was spacious and clean and comfortable. The hotel is also very convenient to the Appell Theater-just a 5 minute walk. Nice parking garage directly across the street from the hotel. Very enjoyable experience in York, Pa at the Yorktown Hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay at this local gem. Right in the heart of historic downtown, within walking distance of so much. But most importantly, it welcomes dogs with open arms! And the staff was all around top notch. Ever in York again, we would stay here.

One of the nicest hotels in the Hilton brand. This Tapestry hotel is situated in the historic center of York, PA. The staff is attentive, polite, engaging and helpful. The rooms are spacious and secure as a key card is required to access each floor. The lounge on the Penthouse level overlooks the downtown area and offers a variety of beverages. The restaurant breakfast is worth every penny. Delicious and very pleasant service. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

What a great stay and very competitively priced! This recently renovated hotel is top shelf. Historic flair with all the modern amenities. Rooms and staff were great, Very good menu and food. A nice bar in the lobby and great bar on the roof with excellent views. Nice to have a number of nice restaurants within walking distance - nice urban feel. Worth any minimal premium in price and the inconvenience of parking across the street - staying in the suburbs is boring.

This place is amazing! The manager went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and he seemed to be there most of the time we were there. He was wonderful, the breakfast was delicious, and the condiments were so much better than what other hotels give 😊

What a great hotel! My bestie and I came for a girls weekend and the hotel was awesome- from the clean, stylish rooms, to the 2 female bartenders who were working the rooftop hotel it was fantastic. We didn't eat at the restaurants, but we did order room service for breakfast one morning and thought the portions were good as well as the prices. There was a coffee machine in our room, as well as free coffee at the other end of the lobby. My only suggestion to the hotel is to have bigger trashcans in the rooms, especially the suites where there is a kitchenette. There were so many things within walking distance- from restaurants, to breweries to little shops as well as the Appell Center which is where we were going. The parking is in the garage across the street, and it states 25 dollars a day yet we ended up only paying 6 dollars for the weekend 🤷‍♀️. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area, and we will definitely be coming back again!

As a Realtor, I understand how important excellent service is. I really enjoy receiving superior service. I traveled to York, PA to support my clients who are purchasing their third home with me. The hotel staff was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and my room was immaculate. Next time I'm in York, PA I will spend the night at The Yorktown Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.

This hotel was a wonderful experience from check in to check out! Decor was awesome, the retained some of the old along with the newly renovated. Great lobby bar and rooftop bar that offered great views of the city. The staff is awesome! This is not a cookie cutter chain hotel. Definitely boutique!

Had a great stay. Old hotel so the walls are thick, I never heard other guests! I booked a few hours before I arrived and they said that room shouldn't have been listed but they upgraded me for free. Food, service, and cleanliness of room were outstanding. Was at first bummed the only parking was a city garage across the street, and the hotel didn't have a deal with them. Was told it was $25/day so I left my car there for a few days and took Ubers to the hospital to visit my mom. On leaving the garage my parking bill was only $6.50. I dinged the hotel 1 star for location as it's all residential around the hotel. Not much around shopping wise. That's not the hotels fault it's a 1920s era hotel and is absolutely beautiful. The rooftop terrace at night especially.

LOVED this place! It is so beautiful and everyone was so amazing! They were so accommodating for all of us! Victor took the experience to another level for us all! He was so sweet and went above and beyond! So grateful for him and everyone here!

The staff was very kind! The rooms are renovated and spacious, including the bathrooms. We felt safe walking to pizza, coffee shops, and other restaurants. The hotel has a roof top bar and main level bar with variety of drinks. Also about 1 hr to Gettysburg if you wanted to go for the day.

I went to a business meeting with a co-worker worker, and we had a banquet dinner and a tour of the hotel. The renovated hotel is absolutely gorgeous! We had a drink at the lobby bar which was crafted perfectly before dinner. I think my favorite dish in the buffet was the lamb pot pie, but everything was very good. Then we took a tour of the hotel including the roof top bar. The rooms are gorgeous and very well appointed. And the roof top bar had the most gorgeous views! I am absolutely going back for happy hour and going to catch sunset again!!

Great central location in the town of York. Facility and room was clean and very nicely furnished. They even added a personal touch with a welcome message in the tv upon entry into my room. Rooftop bar is very nice with good views.

Somehow York has had a revival in recent years and this hotel in particular has taken advantage by offering perhaps some of the best view of the city with its rooftop bar. Room wise, they are clean and fairly well remodeled. You can tell that quite a bit of effort was put into bringing the rooms up to date. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend.

Great location near food, activities and easy access. Parking right across the street was perfect. Tight fit with a truck but still able to park there. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay again

My husband and I were walking around downtown York last night for 1st Friday York and we stopped into the Yorktown Hotel to check it out. We inquired about amenities and were given a personal tour, including the penthouse/rooftop, ballroom, etc. We were very impressed by everything we saw on our tour, this place has a special ambiance, a great vibe, is beautifully appointed, and staff that we encountered were all very professional and awesome. We definitely will be back for dinner and also booking a stay for our upcoming anniversary.

We reserved 4 rooms for a family gathering. We were able to check into one of them at 10:00am to unload our items and freshen up. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, clean and in a perfect location! We enjoyed cocktails at the bar in the evening and a delicious breakfast the next morning. The staff was friendly and very attentive. 5 out of 5 stars! We will definitely be back!!
