This place is just wonderful especially on a bright sunny day. The patio is on the pier and you can over look the water while drinking an ice cold beer! I had the lobster and it was fantastic! The staff was so friendly and polite, I truly felt like a valued customer. There a wee bit of parking out on front. The deco of the place feels like a rustic and wooden cabin that's by the ocean. A magical atmosphere to say the least. Probably one of the best highlights in food on my first trip here. Stay safe out there people and be kind to one another!

Food was average, expensive. The chowder was decent enough for tourists. This is without doubt a tourist trap restaurant. I would not go into the boring details of the food, rice was inedible, vegetables were average, fries were from Costco, and the lobster was meh- but man did we have one heck of a server. She was awesome! Thank you! Four stars- because of her. For food: two is generous.

First experience sitting down for a whole lobster, was very cool. A beautiful view on the deck of the big cruise ship in the port, and my partner and I watched it leave as we enjoyed our meal. A lobsterita and dark & stormy were our very tasty made drinks, and we had two 1lb lobster dinners each with a Caesar salad. Salad was a bit lacking but everything else made up for that. Staff was lovely as well :)

So we are new to the whole seafood so after some extensive research we settled on this gem. Located conveniently by the waterfront and docks, the view is breathtaking. I settled for the lobster roll as I would of locked myself if I didn’t at least try. It was mouth watering. I couldn’t believe I waited so long to try one. The service was impeccable as was the restrooms. Parking is possible on the street but better off using the parking lot that’s right next door.

When we first arrived they asked us of we wanted inside or outside and went off to see if there was a spot on the deck and then sat us. The staff at the front was very friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere was very quaint and seemed very clean. We ordered a couple drinks and then the food. We waited almost 35 minutes for the food to arrive. The lobster poutine was phenomenal and the cream sauce on it had a very interesting taste with a slight kick of spice. The chowder I personally wasn't a fan of for reasons I can't even put my finger on. The taste of the cream wasn't a taste I was a fan of and different then any other chowder if ever tasted. I had come because of seen a picture of the chowder in another review and there was big chunks of lobster in it (not sure if someone posted a wrong picture from another place) so i didn't look at the menu for what was in it but not one piece of lobster which to mea seafood chowder should have lobster.. Especially at a restaurant called lobster on the wharf. Overall it was a nice restaurant, great views, great staff.

Wow wow wow. This restaurant superseded my expectations. I had been searching all over the place for lobster rolls! The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, presentation was beautiful, and I ate VERY well. I’ll 100% come back and I recommend this restaurant for any traveller or local seeking the ultimate seafood dining experience.

Words cannot convey how much we loved this restaurant. The staff were super hospitable, friendly, and knowledgeable about the Island. The food, an unforgettable experience. The lobster mac n cheese is heaven in a bowl. So, good we went for dinner on night 2 at the same restaurant! Enjoy this tourist season! Kudos to a great place to visit on PEI

Was a bit hesitant to try this place based on some of the harsher reviews but very glad we tried it. The food was good and reasonably priced. Had the lobster macaroni and cheese, crab cakes and fries The macaroni and cheese was absolutely delicious! The crab cakes were good but are very potato forward. The fries are Cavendish fries and we're very tasty and crispy. A bit over seasoned but still good.

Excellent experience! I was easily able to make a reservation and when I arrived, I was quickly seated. It was raining a bit outside so I didn’t get a chance to sit on the patio, but I’d imagine it’d be really nice. Dave was our server and he was friendly. We ordered the clam chowder, crab dip, and lobster roll. The seafood was very fresh! I would have preferred the bread to be toasted a bit more for the lobster roll, though I’d still recommend regardless.

Great dinner at the Lobster on the Wharf Restaurant. The service was quick, to get seated and order. We were seated outdoors as it was a nice sunny day - nice overlooking platform. Had the seafood chowder to start, followed by the lobster mac n cheese - both prepared really well.

This was my first time ordering a lobster dinner at a restaurant and it was a great experience! The staff were fantastic - they helped me out when my amateurness was showing. The mussels are so good and a must try starter. The lobster was super tasty as well as the potato salad and coleslaw. A must try for tourists and out of towners (like myself).

A must go when visiting Charlottetown. Located next to the wharf, the view is perfect for eating seafood by the water. Located in a quiet area with souvenir shops around. The food was great and there was a lot of choices on the menu. The whole lobster was fun to eat by following the instructions on the napkin. Service was perfect and the staffs were super friendly. Totally recommend if you like seafood. Pricing is reasonable for the experience. It's not cheap but there is more expensive out there.

Visited from Alberta this summer. Wonderful service and tasty food. The Lobster Poutine was great. My only issue was I wasn’t expecting the gravy to also be lobster flavoured so it was a little overpowering at times. Still tasty. Pro tip: don’t come here the same time as a cruise ship is parked in the harbour. You’ll be waiting a while for a table 😅

Me and my family were looking for a good lobster restaurant around the area and this place seemed good. We reserved beforehand so we got seated immediately. I felt bad for our server since he had a whole section to himself and had looked somewhat tired when he came to our table. However, he was still professional and was friendly towards us! Our food took awhile to come (around 45 mins) but it was worth the wait. My family ordered oysters and lobsters and I got a burger w/ fries, which we all thought they were tasty. Would recommend this restaurant if you're nearby!

The restaurant was very busy and they were short staffed. They did everything to make sure patrons were well taken care of. The food was good but the server (who says she rarely serves) was a delight. Had the lobster, veggies and potatoes. My table neighbors were pleased with their muscles, class and lobster. The restaurant was recommended by strangers I met on the street.

Beautiful views of the water! And a great location. This is a nice place to gather, maybe for a drink. The rest…is less ideal. I counted four French fries in my order which were still completely frozen (!); inexcusable under any circumstances, but even more so on an island famous for growing potatoes. They shouldn’t be using frozen fries in the first place. Cavendish is not even 40 minutes from here. The hostess was very sweet but run off her feet— she said that they’re perennially short-staffed, which seems to be echoed throughout many reviews. Meanwhile, on the hottest June 1st in PEI history there was no air conditioning inside; apparently it’s not switched on until it’s “consistently hot.” Seven people waiting for a table gave up because they were sweltering inside. There’s a great asset here: dock, seafood, water. The food needs to ride to the occasion.

It's a real 5 stars 🌟 We came from Quebec and my husband doesn't like seafood but he ate and enjoyed his food. Raaj gave us a great explanation of each food and helped us to select appropriate food based on our preference. Lobster and oyster were super fresh and we also tried bacon wrapped scallop that was delicious. It was my first time eating oyster and I liked the taste. Rice pudding was awsome! Something that I loved alot about this restaurant was their great services. They put hygiene and beauty products in the washroom that showed me how much they care about their costumers. Highly recommend it.

A great restaurant right on the waterfront offering lovely views over the bay whilst also being in a more ‘quiet’ area. We were greeted warmly (apologies we didn’t catch the ladies name) and were served by Raj who was attentive and friendly. My husband and I decided to share the Mussels in white wine sauce, he the had the Lobster Poutine and I had the Lobster Pot Pie - everything was cooked really well, full of flavour, great portion sizes and with really big chunks of lobster. To wash it all down we both had local Beach Chair Lager which was nice and crisp, it really helped cut through the rich food. We would definitely recommend Lobster on the Wharf and will happily return on our next visit to P.E.I.

A great seafood restaurant right on the wharf. You have a great view of the harbour. Got to see the the cruise ships come in and dock. The seafood was fresh and tasty.

Learned a lot about lobsters as we waited for our seats. Once we sat down, a local singer stopped by and sang a funny folk song. As for the food, the lobster rolls were good. The oysters were slimy good, lol. It's right on the water, and they have tables outside if you desire.

Amazing food, and the service was top-notch. Pet friendly. The server even brought out a bowl of water with ice cubes for our pups, and they loved bobbin for cubes.
