We ordered the ahi tuna poke bowl and the herb & garlic linguini with scallops. The food came so fast - it must have been at our table less than 10 minutes after we ordered. I was very impressed by that. It was all tasty and the serving size was large. I think the pasta was a bit too saucy - a personal preference. Overall, we had a nice experience at Papa Joe's!

Great lunch time with my fiancé and his family. We visited from Fredericton and that was our first stop after 4 hours driving. Ordered the cranberry goat cheese salad with chicken and that was incredible. Food arrived within 10 minutes with a full house. Trip advisor was right about this being one of the best spots in town!

A great lunch out for my family. Would recommend it if someone wants to get away from the tourist inflated prices in Charlottetown. The booth was spacious and comfortable. My wife and I had the seafood chowder which was so delicious that one of my daughters stole most of mine. My other daughter had a burger from the kids menu which cost $8 and came with fries🍟 , a drink and an Oreo cookie 🍪. Jodie the server was amazing. Finally, I ordered a coffee ☕️ and it came with free refills. A great experience!

Everything was great. The server was very friendly and took the time to respond to our questions. The food was excellent as well. I had the lobster roll (MP) and my friends had the fish tacos and the fish & chips and all the dishes were delicious and of great fresh quality. It was a great way to end our trip in PEI.

We ordered 13 Xmas Meals to Go meals and everything was 10/10. Each meal item was packaged for re-heating and meals included buns and a delicious dessert. Portions were generous and even with a majority of adults there was leftovers. Pick-up was so easy - everything was ready in one box and one of the owners even loaded it into my vehicle. Price was very reasonable and we wouldn't hesitate to do Xmas Meals to Go again. Thank you Papa Joe's for making Xmas Dinner so easy!

Very friendly and attentive server. Had 5 people for supper everyone was happy. 3 enjoyed the rib eye (very good). Two had a pasta dish . Very happy with the prompt service, excellent food and enjoyable experience. We will be revisiting soon. Great job guys.

One of the very few restaurants that when you mention to pretty much anyone on the island everyone loves. Consistent… fantastic food… great service. 10/10

Had Thanksgiving dinner here today and it was pretty good. The steamed veggies were cooked perfectly. The potatoes are real, not flake potatoes. Well seasoned gravy and stuffing (latter is under turkey). Waitress was friendly and skilled.

We visited this place for lunch while in Charlottetown, and we ended up enjoying one of our best culinary experiences. The quality of the food, the service and the atmosphere were really great. The prices are so reasonable. Definitely deserves a 5 star.

Food is always really good and the service is lovely in person. I have had some less friendly experiences over the phone trying to place an order for takeout but usually it's because they're overwhelmingly busy. There can also be a wait/line on weekend evenings but the wait is worth it because the food is great.

My first time and very impressed. Fabulous menu. Very friendly helpful staff. Food was delicious. I was in a group of 10 and everyone enjoyed their meals!

We originally had a reservation elsewhere but the reservation got lost and we went on the hunt for a spot to go. We settled on Papa Joes and added our name to the wait list. Eventually we got seated and they offered to take and hang out coats. Very nice gesture. We had the absolute best meal. We started with the mussels which were amazing. Just the right amount of garlic For mains we chose the bacon wrapped scallops and the chicken linguine. The bacon wrapped scallops were cooked to perfection. The linguine was absolutely Devine. Hands down an amazing choice. Would have it a second time or recommend in a heart beat. The presentation of both plates were beautiful and made the meal all the more appealing. Dessert, we finished with the strawberry New York style cheesecake. Delicious. The service was very attentive and friendly. This will quickly become our go to date night spot and highly recommend. They are very popular so if you are in a hurry a reservation is recommended but if you are just popping in then it is well worth the wait!

Celebrating hubby's birthday here on a Wednesday night. First thing noticed was the full house on a week night. Friendly staff greeted us and our server was prompt (attention). Now the food. Wow! We started with drinks and a flat bread appetizer. Now we understand why the server said one or two..we only ordered one. Table ordered 1 liver and onions, one seafood medley (sorry dont remember proper name) and two of the crusted haddock. All excellent! Birthday boy chose Bread Pudding. Very fashionable and clean Restaurant owned for many years by a local family who actually work here. Nice folks. Nice place.

Was a great restaurant. I had the lobster roll was so good. But my daughter had the fish and chips amd the fish came out looking like janes chicken strips. She tried it and it was a really gross taste and was soggy. Told the waitress and her response was well thats how we make it. She acted offended amd asked is if we wanted something else amd my daughter did not that food made her not want to eat anything else. In end she gave 50% off that even though she had one bite from it and nothing else. Not impressed with the customer service

Got the Seafood Chowder bowl... Could not be happier to have found not only a gluten free on but one that's AMAZING and very fresh. Love it, just might come back for dinner! Great food, definitely worth trying. EDIT: I didn't mention this before but the Seafood Chowder was loaded with fresh seafood... And I mean loaded. Fabulous! So much so I did come back for dinner (lunch was takeout, dinner was dine in) and it was delicious! Blackened salmon had a great flavor, was cooked perfectly and it was beautifully plated. The mashed potatoes were also very tasty. In addition to all that, everyone that I interacted with at the restaurant was lovely. Very much look forward to coming back!

The food here never disappoints, amazing cooked from scratch and excellent flavour. The short ribs and tata fries are a must have!! Will come again, excellent service as-well.

We were visiting PEI and stop at this restaurant for dinner one night. Great customer service and amazing food.

Pleasantly surprised by the depth of flavour! Fast and friendly service. We ordered calamari, nice start, the beef ribs were a favourite, perfectly tender with a mouthwatering gravy, burger was satisfying and well seasoned, and the butter chicken was very nice, accompanied by basmati rice, fragrant with cardamom. Everything we ordered was great - would recommend!

I wish six stars was an option. The food was amazing. We all enjoyed every dish. I would highly recommend Papa Joe's!

The service at this restaurant was amazing. The second we sat down we had water at our table & our cups never went empty. I got the butter chicken oh wow. It was probably the most tender chicken I have EVER had ! It was such a flavourful dish & wasn’t spicy if you don’t like spicy meals. My husband got the braised beef but substituted the potatoes out with a garden salad. The meat was sooooo tender ! For dessert I got the brownie sundae & my husband got the chocolate torte & let’s just say we were licking the plates clean. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants delicious food !
