First meal in PEI and it was AMAZING! The food came out piping hot and was delicious. The staff are so accommodating and kind. Our server was fantastic and told us about all the hotspots on the island close by as well as recommendations on other great restaurants in the area. The lobster was cooked to perfection and nicely complemented by melted butter. The burger was well flavoured and fries to die for. The chowder was incredible and served alongside a scrumptious scone. The halibut was excellent and potato salad really flavourful. Would not hesitate to go back again and again. ALSO...we picked up lobster to go that they packaged for the ride! Thank you for showing us that east coast hospitality!

We had a really good evening at Water Prince. The staff was amazing and very nice - we had some really good chit chat. The two lobster roll - ask for the daily changing market price - blew us away, they were really extraordinary good. The interior of the restaurant is also fascinating as you have so many different items to look at. Simply gorgeous! We highly recommend that you go here and have some delicious seafood. We advice to book a table as the restaurant isn't that big.

A nice little family restaurant. If you plan to eat here with a group of five, you better make a reservations ahead of time!! They have very limited spaces for large groups. The lobster was fresh and the chowder was amazing. Given that September is not the snow crab season but we ordered anyways - this was much better then the frozen ones we found in Toronto! Overall we enjoyed our dinner here!!

Lovely restaurant! I recommend you to book a table before going if you don't want to wait! My first Lobster ever and I tried the Lobster Roll it was amazing! Its really simple with bread a little lettuce and Lobster on top but it is very tasty. Would recommend 100%! Also I tried their strawberry pie for desert it was delicious.

Just finished dinner here and we were 100% (or more!) happy with our meal and experience!!! Scrumptious dinners: we had the lobster dinner and the crab dinner (shared between two people) and it was incredible! The seafood was top notch and served in a timely manner with the right tools to eat it (which I must say: not all places out East do!) Honourable mention to the potato salad: just like my Nan/hubby’s mum would make at home!!! Thank you so much for making our evening, in Charlottetown! Will definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting PEI. (Just be sure to make a reservation well in advance, as they do fill up quickly!)

I loved this restaurant so much that I visited it a total of 3 times during my 2 night stay at PEI! I highly recommend the seafood chowder (best I’ve ever had), mussels, lobster dinner and the coconut cream pie! It was such a highlight of our road trip and I’m so glad that we visited this gem while we were there. Tip: make a reservation! Also - if it’s a cruise day, they’ll likely wipe out the coconut cream pie inventory 🥲

We were able to get patio seating as there was 9 of us. The service was decent and I was impressed with the food. We ordered a dozen oysters to be shared as they were fresh but slightly pricy. We ordered the lobster dinner that comes with a cup of seafood chowder. The seafood chowder was not too salty and a thumbs up. 👍 the biscuit it came with was one of the BEST I’ve had. Could have easily had another one. The lobster was well made and like a lot of other PEI restaurants it was very fresh and well steamed. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Are you kidding me! Some of the best seafood is here. We tried almost everything. 2lbs Lobster was fresh and sweet. Fried oysters were good so were the fried clams. Scallop dinner was a thumbs up too. Probably wouldn’t order the clam strips again. My wife said the clam chowder was amazing.

The Missus and I along with our travelling family members discovered Water Prince Corner Shop during our walk around Charlottetown. We took the only available seating on the outside for lunch. What a find! The food and service were superb. The lobster roll was perfection. The fish and chips was also nicely done with a healthy portion of fish. We all highly recommend and agreed "You Gotta Eat Here".

Hands down reviews only don't do this place justice. They definitely know how to serve lobster the right way!!! The fries as it is a must to have in this province since the potatoes are locally grown. Oysters shucked were phenomenally tasty. The clam chowder / seafood chowder was devine!! The team there is just as well down to earth friendly and guiding us on a journey of delicious food and conversation. Keep up the amazing work, and don't change, please!!

Best Lobster Roll in PEI! I love the charming atmosphere here. Service was wonderful. We did order takeout. Food was amazing! We’ll be back on our next trip in.

The lobster tasted decent, along with the mussels and scallops. None of the dishes were our favorites vs other restaurants in PEI. Service also felt a bit lacking with us being left without water for a while (without a waiter anywhere nearby to ask), our mains taking a quite a while to come out (45+ minutes after ordering) and our table not being ready at the time of our reservation. In their defense, this was a Friday night and they were busy. Either way, I expected better from a relatively expensive, highly rated restaurant.

Best lobster roll on the island (so far). Even saying that, it’s going to be hard to find better. Great family restaurant vibe. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. No wait time, although we came after peak lunch time. The seafood chowder was very good. My wife got the chicken burger and it was also very good. Left it up to the waitress for a local beer and she definitely didn’t steer me wrong. 100% would come back!

Came here for dinner with friends and we enjoyed our meals :) I got the snow crab with mussels to start and no regrets, the crab was perfectly cooked and fresh. My friends got a scallop dinner, and lobster rolls. We weren’t huge fans of the potato salad or side roasted Veg but we all liked the seafood 🦞🦪🦀🧈🍋. Half star off for the bathroom being really dirty and unusable and half star off for the sides, but still an okay spot for seafood 🤔

Water Prince Corner Shop is a pearl nestled in the heart of Charlottetown, just a stone's throw away from the picturesque harbour. If you're visiting Charlottetown during a cruise ship day trip, be prepared to join a line, but let me assure you, the wait is absolutely worth it. One of the standout features of this place is its wide array of seafood options. Whether you're a seafood enthusiast or a casual diner, you'll find something to tantalize your taste buds. Their lobster roll, a PEI favorite, is simply delicious, and the fish and chips are nothing short of wonderful. While the selection of local beers might be described as just "ok," the focus here is undoubtedly on the fresh and flavourful seafood. Pair it with a local brew, and you've got a winning combination. What truly sets Water Prince Corner Shop apart is its cherry and upbeat service. The staff goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome, adding to the overall delightful dining experience. If you find yourself in Charlottetown and craving some top-notch seafood, make your way to Water Prince Corner Shop. Its proximity to the harbor, mouthwatering dishes, and fantastic service make it a must-visit spot in PEI.

Vintage. With a class of its own <3 Great seafood and even better ambience. It's not posh but has a great 80s vibe, which I totally love. The fish cakes and fish burger are amazing. Try the Platter for a little bit of almost everything if you are indecisive. Their cold potato salad is also really good. Large portions. Word to the wise - Be patient, great food does take time to make. Will definitely visit again!

This restaurant was mentioned in the book, The Great Canadian Bucket List. It was very busy when we went at the end of August, so I called in for a reservation while we walked around the waterfront to pass the time. The wait was well worth it! Their oysters were the best I have tasted. The lobster dinner was THE BEST lobster in all of the Maritimes! PEI was our last stop on our road trip and this was the best dinner we’ve had. Their steamed mussels were large enough to share between 4 people. The seafood chowder was indeed flavourful! Staff were friendly and efficient. This restaurant is a must-eat destination! Definitely highly recommended.

Friendly staff and service, however slow service when we went in, could be that it was a Sunday night and a full house. Food came out fast though. Definitely make a reservation, they do book up fast on weekends. Lobsters here certainly lived up to its name and reviewed. Fresh and tender, highly recommend their lobster roll and lobster dinner. I really liked the potato salad because it’s mixed with devil’s eggs. Lovely local spot and a must if you’re visiting. 🦞🦞

From what we’ve read of this place, we had high expectation of the food served here. We got some oysters, lobster roll, seafood chowder, and mussels. They oysters were nice and fresh and not fishy at all, tasted great with just lemon. The chowder could use more seafood in it. The roll could use more of the lobster in it as well. The mussels were actually fishy and the butter that came with it was very very salty, i guess it was good to drown the fishy taste.

Another great find! The steamed clams were big and juicy and the seafood chowder was so yummy. The lobster roll was also tasty. I can’t believe I forgot to take a photo of the clams! Will definitely come back again!

Fresh dishes with warm service. Seems like it’s a spot that locals frequent often based on the friendly conversations. Highly recommend a reservation during busy hours as there is limited seating - we had a half an hour wait during lunch for our group of 6.

This place was cute and cozy, and has been in the community a long time. The service was great, the fried seafood was average with high prices. We probably should have just ordered some clams or fresh oysters. I do recommend the homemade coconut cream pie!
