Went
2
days
in
a
row,
had
the
same
thing
both
days.
Large
portions
for
dinner
type
plates.
I
ordered
2
eggs,
1
blueberry
pancake
and
a
side
of
bacon.
I
did
not
want
a
lot
of
carbs
so
my
order
was
a
la
carte
for
each.
Otherwise
I
can
say
you
would
not
walk
out
feeling
hungry
after
eating
here.
I
was
comfortably
full.
Pancake
was
full
plate
size.
(
about9
")
so
did
not
order
a
full
order.
It
is
a
local
favorite,
always
busy,
always
full.
(I
have
been
in
previous
visits/
previous
yrs).
Food
is
always
good,
big
'down
home
east
coast'
style
menu
and
portions.
Burgers,
sandwiches,
poutine
style
dinner
plates
with
optional
turkey
or
beef
toppings.
A
local
favorite
of
the
canadian
maritimes,
called
'
a
hot
mess'
,
consists
of
French
fries,
gravy,
beef
or
turkey
and
peas
all
piled
on
a
plate
smothered
in
gravy.
The
turkey
version
is
also
served
with
a
side
of
cranberries.
I
sat
up
at
the
diner
bar
with
all
the
other
single/
solo
diners
and
there
was
about
6
others
all
having
the
'
hot
mess'.
It
is
popular
and
if
you
are
a
French
fry
lover,
and
can
eat
a
lot
of
food,
this
might
be
a
dish
for
you
to
try.
There
are
ample
other
selections
from
all
day
breakfast
dishes,
to
dinner
plates
and
sandwiches.
A
great
place
but
patience
is
required
both
to
actually
get
a
seat,
and
then
to
get
waited
on.
Once
ordered,
the
food
comes
quick.
The
longest
and
most
frustrating
part
of
the
experience
is
the
waiting
for
a
seat
and
then
to
get
waited
on.
Therefore
the
4
stars.
having
said
that,
once
you
try
it,
you
might
find
the
wait
is
worth
it!

'
hot
mess'
turkey
version
