Worst wrap I've ever had. Been going to Sam's for years. Tonight was given this awful wrap. Paid 20$ for a 1/4 full wrap. Sauce isn't even tossed into lettuce. What a disappointing waste of time.

The place is good for dinning, we ordered poutine and pizza it was very tasty, the customer service was good, orange pekoe tea was too good. Overall we really liked this place 😍

Charlottetown location is pathetic. Slow service. Slow refills. Meal size is adequate. I went to the washroom near the end of my meal -- not everything was eaten. When I came out, the table was cleared. Everything was gone, including the papers I has been working on. All in the garbage. Discount? Nope. Pay up and go. How utterly pathetic!!

A friend and I had breakfast on a weekday morning. The waitress was great and checked back on a regular basis. The food was typical breakfast fare. Most of the customers were 60 plus like myself, and there were quite a few of them. If you’re looking for a basic meal and good service this would be a stop to make.

Food is average. Service is good. Cleanliness wise, it’s okay. Price is pretty cheap. You’ll get the value of what you paid for. 🥰👍🏻

Ordered 2 three piece chicken dinners with a side gravy tonight. Tasted good, but didn’t get even one breast piece between us! A thigh, chicken wing and a drumstick! I could see if it was on special maybe, but it was not. When you pay that kind of money there should be at least one breast piece per meal with a thigh piece and a wing or drumstick. Also, the gravy was pretty much flavourless. Would really hate to see this place go downhill as it is a favourite, but if this is what the experience is like in the future I guarantee I’ll find somewhere else to spend my money!

Went out with the family had horrible service had to ask multiple times to get sugar brought to the table..had a sea food platter or something like that came with shrimp scallops and fish sorry can't rember the name..when it finally arrived the baked potato was hard in parts of it, there was maybe 6 little scallops the shrimp was over cooked..but I willmsay the fish was good but for a price tag of 24$ you would think you see more food than plate..I'm just thinking maybe it was a off night as I've heard great things on the food .

We had the fried chicken and it was awesome. The waitress Alecs ( hope I spelt it right) was fantastic, friendly and attentive to our needs.

Certainly not fine dining but the diner style restaurant is part of its charm. Good food, affordable prices, and decent portions.

overrated! the food is sooo average. there are far better places. shirley’s snack bar near brackley beach has better food than this well established restaurant.

Great food in this diner style restaurant. Lots of choices. Two in our group had the liver and onions, both saying it was very good.

The servers are so sweet very very kind makes you feel at home. Food was delicious. Keep up the great work. Loved the homemade bread.

Wow! Such a great, Home style restaurant. It was our first time trying this place. What a great little restaurant. We will definately be back. Had 2 piece fish and chips. Food was excellent, great portions. Food was hot, fresh definately repeat. Our server was very friendly. Such a great experience.

Sadly, took my family for breakfast yhis morning and 40 minutes after ordering, hubby asked how long for our food and they didn't put it the order. They never came to refill the coffee or water, we were completely ignored. We ended up leaving because we had engagements and didn't have time to be there another hour. At least they didn't make us pay for our drinks.

You can tell from the efficiency of the staff that they have been in business for a long time. The food came quickly and the staff remembered our order. The food was great and the menu is pretty good. Lots of natural light on a sunny day, and they do a really good job keeping the place clean. Really nice experience.

Sam's is a typical comfort food restaurant, with traditional breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are two sides to the restaurant: sit-in with waited tables is to the left from the main entrance, and take out and self-seating at booths is on the right. The same kitchen serves both halves of the restaurant.

Love, love, love, Sam's! Our go to family spot for a wonderful sit down meal! Consistent friendly service and delicious food that always leave me full! Specials are always nice to see on the way in and this spot is always clean!

Used to love going to Sam's... at one point in time I rated 5 stars ... than 4....now I am at a solid 1.... and that is being generous... I am still on hold with this location and at 35 plus minutes.... .... ( wasn't even welcomed I was simply told hold for a minute ) I have a large family... I usually order at least twice a month at $60 each time..... the last time the food was good but service was awful .... and I'm starting to realize service is even worse when I need delivery as I have a sick child at home with me.... I'm just not impressed with the communication...it isnt even really rush hour.. I called at 345... and it's now 415 ... Update I hung up called back and explained I was disappointed and frustrated about being on hold for 40 minutes. Placed my delivery order. Called an hour and 5 minutes later because it wasn't here. I was assured it was on the way , and I said it isn't gonna be cold is it.. if the delivery driver was late. I was assured it would be hot. Doesn't it show up at my door cold . Even the gravy a Luke warm. I will not be returning $75 after delivery fee and tip. I am very annoyed. I was a loyal customer.

Very delicious meal (stir fry), great portions and very friendly staff. It lives up to its reviews. PEI is very friendly place! Easygoing servers, very accommodating and non-rushed.

Large portions. Service was a bit slow and we had to ask once or twice for certain things such as a to-go box but they were able to quickly seat our party of 6 in less than 5 minutes.

Conflicted about what review should I leave. My partner had a burger and loved it. I had the poutine and I have to say it wasn't great. The brown sauce was a kind of jelly. Otherwise the staff was friendly.

Food was good. Service and wait time horrible. 3 tables came after us and 2 served before. When we got our bill it was clearly wrong and we showed the waitress who stood there and argued. I paid it as I was humiliated with the line up behind me. Almost 2 hours for supper and big disappointment given ratings we will not be returning. Maid Marions is where it's at.

I eat here quite often and the food is always good! You get a very good portion and it is delicious. The service was slower than normal for some reason but that's not usually the case here. Last night I had the lobster burger platter with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The potatoes were piping hot and the lobster burger was awesome! I can't wait to go back again.
