Beautiful and Peaceful Church. Great architectural works inside and outside. Reminds us of old days. Must go spot in Charlottetown and is the icon of the city. Have mass almost every day and a chapel for adoration for which we need a code from their office. Have parking spots all around the church.

Beautiful, peaceful, and well cared for church. We are thankful to have been able to tour this place that holds so much history to the area and spiritual significance. The architecture is incredible and can be appreciated by anyone. Those who have a Christian faith will be additionally blessed.

Beautiful stunning church with it's stained glass windows, Gothic art and architecture. Located in downtown Charlottetown. Walking distance from Victoria row and right across from Province House on George street.

A beautiful cathedral, inside and out. Admission was free but donations were accepted. They ask that you dress respectfully and not take pictures while services are in session (both very reasonable requests). You can walk right up to the front and see the sculptures and everything up close. Very close to a number of other downtown attractions - worth a visit.

A beautiful stone built church in 1916 ! It's the Cathedral of the Diocese of Charlottetown in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is named for St. Dunstan the Anglo Saxon saint from Glastonbury. It is located on Great George Street, between the harbour and the Confederation Centre of the Arts.

Beautiful! The details in the architecture is amazing. Everywhere you turn your eye, there is something to see. The stained glass detail is sublime - vibrant and detailed! There is a boat encapsulated in glass that is so small and the story behind the bishop building it is very interesting. Full story is provided beside the boat itself! Very baroque style building that reminds me of the ones I got to experience in Paris. Worth seeing.

Unfortunately we were late to reach the church as it was closed but we got a good view of design from outside. The area is good for a leisurely evening walk

We decided to go for the Sunday service and also see the interior of church. The moment we walked in there were two guys were following us to where we were going to sit. We were expecting a warm community environment as how we felt from the moment we came to this beautiful city but we felt not welcoming so we left right away without even sitting. The guy that was following me and my daughter walked out behind us few sec later with a sign “no visitor” not at least a sign that says “NO TOURIST”.Anyhow as a reviewer I would suggest don’t bother to go to see visit the Church as they will make sure you are not welcomed. I was so rushed out that I really couldn’t see much of inside the church to comment on it but in the quick look it was beautiful.

Beautiful building, but the environment was terrible. First, the church is only open for mass/prayer and is not open at all for visiting, which is not good in my opinion as the building deserves attention from the public. Despite all these barriers, my mom and I were set to see this beautiful building and dressed in our Sunday best to see the basilica at Sunday mass. As we walked in, we felt immediately that we were unwelcome. So we peeked around a bit (some guy followed us as if he thought our activity were suspicious). Might I add my mom and I are both Persian, although we are both Canadian citizens, I was born in Canada and she has been in Canada for 21 years. Nevertheless, the atmosphere made us feel uncomfortable, so we left after two minutes. The moment we left, the man who followed us around inside placed a sign outside the Basilica reading “No Visitors”. We tried to snap a picture of it but he changed his mind and brought it back inside very quickly. Overall, not a great experience but the basilica was beautiful. 0/5 stars for experience, 5/5 for objective beauty of the basilica to give a rough average of 2/5 stars.

Absolutely beautiful. What a great place to visit! Even if you're not Christian, the colors and thr architecture are amazing. There was a reverence inside the building which was breathtaking. The ceilings, the stained glass, all of it were amazing. I would love just to sit in there for a while and take it all in. Definetly a great place to stop while your walking around the town. Even if you choose not to go inside.

👍 Not really sure why this is labeled a farmers market as there are only about two booths with fruits or vegetables. As an artisan market though this is splendid. Lots of space, great atmosphere, vendors are all super friendly. Lots of crafts and food to enjoy.
