We had a terrific stay. Everything was clean and modern. The only issue I had is that there is no parking in the hotel itself. You either have to park in the street or in a parking lot up the street. Makes it a little inconvenient but other than this, it was a great stay.

Hotel lobby and levels look really neat. The room felt very small (we had 2 queen bed room). The view on the 8th floor is really nice however the windows are quite dirty. The glass shower doesn’t have a door so it’s a bit chilly having a shower and the water splashes all over the bathroom. Some mold in the shower grout. The robes are a nice touch though. We had a romance package which was a good deal over all with the dinner credit, bottle of wine and valet parking but they use fake rose pedals for decorating and the chocolate surprise is just two small chocolates that are stale. Make sure to check the bill at checkout. Some of the items were included in our romance package but they charged it as extras which we had to ask them to correct and get a refund.

I stay here for work a few times a year, and I've had a positive experience every time. Special shout out to Antenique at front desk! She goes above and beyond every time I stay. One time I was in a rush checking in because I had to catch a cab to an event, and she told me to leave my bags and she'd ensure they'd get to my room. The rooms are always clean, crisp and comfortable. The views are gorgeous and the location can't be beat if you want to walk to Charlottetown's restaurants and entertainment venues. They have robes!! Bring your bathing suite - large hot tub and nice pool on the lower level. I love this hotel and highly recommend staying here if you are headed to Charlottetown. You won't be disappointed.

Wow! We rented the penthouse suite for an even for work. We had two of the rooms. Beautiful views. Pretty upscale boutique hotel, and restaurant. Basically across the street from the water. Would stay here again without hesitation!

We went to the restaurant for coffee and desserts. Both the sticky toffee cake and the chocolate cake were great. The staff and service was excellent as well. Located close to Cow’s ice cream shop on Queen’s Street and the Anne and Gilbert musical.

I have no complaints regarding the staff, as they were friendly and accommodating. However, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not be staying there again. 1) I was expecting better service from a hotel that does not provide parking or breakfast. 2) Our room did not have any notepaper, pens, nor robes. (Which was an oversight by the staff). 3) The elevators take an inordinate amount of time to be called - there are only two in the hotel, and they are mostly occupied by cleaning staff. 4) Showers are constructed in such a way that there is no choice but to end up with a pool of water on the bathroom floor. (there is no shower curtain; just a holf wall of glass, and then a half wall of open space. 5) Shower heads are installed very low on the wall. If you are 5'10 or taller - good luck. 6) We were woken at 8:20 AM by a staff member who repeatedly kept knocking on our door. When I asked what they wanted, they said, "Did you need any towels?". We had not request towels, nor did we request room service. 7) If you are looking for an adult experience, this is not the hotel for you. There were a plethora of children running and yelling in the hallways most of the day and evening.

Amazing hotel in the center of the city but at the same time very quiet. Very good noise isolation and the doors are not slamming like in many other hotels. The pool and spa were great as well. Service was courteous. Definitely recommend!!

Shower has no curtain just a glass wall that isn't long enough so water gets all over the floor. TVs are not smart TVs Otherwise the room is Nice

Amazing first trip to the Island. The hotel lunch was amazing. View from my 9th gloor corner room was stunning during the day and evening. Too many shopping options expanded my hat and purse collection.

Nice rooms, great restaurant and a perfect location. But the real stars are the staff. They were all great, but Antenique at the front desk is a rock star! She went above and beyond making sure my stay in Charlottetown was as smooth as possible. Give that woman a raise! She’s an absolute gem!

Great location ; close to all the activity in downtown. Attentive staff. Loved the water cooler in the lobby to replenish the waterborne every day. The staff had lots of suggestions for activity and went above and beyond to help to have a great experience.

Great service, very clean. We enjoyed the 4th floor suites with a terrace, and a beautiful view with a sunset. They were able to help me last minute. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Charlottetown.

I always enjoy my stays at this hotel, however during my latest trip I had a few unique circumstances come up personally. Manu at the guest services desk was extremely helpful and willing to do whatever he and the hotel could in order to help me. I highly recommend this hotel not only its comfort and cleanliness, but for the exceptional guest services as well.

Terrific service from the staff. Couldn't have asked for a better location right in the heart of Charlottetown. Rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat

Truly a 4 star, room design was really great. As a high frequency and having been in PEI a few years back with my kids this hotel has it all. Central location, great restaurant, awesome amenities in the room and a solid pool (with fantastic hours may I add, as a business traveller it’s useless to have pool hours that match most business hours). It’s also attached to a very nice mall with a Shoppers Pharmacy in it and there is a very well lit, very safe and warm underground walkway to the fabulous Confederation Center (a national treasure and must-see).

Very helpful staff at front desk. Clean rooms. Nice hot tub and pool. Could use a bench for changing in pool washroom and a bathing suit’s dryer.

Beautiful bar and restaurant with good food and cocktails. The mojitoes are excellent. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I would recommend you ask the total of your bill before leaving as they don't give out paper copies. We had a small problem with hours but a quick phone call had it straightened out.

We stayed here on our wedding night. Asked for an early check in , they couldn’t accommodate it. Our wedding was at 4pm, so we didn’t end up getting to the hotel until 1am. When we checked in we asked if we could have a late check out and was told we would have to call in the morning to ask for a late check out. When I called in the morning they offered us a late check out of an extra 20 mins. What a joke. Would never stay here again.

This is an impressive pet friendly hotel with a perfect location in downtown Charlottetown. Pretty well everything is within walking distance- the Confederation Center, the waterfront, hiking trails, shops and restaurants. You can expect a warm welcome at the front desk and an immaculately clean room. Bonus - the rooms have no carpets and there is a small window to let in fresh air! If you don’t find one of their cozy bathrobes in your closet, advise the front desk and they will make sure you have one for your stay. I highly recommend the Holman Grand Hotel for a visit to PEI’s beautiful capital city.

Had a beautiful 3 night stay with my family! Beautiful views, clean room, great staff, and an excellent location! Easy walk to all amenities. Room service and food was great, kids loved the pool! Thank you for a great weekend.

Front desk service was exceptional, and accommodating - the room however felt like a dungeon - little to no natural light and the main selling feature - the semiprivate patio/ balcony is as per the image - an exhibition of Air Conditioners, which during the summer, which we stayed in, are both unsightly and extremely loud. I had to raise my voice to have a normal conversation while trying to enjoy the outside. Inside the absence of natural light had the room feeling cavelike, and the window between the room patio stairs and the washroom took away any privacy that could be expected. Overall this experience is not one I intend on repeating, or recommend on having for anyone (especially considering the relative price). Front desk staff however - awesome!

For the price paid, it was just okay. Rooms were small and showed a little wear. Cleaning was a little lacking in comparison to other hotels I have recently stayed at, e.g., remote control wasn't sanitized. Gym (a couple treadmills, stair climber, bike, and a small selection of free weights but no wipes to sanitize equipment ) and pool (no towels) weren't very large. Service was good though.

Excellent hotel and restaurant. During a pinch when my parents had no power, they booked into this hotel for a few nights. It worked out well. The restaurant was great and they worked us in even when they were very busy. The room was spotless and we had a great view. The beds were apparently very comfortable. Service was very attentive and overall very good.

Great stay last week! What I loved most was the location, stepping outside to the heart of the night life, restaurants and the beautiful scenery. The hotel was very quiet, at night we couldn’t hear doors shutting or the elevator as you normally would in hotel rooms. I would come back here. Parking was our responsibility, but the staff helped us find covered parkade that was 8.50 per day. Very reasonable, but free on weekends.

Stayed here two nights, and in a road trip of many hotels, this was by far the friendliest, best managed, and best laid-out hotel we stayed in. Had several interesting chats with staff, they fixed a few problems for us. Our room was super quiet thanks to its design. Location could not be better. We also met a refugee who had just been hired recently. We had a great conversation with them, and they said they were super grateful management took a chance on them, and they enjoyed the work, and were being treated exceptionally. This is the kind of place with a clear vision, of what they want the experience to be and I am here for it.

really recommend getting the rooms with a terrace. they are huge. spacious rooms with an interesting energy efficient light system i have never seen before (you have to be in the room with a keycard to make them work). very central while also private/quiet.

We had a great experience here on our honeymoon. Fantastic spot for a romantic getaway. Make sure you get the suite with jacuzzi tub and the city view. City Lights room I believe. It felt like we had our own little spa inside our suite. All the amenities are thought of and the front desk will gladly bring anything else you need up to you very quickly. Only downfall to this hotel is the price. It was just a bit too high, but if you want to get a regular room it would be a better price no doubt, but the experience would obviously be different. This hotel is attached to the mall, so easy access to many shops and eateries. Parking is in the mall and a bit of a walk but if it's raining you can do it all inside. Amazing location downtown Charlottetown. Worth a stay for sure!

4 weeks on the east coast, a different town every night and this was one of if not my favourtie place to stay. Top notch service, standards, overall quality. Restaurant in lobby is also excellent.

Fabulous rooms, super cozy and comfy bed. Be forewarned that the room WiFi is pay, which is ridiculous, the in-house restaurant is pricey, and the food isn't great. NO breakfast is included. As long as you eat out and don't need WiFi (or are willing to pay extra for it) this is a nice place with a great location! *Addendum: In regards to the hotel's response, I thought I should clarify my statement about the Wi-Fi. Technically they say that they provide complimentary Wi-Fi, however, the complimentary Wi-Fi is completely useless and will barely let you connect even to Google. Therefore, if you require Wi-Fi, you will definitely need to pay the hotel's required fee for it.

Our recent stay at the Holman Grand was incrediable , it is the best experience we have had at a hotel. Everything went smoothly for the entire week for us and the views from the 10th floor were amazing. The staff was very efficient, kind and very attentive to all our needs. The Rustic Grill was so convientent and exceptional food and service. We would give it a 10 out of 10 rating!!!!! and return to stay here as well in the future. Ajay and Jatinder

Joel at the front desk went above and beyond during our stay. The check in experience was efficient, when I forgot a toothbrush there was a spare and he even offered bottled water. 10/10 recommend staying here again as it was my first time!

Great room. Spacious. Loved the pool and hot tub. The staff was friendly and very helpful - appreciated the efficiency of the valet service. The surprise gift card provided at check in was also greatly appreciated and well used!
