Iโ€™m not sure I want to share this gem of a hotel with anyone as we want to be able to rebook when we next go to Charlottetown. We had a great stay at this beautifully restored heritage building. The suite was clean, well appointed and comfortable. A tasty breakfast was included which was a pleasant surprise. The Sydney is in an extremely walkable location for shopping, sightseeing, restaurants and waterfront walks. If we had been there at a different time of year it would have been nice to spend time sitting in the courtyard in the evening. Each staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. It really is a charming experience and we will be back if itโ€™s available. Thank you for a pleasant week.

Very elegant hotel, friendly staff, amazing breakfast and very comfy beds. No complaints of our actual stay in the hotel as we were treated very well. However there is something worth mentioning just for safety and awareness. The hotel is situated next to a home for men with addiction issues. The night my wife, son and I stepped out for a stroll we walked past this home and there were various men hanging around outside. One of them took a few steps towards my wife with a smile on his face before realizing that she wasn't alone and then stepped back. Obviously the hotel has no control over where the government decides to put these homes and my understanding is that these folks were moved here only recently. But its still something people should be aware of if travelling with women or youngsters. Again, this isn't a knock on the hotel as we all had a great stay there, my wife even called her mother to show her pictures of the hotel shortly after we arrived.

Super nice hotel, and great service! We stayed at the two bedroom apartments on the lower level, the place was huge, bigger than my actual apartment! Two full bathrooms, one with a stand shower and one with a bath tub, a full kitchen with dining table and living room! Beds were very comfy, gave us good nights of sleep. Very clean and spacious, breakfast were also included during our stay, super good food and friendliest staff!

This boutique hotel is just wonderful! Great location, amazing history, and the rooms are beautiful! The bed was extremely comfortable. My partner and I stayed only one day on July 18, 2023, but if we had known it would be so lovely we would have stayed another day! Syndney boutique hotel has a very beautiful courtyard seating area that you can relax and enjoy the beautiful grounds. Please do yourself a favour and stay here you wonโ€™t regret it!

Well, now I'm spoiled! This was a gorgeous place to stay. It felt a little more like a historic BnB than a hotel - in all the right ways! Beautiful historical touches, but updated and modern amenities. The bathroom was amazing, the bed was so comfortable. Nothing felt like your bland, typical hotel. Walking distance to everything we needed, close to the pier and downtown restaurants (maybe 10 minutes walk to those places). Was easy to find with a nice parking lot. Breakfast was lovely, all fresh made and delicious. The french toast bake was amazing and I would have happily eaten the entire dish if my waistline would have let me. My only point to note (and it's not bad, just be aware), they are being careful with water and there is a note about the hot water needing some time between multiple showers. (Once the hot water tank runs out, it needs some time to heat and refill, the water literally stops once it's done.) The note explaining this is in plain view on the counter, but I missed it. So following my husband, who likes his showers at about 'surface of the sun' temperature levels, wasn't the best idea. I should have waited the 30 minutes in between showers like suggested. If I had read that, and he didn't have insane temperature preferences that drained the hot water tank quickly, we would have been fine! Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and to recommend it to others. One of the nicest hotel stays I've ever experienced.

Beautiful rooms and quite big with a separate sitting area! The service was great and everyone was so friendly. It was also within walkable distance to the waterfront and some great restaurants. It's a fairly old bedroom so the floors creak a bit. Just a heads up if you don't want to wake a sleeping baby! Overall we loved our stay!

Lovely room and wonderful staff. The breakfast was not your average breakfast - eggs were fresh and fruit was cut that morning. The room was very luxurious and comfortable. We debated a 4 star for some minor challenges but we know times have been tough for the hospitality industry so felt it was more fair to share relativity to other hotels we have stayed at this trip - the hotel was beautiful, the staff very friendly and quality was high in all aspects of execution. The history of the building was intriguing and we would return if/when we are back in Charlottetown.

The hotel was perfect for a family stay, the breakfast was excellent but the room was not suitable for a dining room because there were no windows. The room was clean and had a very nice decoration, warm and very high ceilings, it was very pleasant. The sercice was nice and was careful that we didn't miss anything. On the other hand, something was missing, personally the hotel lacks a swimming pool. Thank you very much for your warm welcome, we had a very nice stay.

Absolutely lovely place to say. So much charm, huge room, excellent breakfast, great location, free paring and welcoming staff. We LOVED our stay here. Would highly recommend it. Make sure to read the history of the building, found in the book in the room and on their website. So great to stay somewhere with a history/story.

We spent one night here in August. The room was amazing and spacious. It was within walking distance to the Quay and Farmer's Market. The staff were all courteous, polite and helpful. The breakfast was included with the room was amazing. Without a doubt a truly wonderful experience. The food was delicious and plentiful! We will definitely return back here!

The location of the hotel is great and you can walk to anywhere in the city in under 5 minutes and the rooms are clean and large. I would highly recommend it.

We had a great (albeit short) overnight stay at Sydney Boutique Inn. It was a beautiful hotel in a great location with friendly staff.

Second time staying at this hotel. Absolutely the best hotel in PEI. Great location. Walking distance to everything. However, they do need to replace shower curtains. Getting old and smelled quite stale & pungent.

We loved this hotel! Everything is 5 stars about this hotel, except the water pressure in the shower was very weak. While the bathroom is huge, beautiful, and clean, the weak pressure didn't make it enjoyable. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely stay here again!

Well maintained/managed building. Room was clean and beautiful. Location is great: short walk to the founders market and the downtown area for shops and restaurants. Had a cute little courtyard for guests to hang out in. Will definitely book here again the next time we visit Charlottetown!

Gorgeous place. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. Although itโ€™s a small hot Al, the rooms are big enough. We added two beds in my room for three little kids. It is located in downtown and close to everything. We walked to waterfront and had dinner there. The people work there are very nice and helpful too. Definitely recommended.

Our favorite hotel ever! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in August of 2022. I just realized now I never left a review! The rooms are luxurious. Walking on the plush carpet was like walking across a cloud! The rooms are exquisitely decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. The included breakfast was also amazing with a wonderful spread that changed slightly every day. The showers were nice and large. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. All this at an extremely reasonable rate. I have yet to stay at another hotel in the same price range that compares. We will definitely be booking here again for our next trip to PEI!

The room is very clean and tidy and luxury, and I think itโ€™s the best hotel-level place to stay. Breakfast is included in the fees which is nice.

Everything is perfect. Elegantly decorated, spacious room facing a small park. Very quiet. Breakfast buffet is delicious and staff is friendly. There is a small book selection (mostly novels) in the hallway. It's very rare to find this high-quality service at this rate. I honestly think they should charge more.

Stayed at Sydney Boutique 2nd week of September. The 2 bedroom suite provided a nice stay. Nice to have a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Staff was great and the breakfasts were just what we needed before starting out on our daily travels. Highly recommend this hotel. Within walking distance of the downtown.

Quaint. A bit out of the way but not too far of a walk away from city centre... Rooms are dated but it IS indeed an older building, so do expect that. Breakfast was not great, you're literally going to the basement to eat; a bit chaotic and cramped. We booked a room that we didn't get, not sure how the lines were crossed. Reception was quick to respond to provide us with money back, at least that. The view of the park was serene, and the grounds were nice. Ample parking.

I stayed here for a week in May and all around it turned out to be an excellent choice. The rooms were very well appointed with excellent furniture options. The location is perfect, close enough to walk to downtown restaurants but far enough away to get the peace and quiet. There were two small areas for improvement, not major enough to dock a star. The first, I had a room beside their 'office' and many days the employee there would keep the office door open and I could hear their conversations. If there's a guest staying next door I'd recommend they make it a policy to keep the door closed. Second, the gym they promised me was actually closed and the backup location was not walkable. I had a car so it didn't matter too much, but if you need a gym I'd confirm with them which one you'll have access to and where exactly the location is.

Sydney Boutique Inn & Suites was the middle stay on our trip and did not disappoint. Our room was super nice and the Staff here is fantastic. They have great breakfast, too! There is a stunning garden surrounding the Hotel and their courtyard was a great place to relax and unwind. I recommend this hotel for your stay in Charlottetown. P.S. Next time we'll stay longer and try to get a suite with a kitchen so we can cook our catch from the ocean.

We stayed here for a long weekend and absolutely adored it!! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with planning some activities during our trip. The room was beautiful and they cleaned daily. They thought of everything that you could possibly need! The only tiny issue we had was the water pressure was a bit low and the shower drained slowly. They provided a delicious daily breakfast that included eggs bacon pastries and fruits. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend if you want to be in central Charlottetown!

We had a nice stay here. The Junior suite is not huge, but itโ€™s pretty. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Itโ€™s well located, just down the street from restaurants. Parking was easy to get in and out of. The breakfast was pretty good (weโ€™re coming back for that banana bread one day!) Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel if youโ€™re staying in Charlottetown.

We had an amazing experience staying here! The service was exceptional, the room beautiful and clean, and the hotel is conveniently located. We found the price very reasonable in light of all these benefits. Iโ€™d highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a hotel in Charlottetown.
