This is a vintage old house, slightly renovated, which, while clean and comfortable, has retained its old originality. Please note that if you are looking for a hotel with a five-star standard, this is not a good place for you, but if you are looking for a local place that has a sense of history of this area, then this place is highly recommended. Decent breakfast, comfortable bed and clean room, super friendly stuff.

A true show of pei hospitality, what an experience in this historic house. The lady of the house is polite, friendly, and made sure to go above and beyond expectations. Breakfast service in the grand hall made me feel like my mother is attending to me. The room we had was very clean and sleeping with an open window was serene, waking up to blue jays outside of the window. Thank you for a lovely experience

We had such a lovely time here 💕. Stayed for five nights with my mum and was such a cosy and welcoming stay. The family that run it are really kind and went out of their way to be friendly. The breakfast is simple but has all you need to start your day. The location is fantastic a minute away from the water and a five minute or less walk to the main shopping area of downtown Charlottetown. Really recommend 😊.

You can really tell it is a family run business where the staff take pride in providing a great experience for the guests. Breakfast was great, room was nice and clean, parking easy, within walking distance to downtown. Staff were fantastic all around. Thanks

Me and two friends stayed here at this bed and breakfast this weekend. Upon arrival check in and parking was a breeze. The rooms were smaller than I thought. Not much space to walk in between the 2 queens we had and the futon wasn't the most comfortable futon I've slept on. The bathroom fan wasn't working, and the bathroom window was broken so we couldn't open it to air out the smells. The place is NOISY! They were in the middle of renovations but it was noisy from 6AM. We were awoken to furniture moving around upstairs and heavy footsteps up and down stairs right outside our door. Aside from this the staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent as they offered eggs. No sausage or bacon, but we did get eggs along with the standard continental breakfast items like cereal, toast and fruits. If you're in a bind and need a place to stay then okay I guess this place will do, but in every other circumstance, I would rather stay somewhere that's a little quieter with bigger more spacious rooms.

Haven’t been to PEI in about ten years, my actual first time in Charlottetown, booked a few nights here, close to many amenities and harbour, well maintained room, great staff and owners very friendly and welcoming served breakfast between 8am-10am, was amazed it only cost $108+tax for what we were given. Thank you, will definitely book a room here again next time I get the chance to come back.

Overall, it was a great place to stay, especially with hospitality. Henry was very helpful and kind. We would definitely stay at the Sonata Inn again. Our 8 and 10 year old boys loved it.

The breakfast is awesome! It’s an older building with some smells and noises but that didn’t bother us. Staying here was a nice cozy treat. Excellent service. Thank you.

Two historic houses turned into a hotel. Overlooks ⚓ Harbour, but still walking distance to downtown Saint John. Room was a bit quirky as to be expected in older building.

We loved staying at this B&B! The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and courteous, and the breakfast was delicious! We walked into downtown Charlottetown both nights that we were there. We had a wonderful time! Wifi also worked very well!

This inn is as charming as Charlottetown. We had the two bedroom suite for my family of 4 (one room had queen and tv, other had pull out sofa and tv which my kids found comfortable and large fridge), clean and comfortable. We had a nice sitting area/table and kitchen right outside our suite and there is paid laundry in the basement if needed. The breakfast was good and had a variety of foods and drinks. Parking is easy right in their lot. The location was just perfect for visiting Charlottetown by foot - stroll along Victoria Park boardwalk at night to see the sunset at brighton beach lighthouse, Government house, beaconfields house, Peaks Wharf, Victoria Row, all very accessible by foot from here. Nice safe neighborhood close to everything. Friendly and helpful innkeepers. Only suggestion is i had to book through a third party booking site (expedia) which i hate doing, not sure if there was an option to book direct with inn online.

We had an excellent stay at the Sonata Inn. The room was nicely appointed, with everything we needed. The little kitchen next door was a very helpful amenity. And the cooked breakfast was a great added value. But what truly makes the Sonata stand out is the service. Everyone was super friendly during our stay, but even better was that when we left our camera battery charger in the room after checking out, they promptly called us to let us know, and held it for us until we could pick it up a few days later at the end of our trip. That is going above and beyond!!

This was a little gem. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were perfect as was the location, just a 5 min walk to the centre of town.

Excellent location that is a short walk from restaurants. Includes parking. Charming building, comfortable bed, excellent staff, great continental breakfast that included a hot egg muffin.

Most often we are likely to choose a hotel , we were very pleased that in this case we chose a B&B. This lovely historical home was charming, clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Love the little sitting areas on each floor, coffee room available 24hrs. Room was comfortable I loved the vaulted ceiling with large windows which offered a view of an old Charlottetown street. Close enough to downtown to enjoy all the amenities and attractions but far enough that the streets were quiet at night. There was a squeaky door here and some small chipped paint there but, it just didn't matter. Lovely. They advertise continental breakfast but in addition to the continental usual, we were offered freshly cooked bacon and eggs. Great experience, would definitely return next time we are traveling through.

We had an excellent stay at this very cute Inn. The staff was very helpful and even though we didn't have a reservation they did their best to accommodate us. This was all during Hurricane Fiona. They did their best to provide the best service possible even though they didn't have any electricity. The hosts were very welcoming, can't wait to go back!

Very nice B & B with very friendly and accommodating staff. Great breakfast but rooms may need a few touch ups but comfortable and homey. Great location. Walking distance to downtown but quiet and peaceful.

The hosts are so hospitable and go above and beyond to accommodate you! Breakfast was delicious, check-in was easy, amenities like beach towels or shower caps were easily accessible. Planning to go back to PEI and will definitely stay here again!

Great spot! Our room was perfect for the two of us, smaller as expected in an old home and nice AC! The staff was excellent and super friendly. Breakfast was good, parking is great and a block away from the Main Street.

Warm welcome and a comfortable bed. The day was hot so the blinds had been closed and the fan was running which was thoughtful. No air-conditioning and no refrigerator, so I had to go out for cold drinks. Close to gas stations, supermarkets and fast food outlets. Easy to get to central Summerside from here or avoid Summerside if you want. Being next to a cemetery it is quiet too. Breakfast options were ordered the night before. Plenty of parking but approach the entrance slowly because it is narrow. No complaints and would stay here again.

Very nice people manage this hotel :) They had a normal continental breakfast, but also a different hot breakfast option every morning (omelette, french toast, bacon, fresh fruit…). The staff even take your order as if at a restaurant and bring the food directly to your seat. They regularly asked if we needed anything throughout our stay, super comfortable beds, A/C, there’s even a kitchen available for guests. Overall it was a great experience!

Beautiful old home converted to a B&B complete with friendly staff and location, location, location. Victoria Park, downtown Queen Street and shops, and amazing restaurants. Love the old architecture and vibrant feel. The sunset view from the park is worth the walk/drive.

A beautiful rustic B&B right on the edge of the heart of Charlottetown PEI. Bed was comfortable and a nice light breakfast offering baked goods, cereal, juice, coffee and tea. Also had scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon as hot items. The room is rustic but very clean and well maintained.
