Big surprise, really nice inside! When I pulled up (someone had booked this for me, there was a festival and all chain hotels were booked) it was night and I was worried. I’m a business traveller and don’t usually stay at Motels. And then I went inside and was just shocked at how charming the place was. I was in one of the Motel units and it was totally renovated, look at my pictures. Even the porch in the morning was nice for hanging out with coffee. Also, it looks remote but it’s 1km away from a huge mall, Starbucks and McDonald’s. I peeked in on one of the stand alone cottages and for the price this is really nice, going to come back with my family next time I’m on the Island. No iron or ironing board so a drawback if you’re working.

We had to come on an emergency trip to Charlottetown (we are from New Brunswick) to rush our dog to the Animal Hospital at UPEI. We looked all over for a place nearby and stumbled upon Royalty Maples Cottages. The staff was so kind and they got us in last minute for 4 nights while our pup was in the ICU. I would highly recommend - the cottages are modern and clean and so nice! The service is above and beyond. The cottages are close to downtown Charlottetown and beautiful Brackley Beach! Thank you - we will be back when we visit PEI in the future!

My family of 7 stayed at this lovely cottage for a week. Faye and her team did an amazing job accommodating us from the start of our reservation to departure. The washroom, bedrooms and living room area were super clean. In addition, if you are travelling with kids, this is definitely the place to be as it is private. We will 100000000000% be staying again when we visit PEI.

Got a little cottage for the weekend, great alternative to a hotel/motel room. Kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and necessities to cook. Rooms were bright and clean. Location isn't far from local attractions.

Just spent 3 days in a one bedroom cottage. There were 3 of us, a dog and a Love bird. The cottage was basic but very clean. Great location for easy access to malls and close to Charlottetown By-Pass. Only about 10 mins from downtown. Fully equipped kitchenette with almost new appliances. The bedroom had new lamps equipped with charging plugs (USB and USBc etc.). Rates were reasonable, people were friendly. Great place to stay with pets, lots of open ground to walk them. Will definitely stay there again!

STAFF ARE RUDE AND DO NOT CARE. BEDS NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN OR ADULTS! DO NOT STAY HERE! Beds are not safe for children or adults and being held by zip ties. As soon as you sit on it the zip ties break and it is on the floor. My children could not use their bed as it was not safe or secure and felt they would hurt themselves with these beds. They have no care for safety for their guests. Brought this up to management and they have no care at all and hung up the phone.

Family friendly place to stay. Will be back soon and hope to stay longer next time I check in. Thank you.

Cabin had full kitchen including a fridge and stove. A living area, a bedroom, and a deck.

The cottage was really lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

A clean cottage. convenient location. Comfortable beds. The kitchenette could stand some upgrades . Heat pump is new, nice on hot days.

Cute little cottage a short drive to downtown makes for an alternative to a hotel stay. That being said, there were two queen beds stuffed into a room clearly not meant for that space (as the closet and drawers were not accessible) and the kitchen wasn’t fully functional (sprayer tap in kitchen stuck on spray which made washing dishes or getting water rather challenging!). Ok for couples, but not really suited for families.

This was a great spot to stay. We had 5 families staying here over the weekend.ots if room for the kids to play. Rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable. Heat pumps in all units so it was easy to set it for comfort. Staff were great, location was close to everything and we will definately be back. Highly recommended in my opinion. Check it out for yourself.

We stayed one night. The handles were falling off the pots and no hot water. They did refund our money that we paid for on a second night.

Absolutely amazing experience here. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful! The places are so clean and so well kept! Overall a great spot to stay and an such an amazing experience!

Great little private "cottage" at a major intersection. All big box stores, grocery, restaurants nearby. This is not meant to be a luxury escape, but it is clean, convenient, and the staff was great.

The place is okay, definitely needs upgraded. They say it has air conditioning but the air conditioners they have have to be the smallest ones you can buy. They also claim to have “high speed internet” maybe it was high speed back in 1960 when the place was built, you can’t even scroll through Facebook on it. They provide cook ware and silver ware but whoever washed the dishes before I got there did a terrible job, there were eggs on some of the forks and the pans had grease on them.

Very nice rooms. You can get your own private cabin which includes a kitchen, small living room, and a front deck with a BBQ, along with the bedroom and bathroom. Very clean and modern, beds were comfortable.

Stayed here with my parents and dog while traveling through Charlottetown so booked as we traveled. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The bedroom was tight with 2 queen beds, but the living/kitchen area and bathroom were spacious and the front porch was nice. There was plenty of room for our large dog, 3 adults and suitcases. The location wasn't great being right off the Trans-Canada, but the cabin was quiet once inside. It's also convenient to the harbor and great restaurants. I would definitely recommend.

Very neat and clean! Friendly service and very convenient location! We will want to stay here again on our next visit to Charlottown!

Great place to stay for a long time period

If I can only give this business a 0 I will definitely would! Very rude and unprofessional. Chris who handles all the emails have the guts to email us about the speed of the refund process of them like he’s not bothered that they held our money for almost 2 weeks for whatever reason and every time we are calling and emailing everyone is not available (not to mention we are always polite asking them follow ups) and they even hang up to our calls many times. I’m glad we are not staying here and not spending any money for a very unprofessional people. Shame on this people.
