Perfect location! Right on the beach and walking distance to everything you need. Room was spotless. Beds were comfortable. Complimentary pastries and coffee served every morning. What really separates this motel is the staff, starting with Patrick the manager who took the time to stop and talk and assure we were satisfied. We will return! Awesome three days and awesome staff!

Wonderful motel in a great location. It’s the perfect walking distance to restaurants and shops. Our room was so nice and clean, had a beautiful view of the ocean. The owner takes time to personally great each guest and talk with them. You can tell they take a genuine interest in their guests and their vacations. They also do little things that you don’t get anywhere else, especially chain hotels. They had sunscreen and bug spray out by all of the chairs for guests to use for free. They also served coffee and pastries in the morning, when fresh muffins were made one of the employees brought them around to the guests sitting out on the lawn and offered them. I was highly impressed with this motel and would definitely recommend them. If we’re ever back in york beach we would stay here for sure!

What a warm and friendly place! Staff were great and a big thank you to Patrick for going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The views are second to none, with your own private lawn overlooking longsands. Perfectly located. Get a lobster roll for lunch from the general store and dinner and a drink at stone's throw.

This place is absolutely beautiful! You can’t get closer to ocean. The rooms are clean the views are breathtaking. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Complimentary hot coffee and fresh warm baked yummies by the ocean . Highly recommend!!

We’ve stayed in many places over the years but Cutty Sark by far is our new favorite. First, location. The best! An oceanside private grassy area with plenty of seating which is fantastic if you’re not a sand in your toes kind of beach person. No more trekking wagons with chairs, umbrellas, coolers down to the sand, competing for a spot, dodging the tide. Located on Long Sands & walking distance to Short Sands. Second, staff. Very courteous and helpful! Very clean rooms. Love the convenient breakfast and coffee set up! Third, the view. Spectacular! We watched the August Full Moon, the sun rise, and brave surfers conquer the waves…all from our bed, watching out the huge, clean picture window. I’m so happy we decided to stay here and plan on continuing to do so in the future!! Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been staying at the Cutty Sark for many many years. We’ve never been disappointed from the cleanliness of the rooms the great service, and the owners are always ready to meet your needs. I highly recommend the Cutty Sark!

I m leary of an place with "motel" on the name, but this place delivers! Location & view are amazing. They set out coffee and muffins every morning...imagine being able to sit with your coffee & muffins on their lawn that overlooks the ocean, or from your room with the same view! You can walk to town/Short Sands beach and the place abuts Long Sands beach. Not sure there's a better place.
